I said to myself, "it has to be a mistake, they will come back on in a few minutes and say it was NOT Kurt, it was someone else, or it was a false report. Unfortunately, they never did. I just couldn't understand it, I had NEVER heard anything about Kurt being suicidal , as a matter of fact, it was just too hard to believe!!
Seems like a lot of people never made it past the denial phase of grief regarding his death and that's what makes me sad. Baffling. The internet and predatory people have capitalized on that denial. If you've never been around someone like that, (an addict with a mood disorder) you just don't know. Nobody "knows" so instead of acceptance, it's all about denial and misdirected anger. There's no "questions" if everyone is making up their own answers. In the words of John Lennon, "Everything fits when you're on some trip." With humans, there's facts, and there is beliefs, and since the internet, people don't know the difference anymore. Empathy and common sense died with him in the 90's. Rest in peace, love and empathy, Kurt.
Honestly? It's literally the toughest thing I've ever shot. He was discovered above the garage on a Friday. This service was the following Saturday, in those 8 days I'd not bathed, not left my apt. Think I slept a total of 4-6 hrs in 8 days. I was such a wreck. All I knew was what the main media told me. (Notice when Big Bird says to say a-hole, I followed along) I kept thinking, "I just saw him, he was fine" but in actuality it was a bit over a year since I saw him. It was backstage at Metallica, Black album. Looking back and knowing how messed up I was, sleep deprivation, depression, stopped eating, I did an okay job of keeping the shots framed. Had to mention this stuff.
The fans need to organise something yearly like they do for Lennon in New York. A generation never got over their grief, Kurt’s death was shocking to the core. To have groups of people together, signing and playing his music would really help. It needs to happen.
The internet and cell phones ruined everything. Would be nice if people had a sense of community about this but trolls will show up to an event like that and absolutely ruin it. Can't even check the comments on these videos anymore without b.s. I have a feeling the only reason this video is up is for yet another conspiracy comment circle jerk. Agreed. She did have Kurt murdered. He was filing for divorce where he had his own money and probably Francis. When she got wind of the divorce and knew she wasn't going to have anything, she may have hired a hit on Kurt. It wasn't El Duce but perhaps Courtney's ex or Allen Wrench. There's a lot of evidence. Secondly how would Kurt of held the shotgun while he was on heroin. Yes he was on it but it might of been used due to his chronic stomach pain, Something to numb the pain. I would have really liked to be at this memorial but I didn't know about it. I remember being really frustrated about that when I found out it had already taken place. The next week I don't think I bathed, didnt really talk to anyone, just stayed on the couch and absorbed any/all the media I could. The event in the video was Sunday. I've lost family members and loved ones. But I took this hard. I still tear up when I think of it. Just like right now. We were teens when we first met. We laughed of all the common things the 2 of us shared. Kurt is 1 week older than I. Both Pisces of 67. I'm crying. I gotta go....

I was pushing her in a stroller so I keep hoping I'll find us in an old video or photo somewhere. It was a sad event. Courtney's letter was read (although nearly impossible to understand what she was saying the audio was bad) & they said she wasn't there, but I'm certain that I saw her & recall hearing later that she was there incognito.

Fifth Angel from Bellevue had disbanded after 1989 but today are alive and well unaffected by the brief glitch of grunge.
