    I'd consider Queen II to be my favorite album of all time.
    It encapsulates all of the reasons I love Queen so much.

    Finally. Some REAL Queen. No one ever reacts to early Queen. You gotta do the first album too. Queen I. I think there both good, but the first album is slightly better IMO from my memory.

    Never gets old!! Quite frankly one of the most amazing hard rock albums I’ve ever heard. Sooo many people including casual Queen fans, don’t even understand how diverse and deep Queen really is! It’s Incredible!

      @davecole2561 Год назад

      Agreed! It is breathtaking in its ambition, layers, productions, transitions into songs - needs to be appreciated as a whole - and I could go on! It is so much more than just a hard rock album, and I wouldn't even attempt to categorise it. It's just early Queen! Incredible and definitely one of my desert island discs...

    By the time I got this album punk had taken hold, then the synth 80's, so I remember when it wasn't cool to be a Queen fan.
    Back then you shared vinyl with close friends as we couldn't afford to buy everything, I'd get this album back and could tell they didn't listen to it.
    Live Aid changed all that, every Queen fan was going "I fucking told you!" on that special day.
    Great reaction

    It WAS and IS fire. I think March of the Black Queen is an absolute masterpiece. The musicianship on this album is out of this world. Seven Seas of Rhye. This stuff doesn't get old, it's classic and timeless. The guitar on this album is also filthy.

I know, he said himself that "everything sounds better when Freddie sings it" -- but in this particular case, I think Brian is the right vocalist - lol...also, "loser in the end" - Roger Taylor song... just RIGHT for him to sing (Roger and Brian were the "rockers" in the band) - I appreciate your reactions.. and look forward to more!

    Why? Well aside from singing. They all wrote songs, & played multiple instruments. You know what that means? Aside from a huge ( ahem ) catalog. That is. LOL. Diverse hits / diverse music in general. Song writing credits. Means big money across the board. Which keeps every band member invested, & productive. Creating. Contributing to the band as a whole. Which is very smart, & probably the reason they remained a working band until Fred's death. BTW In an interview. Brian said. If the third album hadn't hit. They probably would have had to break up. As a consequence of all the money they would have owed.

      I think he was talking about their forth night at the opera ( Bo Rap)
      They were getting help to get away from Trident they had no royalties and Freddie didnt for his two singles that were no 10 and no 2.
      NATO they were direct with EMI who gave them a huge payment to make the album.
      But if they couldn't make it work they would have to call it a day.
