- Blue Streak is the only wooden roller coaster still remaining at Cedar Point. This Philadelphia Toboggan Coasters creation features an iconic blue paint scheme and a classic out-and-back layout.
That is SUCH a cool color for a wooden coaster! PTC was still a "power house" back then! John Allen did us proud.
It looks iconic.
The Blue Streak is the best ride in that park!! It's beautiful to look at, absolutely love the sound of the rollback on the main lift and throughout the ride. The airtime is awesome, but was way more intense "back in the day", with the single 'buzz bar' and bench style seating!! Your ass was on the seat when you boarded, and at the end of the ride. And don't forget the old skid brakes. This still is the best ride bar none. It rarely IF EVER goes down (are you listening Top Thrill Dumpster/DOWNTIME!), still has a decent capacity and is my all time favorite roller coaster at Cedar Point!!! Long live the Blue Streak. Fantastic work and video as always. Thank you for giving this classic ride some respect and love.
I respectfully disagree but, I absolutely love this coaster and I will always remember it because it was my late grandfathers favorite coaster

While I've only been to Cedar Point once, I don't think I even saw the ride while I was there. It's an amazing classic, and I'm gonna make a point to ride it on my next visit if it's still around by then, but it just gets drowned by everything else at the park. Also, I freaking love how most of these footage angles from outside the park look like this is a small, classic, family-owned park when you can't see the other coasters 😅
This one is easier to see from the road.

It would be awesome if CP brought those back (as well as removing the headrests on the trains) for the ride's 60th anniversary in 2024.
I wish I could've experienced it with buzz bars.
@@brycefourn2001 Seeing how they did SHIT for the ride's 50th anniversary, don't count on it. That asshole Tony Clark said when asked why the park didn't even have ceremonial bunting or flags on the station and platform, he said it wasn't his Department! (He's a douchebag). And Geauga Lake Park under Cedar Point ownership didn't do SHIT for the Big Dipper's 80th season either. So sad and things like that are marketing no-brainers.

Nice to see some off ride footage from Cedar Point coasters! :D Any Plans to record Magnum off ride footage? If so could you please include some footage from the queue line and the interior of the station (especially what the entrance to the station building looks like). I have searched for pictures of both for over a week and couldn't find anything...
I don't have much footage of Magnum since weather was a major issue during my last Cedar Point trip.

How is it different than the Defunct one at Conneaut Lake? (And Yes, I felt bad that it burned to the deep space.)
This one uses small bunny hills for airtime and is smoother. Conneaut's had bigger drops for the airtime.
