I grew up going to Disney World since I was 10 and have been lucky enough to visit Disneyland twice. I have to say, I just LOVE Disneyland. It's so nostalgic and knowing Walt was there is so special. I didn't know you could walk inside Sleeping Beauty's castle and I was sitting alone, just taking in the astmosphere and saw people going into a door and was like "hmmmm, what's that?" So I walked over there and went inside and was pleasantly surprised to find the castle walk through. It felt so magical since I didn't know about it and I was alone... like I found a hidden treasure!
I've only been to the Magic Kingdom, but this video makes it clear Disneyland is miles above MK for rides, nostalgia, and crowds.
I would definitely agree about the nostalgia
1) If you ever need to Disneyland correspondent look no further I’m your girl!
2) As a lifelong Disneylander and former CM, It has always shocked me that people in Florida wait hours for rides because Disney Landers would never😂
I left when Molly left but came back for Quincy. She and Emma are a great team.

LOVED Disneyland!!!! You hit it, the vibe is so much more relaxed than Florida!! If/when we do it again we will do 2 days in Disneyland, wish we could have done more. Gaston is so much fun to interact with! He was so fun and flirty and full of himself, it was hilarious!! I love the character interactions in CA, I agree, it feels like we're visiting them where they are comfortable and roaming vs FL where the characters are very staged
I'm having so much fun watching this video. Being a California girl, I've been to Disneyland more times than I can count, but I've never been to Florida, so I've never been to Disney World. Watching you two WDW girls enjoy Disneyland for the first time is so fun! This is a great video. I love introducing visiting family & friends to Disneyland for the first time.
Oh my gosh seeing Quincy experience Disneyland for the first time is ❤❤❤ I cannot wait to go one day!!! So sweet seeing this adventure through the eyes of a first timer.
I wish we got to hear Quincy’s thoughts on the DL Pirates compared to the MK Pirates since it’s one of her faves!
Enjoyed this video especially Emma cracking me up when she does her little southern twang on seeing Gaston. I've been to Disneyland so many times it's lost some of it's luster for me personally but I do enjoy watching people get excited for their first time, I remember when I first went how much in awe I felt and seeing other people have the same experience never gets old.
Hey that was our group in line for Chimichangas. We had a nice convo with Quincy and Emma about how we were all Disney World folks and how odd it was to run into them at Land. Both of them were lovely people

So what I am hearing is that you guys need to do a challenge video to see how many attractions you can do in one day at Disneyland!
I actually did this last week as a personal challenge. I did all 38 unique attractions once without the aid of Genie+ or Magic Morning. 42 rides in total. I also missed the parade and the fireworks and ate all my meals on the go. 😅
It's great seeing and hearing the experience from Quincy's perspective since it's her first time. You both have to come back and check out the Hyperspace Mountain overlay when it comes back. It really feels like the evolutionary bridge between Space Mountain and Cosmic Rewind.
First, I loved this video. Watching Quincy have all these new experiences and seeing her joy was infectious!! Also they aren't kidding, that monte cristo sandwich is so so so good!!

Hey! Doing a Disneyland and Universal Studios Hollywood trip is definitely doable and very fun! Just a few words of advice:
1. Go to Universal Studios first. It's about an hour north of Disneyland, and if you do this before DL, you won't be disappointed when you compare.
2. There aren't really any hotels besides the Hilton and Sheraton around Universal. I loved the Hilton, and it was a 10 minute walk to the park, because your already in Universal City (think of it like staying on property in WDW).

You guys went up the wrong ramp for the Tomorrowland Train Station haha. It’s ok, everyone makes that mistake. 😂
In regards to Fantasmic, I like Disneyland’s because of what it had to overcome. The spectacle appears out of nowhere which is how imagination works.
ROTR in Disneyland actually closes early! Can’t wait to do it until the end of the night because it closes at 9 pm due to the line, and Disneyland not wanting to have to keep it open for the line to be gone before closing like other rides.

I can’t believe it’s Quincy’s first visit. I grew up there, going 3-5 times a year but haven’t been back since the big close. I live in Arizona now, and I really love the Florida cleanliness, but Anaheim is so much cheaper to pull off, I might just have to keep where I started.
I have been fortunate to go on one of the Disney cruises when I was 5, Disneyland when I was 10, and Disneyland again next month. Hoping to go to Disney world sometime, but I LOVE the nostalgia and immersion of Disneyland.
It’s great to get a DL perspective from non California residents. Glad you both were able to experience Walt’s O.G. Park. It never gets old!

My first visit to Disney was 50years ago when I was 15 yrs old. I remember Mattahorn coaster and It’s a Small World, you girls are lucky you get review it.

I highly recommend doing Storybook Land at night. It is so much better riding through when the miniatures are lit up.
Next time in California, how about visiting Knott’s Berry Farm(near Disneyland), Six Flags Magic Mtn(better roller coasters), and San Diego Safari Park(better animal exhibits than Animal Kingdom)?
I think that should be your next discussion… common rides/shows, which is better Disneyland or Disneyworld
Totally a matter of the individual, but me personally….I tend to pick most of the Disneyland versions over the World versions. Things like Jungle cruise and Dumbo, I pick World. Things like Haunted Mansion and Pirates, I pick land.
I think this could have been twice as long and broken up into 2 parts
The skewers 5 feet away in adventure land are very good too

Mr. Toads Wild ride is my favorite only because it has the comfiest seats after a long park day LOL
I also think that Disneyland Space mountain is better than Disney World Space Mountain. I'd only gone to Disneyland my whole life and when I finally went to Disney World, I got off Space Mountain disappointed. I couldn't hear the music (which in my opinion adds so much fun), it wasn't very dark so I could see where I was going so there wasn't the same feeling of thrill. Disneyland wins here!
I feel the same way. Just rode the Disney world one for the first time recently and couldn't believe how rough it was, and how uncomfortable the seats were 😬

You guys didn't comment on Pirates. I was curious to see your reaction. And thank you for the correct opinion, Space Mt. is soooo much better at Disneyland. I love going to both Disney World and Disneyland. There are different things I love about both. But Space Mt is definitely superior in California. Molly is wrong on that one. (Sorry, hope it is ok to reference her. Love that I can watch both of your contents.)

I enjoyed this video, but I don't share your views about the Fantasmic show. I've seen both shows in California and Florida. The stadium at Hollywood may have been built for the Fantasmic show, but I think the one in California is grander and superior.
I’ve only been to Disney World twice so idk why I feel so attacked when people say Disneyland is better 😭 I will admit the fact that it’s smaller and less crowded so the characters can walk around us very appealing.

I did get to ride it! It was the holiday overlay and was so beautiful! I loved the outdoor segments and looking for Disney characters in the scenes. -- Quincy

For those keeping score on this video only; They only missed Winnie, Splash, Rise, Millenium, Dumbo, Peter, Nemo, Monorail, Star Tours, Astro Orbiters, Tiki Room, Jungle Cruise, The Bootstrappers, Mark Twain, Columbia, Shooting Gallery, Davy Crockett Explorer Canoes, Raft to Tom Sawyer Island, Pirates Lair, Main street vehicles, The Dapper Dans, treehouse (closed), visiting Patrick Begorra's house, Fantasyland Theater (Is Lion King still performing?), (Toontown which has Roger, Gadget, and soon Railway (all closed)), Fantasy Faire Theater, Pixie Hollow meet and greet, and the Peoplemover by about 27-1/2 years (RIP) my favorite ride ever

I am seriously crossing my fingers that Indiana Jones is opened back up again by the time we're there in March. I have very reserved hopes, though, with how people are speculating about it returning in conjunction with the new movie.... BUT, a guy can still hope!
My heart was shattered today because the Indiana Jones is reopening exactly ONE WEEK after I leave DL :((((

Disneyland has so many great food options that I would highly discourage Pizza Planet except for the chicken fusilli, but none of their pizza is very good

The seating and sight lines has always been an issue with me, and I still would pick DLRs version over DHS version.
BTW disney land does not have rides they have attrcations
