Cars Land is arguably my favorite themed section of the West Coast parks, and it looks even cuter with the Christmas overlays. That car snowman with the orange cone for the carrot nose is so cute! Thanks for another great video, it's nice to discover the Disneyland parks in more details.
I can’t believe you got to meet Carl! His character design reminds me very much of my late Papa; I’d love to meet him in the parks but I’m afraid I’d cry like a baby.

After spending a few days in both Disneyland and California Adventure for the first time in 5 years last week I had forgotten how much fun both parks were. Granted, they had some things there that they didn't before but still, had a ton of fun. After spending a week in Disney World in October I wasn't excited about going to Disneyland, I didn't want to do Disney for awhile but it was laid back, weather was nice, the fact that neither park is huge works to its advantage, just had a great time.

Can Quincy and Emma make a video talking about the differences between Genie+ on both coasts? We just went to WDW and have a good handle on that, but looking to plan a Disneyland trip and wants to know the differences between the systems, since I know they are different
They only thing I remember being different on both was that DL/DCA included photo pass and at time I used both, it was more expensive than DW. Other than that, booking seemed to be exactly the same.
The rules for booking are the same, but it's much easier to book Genie+ attractions at Disneyland/California Adventure. There are only a few rides that will "sell out" of Genie+ times. Even booking the individual lightning lanes are easier at Disneyland to actually get a time. WDW and Disneyland have their own apps that you would log into for My Disney Experience

@pigeonplumtree3, any thoughts on the other “carnival” rides at CA? I totally agreed about guardians. It snuck up on me cause tower of terror is NEVER a problem in Florida. It’s a screen problem for me definitely, Because of motion sickness I would be scared to even try smugglers run or swinging cars on pal around though I loved riding regular cars on the Ferris wheel for the
I was encouraged by Quincy’s feed back on golden zephyr ( which was down ALOT when I was there). , but then when she was ok with swinging cars on Ferris wheel I wasn’t sure I could totally bank on her feedback. Interested in your opinion

Disneyland is my home park so I'm so excited for all the Disneyland content 🙌🏻 My family and I never rope drop any of the parks (even though sometimes I want to) but that's the joy of Disneyland it's not as crowded until it's summer and holidays so rope dropping isn't SO important unless of the busy or new rides. Loved this video though and can't wait to watch more content! And love the Rjay content as well!!!

Liked seeing RJay in person! Years ago, our family experienced a CA earthquake while on the then named Mickey’s Fun Wheel. Yikes! Haven’t been on it since!

When my husband and I went on our honeymoon, we decided to bookend our trip with DCA. We did this because, from what I remembered, it's a lot easier to take it easy and go at a leisurely pace, so we could ease ourselves into our trip, and then plod around on our last day when we were super exhausted. It worked really well!

We got a redemption pass because Goofy's Flight School went down for maintenance and we ended up using it after we park hopped to Disneyland and used it on Alice in Wonderland. I'm sure there was a better use of it, but this was the only Fantasyland ride we hadn't been on and it was constantly at like 40 mins wait, so we used it and got right on, which was awesome!

Disneyland is not a dry park anymore. There’s alcohol available at Oga’s, Blue Bayou, and maybe other spots too…

I'll be excited to explore this hotel but I won't be staying there.
Maybe it's the time we plan on going but the prices compare to WDW Deluxe pricing and that's not where we want to spend our money during trips. I'm not going to be in the room enough to justify it.

Park Hoppers are not automatic at Disneyland Resort. You can buy a ticket for one park per day or a park hopper.
Park Hopper added on are worth there compared to DisneyWorld because everything is closer in Disneyland

Park tickets are not auto park hoppers. The park hopper option is $60 per day on top of the ticket price.

Tickets are not automatically parkhopper. They are more expensive to get parkhopper, but more worth it than Disney World as it is quick to hop.

I'm not sure why you guys thought that Disneyland tickets are automatically park hoppers. I think it's more like if you upgrade to park hoppers, you upgrade every day of your ticket, but that's the same at WDW.
You can buy park hopper tickets ahead of time. Upgrading is an option when you get there. I would recommend buying park hoppers. Even when I have been with people from out of town, we go back and forth between the two parks.The food is better at California adventure. I go to both parks when I go also. I know it is different with a pass.

Yes! I thought the same thing! I was so confused. Single park tickets are absolutely available. That's what most people I know do. Unless the days they wanted to go the single park tickets were sold out?
I would NOT do park hopper unless you plan to be there from opening until closing. Trying to park hop with kids is way too stressful. Way better to do one park a day.
@@mlou4444 I don’t think you can get a park hopper if both parks are sold out, but you can get one if one of them is, so if you want to go to Disneyland and only DCA is available, you could choose to park hop to get to Disneyland. Or you could just go to DCA. Pretty sure she was just thinking like, she already added on park hopper and it’s automatic for every day at that point. But you do add it on. That’s the super confusing part.
@@Hubgrass One time I had to get a park hopper ticket because single park was sold out. The calendar of available dates when you buy them is different.

You ladies have always looked gorgeous. It's nice seeing you in my home Disney parks. I personally like it better with you ladies being the main women of All Ears because before the amazing Molly dominated everything. Now there's mutual teamwork and the competitions aren't one sided

Huh? You can absolutely buy tickets for one park. It's a single park ticket. I do it all of the time. Was only the park hopper ticket available when you purchased them?
Park hopping is only worth it if you plan to be there all day, like from opening until closing. Trying to do it with little kids is a nightmare. I once spent an extra $75 and 3 hours of waiting in lines to only do 2 more rides. My nephews needed to leave by 5pm. NOT... WORTH... IT... 2pm - 5pm is dead time anyway. All the LL times are super late and the lines are very long. It's a good time to take a break or do a non ride activity.

You are basically spending a lot of money to walk around and spend more money! The perfect DCA Day according to Disney Corp Execs who want you to just come, not get your money's worth for the price of the ticket/parking and spend MORE MONEY! It's like you were trying to go on as few rides as possible! You probably spent triple the cost of the ticket just on all the extras! NOT at ALL PERFECT!!!
