Hi everyone, interesting update from Disney Castaway Cay! we had dead american Guest on Island, this is what happened: Guest was snorkeling and started to complain that he is not feeling well and started to loose consciousness. Unfortunately incompetent lifeguards needed like twenty minutes to extract poor guy from water! Island Nurse did not responsed on emergency for 10 minutes,crew was searching for her around island,eventually was found with her radio switched off?!When she arrived, together with lifeguards she putted cpr device on wrong place on patient and than they tried to transport patient back to cruise ship.On entrance on ship,lifeguard and nurse dropped patient on ground,he fell directly on head,all this happened in front of his family!
Did you remember the caramel popcorn? I was looking at the water bottle early on and was wondering how long before it gets lost. Get a carabiner and attach to your bag
I would love to see a series for someone who has one day in each park and wants to maximize both genie plus and standby queues to get as much as done possible, while including parades, nighttime spectaculars, food and other non attraction style activities. It would be neat to see how much can get done that way and what gets sacrificed. Kind of like a challenge/ best day ever video mixed together for the person who has one chance to experience as much as possible.
Thanks so much for a perfect video. I love the Perfect series because they are relaxed and less frantic. They are like hanging with friends. Sage and Quincy are hilarious together. I loved all the singing and the mini game idea added an interesting element.
I appreciate the mentions of the weather and temperature. It's very helpful to know when the videos were filmed and the temperature, particularly in the winter. What a Floridian wears at 70 degrees and what a Michigander wears may be 2 different things, so that info can help with packing.
When Quincy brought up how Guardians has a very unique physical effect I nodded so hard in agreement. I have said it every time I've ridden it. That ride makes me feel things no other ride could. We got my 63 year old mom on it a couple weeks back and she agreed that it definitely feels unlike any other ride out there.
AK was criminally slow when Hubby and I went this past time (first week of December) and we had such a relaxing and chill day. Our whole trip was pretty lucky as far as crowds went! It makes for a much more "Vacation-y" experience when the crowds are in your favor!
If you can do most or all of 2 parks on a light day that gives me confidence that I can do well in these parks in one very busy day. Hopefully my strat of doing epoc and animal on the 2 really busy days then Magic and Hollywood on the less busy days will actually work out.
I came here to say that Quincy had ABSOLUTELY said that Na’vi River Journey is the Safari of Pandora! I know she did because ever since, I’ve remembered that and now I see that attraction in a whole new light. She either said it herself, or someone else had mentioned that she says that. I’ll find it - I’ve got your back, Quincy!! Lol.
We have this little black ants in the house and it's almost impossible to get rid of them. Do you think Animal Kingdom would loan Annie out for a while?
You two are a hoot. Umm, Quincy did you let Sage leave without caramel popcorn? FoP made me cry the first time too. But not for the same reasons. The glasses wouldn't stay on my head cause I have a freakishly small head so I was messing with them the entire time, I was uncomfortable because I was pushed too far into the front of the seat, I was woozie and had a headache. Swore I'd never ride it again. They have fixed the glasses issue, I've learned to sort of brace my arms a tad when they are moving the seat back forward so it doesn't squish me and I take Bonine. Still not my favorite but I can ride it. Quincy I have one word for you - carabiner. Seriously, get one, clip your water bottle to your bag. Never loose it again.
Poor Quincy & her water bottle saga 😢 You should definitely check out a water bottle sling bag. We found a great one by AUPET that can carry multiple sizes (including my 32oz Hydroflask) with different handle configuration. It even has a pocket for my Liquid IV packets & hand sanitizer. I also use a sling bag and used the smaller strap to connect a clip to attach to my main bag. One bag to remember! Also definitely write your name & phone number on the bottom so people can call you when they find it. That worked very well for me the one time I still left it. 😂
There are goats on the Kilimanjaro Safari because in Tanzania around Kilimanjaro, the amount of goats far surpass any other animal on the Kilimanjaro safari. They are often herded or taken care of by the Maasai and Chaga tribes

Always feel like the odd man out but I never really cared for Flight of Passage. Maybe its the 3d glasses, maybe it because I really don't care about Avatar at all, but it never really does anything for me. 🤷♂
Disney isn’t taking care of rides as they should, but I hope they’ll eventually do some work on Navi River Journey. The shaman of song made it worth the ride for me, but the rest was underwhelming. They must have used 95% of their budget on that one animatronic. 😅 If they added some better effects and storytelling, it could be a truly amazing ride.
