In this vlog, I drive from my home to London Gatwick airport. There I use the Gatwick Airport Valet Parking, which I got for a 10% discount through the Gatwick Airport app. Once safely parked, I meet up with my friend Gary C for check-in to Hampton by Hilton at London Gatwick North Terminal. There I surprise Gary by telling him we're staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge! We give you a full room tour of a standard twin room before grabbing dinner at Giraffe in the South Terminal. We head back to the room after we pick up some essentials from Marks and Spencer and a ride on the tram (with singing).
The next morning we check-in for our Virgin Atlantic Premium Economy flights. We utilise Gatwick Premium security (available for £5 per person if not included in your ticket) and check in to the No.1 Lounges Clubrooms. Our flight to Orlando International (MCO) was delightful. We bumped into Elizabeth, our favourite Virgin Atlantic air stewardess and enjoyed some delicious food. Upon arriving in Orlando we tried out the Minnie Van Airport Shuttle service. This was booked over the phone +1 407-WDW-PLAY (+1 407-939-7529) and cost $155 for up to 4 people. We provide a full review on whether the experience was really worth the money and show what the experience was like.
Checking in to Animal Kingdom Lodge, we give you a full room tour of a newly refurbished Jambo House two queen bed, Savannah view room. As we requested a room close to the lobby and on a high floor, we didn't end up with the best view in my opinion so I maybe wouldn't recommend those requests. However, the room was incredible and far beyond what Gary and I have come to expect on our Disney trips (thanks Ever After Holidays for the magic).
We then daringly headed out to Animal Kingdom! There we enjoy a ride on Navi River Journey, a quick service meal at Satuli Canteen (where-by I explain how to use the Disney Dining Plan a bit more), we have a quick ride on Kilimanjaro Safaris (bad idea) before retreating to Animal Kingdom Lodge and The Mara quick service for a snack (Orange Cream Bar and Mickey Bar).

When traveling with two suitcases, until you have to check them, take those straps and attach them together. Wrap them around both suitcases so they move as one. Easier to roll. 😉

This was just what I needed. I have watched it several times now and still makes me laugh. The room tour was great. I love the two of you. You both seem so very relaxed from the beginning and having wonderful time. Looking forward to the next one!. Stay safe!
I've loved using the dining plan the times that I've gone. Since it's all paid in advance it was nice to not have to worry about budgeting for food while actually in the parks. We pretty much always used the quick service credit to get a big breakfast in the morning at the resort, then used the snack credits throughout the day before using a table service credit at our dinner.

Adam and Gary! I cannot express how happy I am to have the series debuting today as this one gonna literally save me from becoming totally bored in the next weeks. Was supposed to go to WDW on March 14th. 30 mins before the planned boarded from Dublin the travel ban was extended. We decided to postpone anyway as Disney announced 2 days prior to that, that they will close the parks. Lets just hope that November will happen...

Adam, you had me cracking up "pay for the WIFI, it's worth it, it's spotty sometimes but we mostly use it for work and Instagram stalking". We're so glad to know we aren't the only people that participate in a little instastalking now and again. This vlog was so delightful. Animal Kingdom Lodge is one of my bucket list resorts to stay at, I just wish it wasn't so far from the other parks/attractions.
My family of four used the same dinning plan and loved it. For us the deluxe dinning plan is way to much for how much you will eat in a day. Put in consideration on your eating habits and especially if you have kids, the nice thing is that you can used the plan not only in Disney parks but Disney springs as well. We used it at the Rainforest Cafe as a sit down credit and basically ordered anything we wanted off the menu regardless of the cost. We also ate at Cinderella's Castle but it cost Two credits as some popular high in demand restaurants do charge two credits . Regardless it made us stress free when it came to lunch, dinner, breakfast and along the way snacks. The Standard dinning plan was just right.

Just been watching the October 2017 trip for the first time, and love how Gary has come out of his shell and let his brilliant personality shine through as all these vlogs series have come out, greatly aided by Adam what a friend to have in life.

I honestly don't know how many times I have seen this now and Gary saying "that offends me" just cracks me up every time.
Packing cubes are great if they are compression packing cubes otherwise it will take up too much space. That’s the lesson we learned. Love watching you and Gary having fun and enjoying each other’s company.

Bless you Aimee, I'm a grown man, about six foot tall that weights about 225 pounds of muscle! And I admitted I will never get tired of going to all this parks! Which now they're closed for God knows how long due to this virus! And I live about a hours drive from Magic Kingdom, Epcot Center and all of their hotels, which I've stayed in the past! And proud to say a few years back I've stayed close to a month out there and got annual passes to all the parks and had the time of my life. There's so much to do out there, that you'll never get tired, between the parks, eating out, shopping at Disney Springs and City Walk, movies, everyday flea markets, outlet stores, museums, ESPN complex , there's also a lot of lakes out there, Old Town, right next to it games and rides for the whole family and much more! I could spend two months out there doing different things everyday! I hope God willing there's a cure for this virus and we can get back to normal! Enjoy.
Can't get enough Adam and Gary! If you ever want to move to Utah, I want you as neighbors! Adam, I love your singing voice. Please sing in front of people more often. Packing cubes, means things in one place. You take out of case when unpacking so quickly v item by item. I hate unpacking on starting holiday. Love just taking out cubes and hit parks. Lol. What a blessing you both got. Wish we had this company in US. My hubby and I have different colour for cubes. Can unpack in 5mins. Your vlog is much needed after 4 weeks in isolation👍

Ever After, you are incredibly intelligent picking these two up. Adam and Gary together is wonderful fun. If I could go to WDW with anyone, it would be these two fellas, aside from my wife. Adam, lyft will get you from the airport to a Disney hotel for around $30 ish. I love the idea of a Minnie van, but I dislike the price. Happy day! Thank you Adam and Gary and now Ever After.

I personally think it’s always freezing on flights. I’ll layer up on any long haul flights especially. I work as cabin crew and get quite annoyed when people tell me they they’re too hot because I hate having to turn the temperature down 😂
