I reckon those scans are good enough to scan a complex object and then use that to design a 3D-printable case/stand that fits it like a glove. As you said, putting the scanner on a tripod and rotating the object on a turntable might produce better results too!

you leave out the key directions . like when you export you need to go to the non color mode then export as an stl . you talk way to fast and are all over the place .slow way down
