Thank you so much for launching this awareness campaign and project. Many people suffer mental health problems in silence, or don't reach out because they feel that they 'need to be strong'. I used to suffer from depression and also a panic disorder. It was like losing my soul, like being a ghost in the world of the living. This issues really effects me, so seeing the Royals talk about this across the media almost brought me to tears. Thank you, thank you!! I also used to think that there was no hope. But there is!! Reach out, ask for help. Talking therapies worked well for me (counselling, CBT), as well as making life changes to make room for my mental health issues, like reducing the amount of hours I worked, and cutting toxic people out of my life. You can get over these issues. It takes time, and there will be times where you feel that you're taking a few steps back before moving forward. But it can and does get better. The key element, is self love, self-compassion. Don't be so hard on yourself. Sending you all love and positive vibes.
Great commercial, thanks for the work you are doing!!! Thanks also for the reminder that we need to listen, and also that we need to talk and share how we are feeling, very encouraging.
Thank you for the effort. The message about listening is good but there is no context as to WHO we should be listening to and WHAT are we going to hear that we have answers for. At the very minimum, something should have been said about what people say that indicates they need help and are receptive to it, as well as a simple link to where to find it.
Listen to everyone and anything they have to say. Obviously. And there is no need for you to answer. You may likely not have an answer anyway. Your goal is not to fix a 'problem' by giving an answer. But the very starting point is to just listen to them without you interrupting or inhibiting them.
@@milliehutchings Hello Millie - who are you to say "You may likely not have an answer anyway"? In truth, everyone has the answer to everything already inside of them but many do not know how to tap into that sacred place. I never said I intended on fixing a problem. But just telling people to listen to other people comes across as you saying you practice it and you have mastered it and now you're out here on RUclips telling the world to do the same.
@@MCO400 Ironically, I don't think you 'hear' what I'm saying... Don't worry I'll go talk to someone else - because there will always be someone who will just listen! 😉 Enjoy your day! ×××👍
