Hype is gone? I don’t think so. With the new additions for 2025 and also the return of the Stroppe, I think the hype is still very much there! Definitely too expensive in the beginning but still, they don’t last long on dealer lots (except for the Raptors, just a completely unrealistic price!!)
@@halbear4068I would say the hype is gone. Now we’re in the phase where it’s just “selling well.” We’re heading towards a more normalized inventory. For a while my local forwards had 0 stock. Too me the only Ford that still has the hype is the Maverick. My fords still don’t have more than 1-2 at a time.
Just grabbed a new 2023 (sitting on the lot for almost 2 years), Badlands with SAS and Lux packages as well as trailer hitch and it was $12k below MSRP, so $64k to $52k plus $1k dealer BS and $3k tax, so $56 OTD. I'm in love with the thing after 4 days. It's Eruption Green and looks incredible. I'm OK with the inside, but the handles are hot trash and I prefer the grey dash vice the 2024 black dash. Being green and BL the inside sticking yellow is perfect for that match with my BL badge and compliments the green. I'm coming from a 2013 Rubicon and I love it. 2 Door all the way baby!
8:12 I noticed this when I was about to purchase my Black Diamond Sasquatch. Originally I was going for either Race Red or Hot Pepper. But as soon as I noticed the trim color in both was blue because It was way the trim dictates, I went with Velocity Blue.
I picked up a 23 Wildtrac 4-Dr Hardtop, Cactus Gray, Modular Bumper, High Lux, 12k miles for 58k. Was a special order and had every option. Im sure the original owner paid over MSRP which was 69k. Been through all types of Jeeps and traded my TRD Tacoma because i needed bigger. Bronco drives great and looks super cool.
As a 24 big bend owner that order and took delivery in January and paid MSRP and negotiated all fees off, I agree with the interior take of the crazy colors on the other trims. The price is still holding on the retail side but now you can work discounts or incentives now. I think there is still some demand but people can't afford it.
got both of my broncos at msrp back in 2022. my 2 door is a base amd my 4 door is a bd mid package. my base has 6800 miles in 2 years . i got the base to build and wheel it yes its on 37s my wifes drives the 4 door and the day she got it home she wanted it lifted its on 37 to.
Went looking for a Bronco Sport for the GF yesterday. Back in 2022 we tried to get her one and their was an ADM of $4,000-$6,000. Now they are taking $5,000-$6,000 off MSRP. Had my Mach 1 at the Ford dealer last month. 30 Broncos on the lot PLUS 10 Bronco Raptors.
I'm not sure if this is based on American stats and info but here in Canada they are continuing to absolutely rake us over the coals. I would love to get a bronco but in Canada for brand new they are asking near 80k for the badlands....
I was on reserve for a Bronco on day 1, but ultimately cancelled because I HATED the brown interior of the WildTrack and refused to spend $60,000+ (the delays for delivery and cost kept rising, so I stopped paying attention what it finally sold for) for a new vehicle I hated the interior.
I'm seeing decent markdowns on current '24's ($5500 off MSRP). I was really looking at a 2 door Badlands with the Squatch Mid/Lux. After realizing there's no vents in the back seats if was a dealbreaker, luckily they are adding them for 25's. I have a 21 Rubicon and was looking to have this as a second vehicle. I will go with that or another Rubicon.
The Broncos definitely aren’t selling as well. I’m FINALLY seeing markdowns on everything from the less expensive trims up to the Raptor (20k off MSRP near me).
If Ford priced their Broncos 5k below the price of a comparable Jeep Wrangler they would sell. I own a 2021 two door Bronco BigBend with Sasquatch and v6 and it’s awesome. Would never buy another Jeep Wrangler after owing this.
😮that’s not a big😂 Ben ; It’s a base model.2door bronco at the time it’s sold for $28,000 and after all of those dents in it 🙉 wow it really holds its value (that’s not hard to do math to that👈🏾$28.500-$25.000=👍🏾
I don't mind Ford not offering the V8 for an offroad vehicle that is designed more for rock crawling. You can always purchase an aftermarket v8 and drop it into the Bronco, even though it is expensive. But I think that the interior colors being based off of trim package is particularly annoying. I don't mind replacing the meat and potatoes of a Bronco like the suspension and engine, but I don't want to redo the interior of an offroading vehicle. I will continue waiting for a few more years to see if Ford makes some more positive changes to the Bronco.
I really want to order a 25 Stroppe edition, but my 22 Bronco isn’t paid off or paid off enough yet 😢. My 22 is a Base and I ordered it so it wasn’t bad price wise (no mark up).
The pendulum swings back-and-forth of course they came back down to reality. I could not get a heritage January and all the markups were 10k around me so I got Rubicon instead for the time being -25k off
All auto prices are coming down…. Discounts will abound for 2025…. Toyota has held off uploading configurator of the new 4Runner. Will be interesting to see if they move price point down due to slow selling of the new Tacoma. Under 60k for a fully loaded 4Runner TRD pro would be the sweet spot…. No value in Wrangler, Bronco, 4Runner at over 60k….
With the updates to the 25's I feel like the used and new that have not moved are going to drop even farther. It's not that it's a bad vehicle, Ford just priced most of their consumers out of the market for them plus dealers marking them up was a disaster.
No different than wrangler. I have a 21. Paid $47. That same model is roughly 53k. Willys model. Rubi is at least 60k. The stupid hybrids are 70ish! Good for Ford not doing a hybrid..
BS . The Bronco ride is way above average on and off road. The Engines are smooth and more than adequate. Just for your every recall you point out every other company has the same. I’ve owned 2 Mustang GT a Ranger F150 a baby Bronco my Daughter drives a black diamond Bronco and I now just bought a Bronco Outerbanks and have had zero problems. Btw the prices have dropped considerably. 5 people were purchasing them
Do not hold your breath, auto prices have never come down, always have increased each year. Unions require wages go up each year that cost goes to you the consumer. So sorry but I’m calling bullshit on this

Too expensive in the beginning and all the markups turned off potential buyers and now the hype is gone.
That’s a true assessment.

I didn't think they were expensive. I bought mine brand new in 2022 for $28,500. Just hit 30,000 miles and still runs like a dream.
Prices coming down. I will believe it when I see it

I do think supply has caught up with demand, or passed it. And that’s why we’re seeing the incentives come in.

Yeah the interior options aren’t great
I remember when people were offering $120k for the first editions
That was crazy
@@TheBronCast I should’ve sold when I had the chance but I don’t mind because it’s been a fun owning it
Great chat but let's not normalize those absurdly high prices.. The Raptor is easily $20k over priced for the vehicle type..

I have a 2dr as well, drive 99% of the time alone so the lack of 4drs doesn’t effect my lifestyle. Love it!
Have you seen the price on a v8 jeep? They are having trouble selling them. My local dealership has 13 Rubicon 392’s.

Love my 2023 2door Big Bend SAS with cloth interior..but I tell people to get the 4door😊. I ordered mine and got it for MSRP. Zero markup

MSRP down and if APR goes down, I’ll buy me another!!!
Haha!
Agreed , APR is ridiculous even with an excellent score. I remember having a good score actually meant something. nope!!!!!
I have thought of trading in my 17 Grand Cherokee SRT for a 2 door Sasquatch but I’m afraid of not having something quick.
no vehicles are selling well. typical days on the lot are 60-70. dodge just reported for a 1500 ram something like 200plus

If cylinder counts don't go up, forget it.
That’s what a lot of people are saying
Really wanted one BUT they are overpriced. The engine options suck. And they are marked up.
I’ll wait a few more years before I see the 2021’s in the price range I’m expecting them to be in…
Yep
I just can't afford a bronco even though I want one really bad. I believe a majority of "poor" sales is that exact problem.

Toyota rules,enough said.
I shitcanned the rear seats in my 2 door
Fords a hot mess with them prices.base model went from 29k to 39k in a couple years.
😂 If your wife had to cosign for you that is insane
I was going to buy one of these till i saw the turbo charged engines...No thanks
Yeah give me a V8
Good luck in the mountains without turbo.
I live in the mountains and have never owned a vehicle with a turbo charged engine, they have all done great especially the Coyote V8 with 395HP
They have been build these motors for 20 years
Jeep prices, as well as all new Trucks prices are crashing. They are way overpriced and spending has decreased. Inventories on lots are buldging.
