When using high temp gasket maker I always put a small bead (not too thick) around then finger tight the fasteners , then wait till silicone has set up ~24hrs and torque to spec. I prefer this way, because if you tighten it down right away with the gasket maker still soft, it will squish out, especially right around the bolts and you will have metal on metal contact.

Yep had to do it to my 18 Kr after dealer did it twice. They told me it wasnt leaking it was seeping. Oil dripping from bolts is not seeping. I drained it, cleaned it, siliconed, let silicone skin up finger tightened and sequentially torqued bolts in interval. Left it sit overnight to let silicone cure then filled it with oil. Test drove it no leak. Traded it. Now have a 2022 KR LB
