I have the DN glam palette but I bumped into these at Sephora yesterday and HAD to pick up "Danger Zone" -- the tones are my favorite and yet so difficult to find! I will pair it with ND chromatic or something else shimmery for the lid -- I rarely love a shimmer shade in a quad anyways tbh! Really happy to see the price under 30 for the quality! ❤
@@ShannonFord Yess!!! I have the opposite effect (I'm very pale with dark hair so somehow most things look smokey on me! LOL), but I really did find these easy! I only played briefly with them, but will try to give them a full focus today -- I do love the formula so far, they seemed to melt to the skin almost, instead of sitting heavily on top (I got a slight Charlotte Tilburry vibe from them) -- I hope that still stands after giving them another try and really hoping for a good wear time! I had a feeling Gwen wouldn't slap her name on something that wasn't good (was hopeful anyways!)! ❤ *Thinking of trying "Just a Girl" if they wear well!
@@angelacox96 the shimmers are ok. I like more of a punch but they are great for everyday. The mattes though are amazing. The all matter quad I think is a great one to have for a variety of transition shades
@@ShannonFord another thank you for these comparisons. I have Huda Beauty Haze Obsessions eyeshadow palette and enough brown and pink shadows from ND and others to recreate these looks if I wanted to. I absolute love your lipstick in this video. Thank you for letting us know how it compares to liquid lipstick.
Depends on what you like in regards to eyeshadows. The mattes are beautiful, blend very well. The shimmers are subtle. I like them, but I do prefer more of a punch. But they are great for everyday. I also love the packaging. Luxe feels without the price tag.
Has anyone found dupes for the Simple Kind of LIfe quad? They look fairly similar to the Stone Cold Fox or Gone Matte palette, but Im not sure I wanna pay $30 for 4 shadows. Plsu, its limited edition. I dont want to fall in love with it if I can never buy it again
I haven’t seen too many reviews on these. I don’t have the Colourpop mega palettes. I think if you have those 2, you don’t need these. I do think the GXVE matte formula is excellent though. The Shimmers could be better but I think they are meant to be more subtle.
@@ShannonFord You definitely could. I own the Bare Nescessties and Stone Cold Fox, currently. I recommend the "Makeup Just For Fun" channel. As she does a lot of CP comparisons with most of the big palettes they release. ruclips.net/video/9gbfDgBMQLU/видео.html&ab_channel=Makeup.Just.For.Fun
There is some Witchery around these formulas. It absolutely makes my eyes POP. I have color pop nude palettes and I’m still soooo happy I got the Simple Kind of Life yesterday.
Love, love your makeup and hair in this video 🤩
Thank you so much 😀
I have a separate beauty channel now called Shannon Loves Makeup
I know 🌸. I follow you there.
@@PanteraBagiraLady ah ok. And thank you. This one was one of my first makeup videos.
@@ShannonFord I’d never guess. You look gorgeous and come across relatable and confident.

I agree. The quality is great for the price. I also find Danger zone makes it easy to do a Smokey eye when usually find it hard

Thanks for your review, especially the comparison swatches--my wallet is relieved that I don't need to open it for this collection, lol!
Happy to help

@@ShannonFord Thank you so much, you've saved me money. I love eye palettes too much so Ive been trying to not buy much in that category.
@@taylorwilliams4179 LOL anytime. I don’t have any mega palettes. I feel like I could save money if I just got 4-5 of them and call it a day
