    Met her briefly in 2012 La Quinta CA at the Greg Lake ' Songs of a Life time tour. Greg realized what a talent she was and footed the bill for Rachel and her mother to stay at this resort. Rachel seemed like any other young girl. What is going on with her defies description on our current knowledge of human capabilities. Why is she gifted with these abilities and is this something we all can tap into?

    ok someone tell me...why aren't Rachel and Carl Palmer getting together and doing shows ???!!!! This is more ELP than what Carl's doing right now !!!

    • @bkpktrekker4086
      @bkpktrekker4086 Месяц назад

      Because Carl has his own band which has used his band mates to replace Keith with their guitar interpretations of his music. He'd be dumping them for Rachel after all these years.

    • @bkpktrekker4086

      @@bkpktrekker4086 well I KNOW he has a band, thanks very much but it's ALWAYS bugged me that the guitarist was trying to replace the keyboards, it's NEVER worked. And Rachels' like..right THERE...more Keith'd up than Keith was in his later years.

    • @bkpktrekker4086
      @bkpktrekker4086 Месяц назад

      @@EastmanD maybe Carl was trying to create something different out of respect for Keith, maybe he didn't want to replace him with another keyboardist. Of course if he wanted to do that he had his pick! I saw him a few times, no it didn't sound like Keith but I liked it, it was what he wanted to do, I appreciated that he way playing small clubs where I could stand 3 feet from his kit. It is working, he's been doing it for years around the world. He's having fun, I doubt he's doing it for the money.

    • @EastmanD
      @EastmanD Месяц назад

      @@bkpktrekker4086 Well I agree throwing up a Keith-sub probably wouldn’t have worked. Cause for the longest time his Moog sound was either avoided or not reproducible. Rachel is quite unique in many ways and would go over like gangbusters. Now one problem that might not be avoided is that Carl (however much I love him) has slowed down and whether Rachel would enjoy herself would be of concern. She possesses all the enthusiasm that the young ELP was known for. So the physical age gap might pose problems.

  • @nicodemuspapadopoulos4708

    • @nicodemuspapadopoulos4708
      @nicodemuspapadopoulos4708 Месяц назад

      @@DavidMichaelKalman I was speaking about the muted/cut off vocals, excessive and erratic effects (reverb/delay) on the vocals and unnecessary microphone feedback. That was due to the person behind the board. In fact, Rachel later raised her hand to indicate that vocals were coming up later in the song, since she probably thought that the singer had spaced out and had started to sing late in the song. Your videopersonship was fine. Thank you for making the video of the excellent performance. Please keep up the great work!
