Was never a college sport fan ever in my life till five or so years back when I met a dude from Hillsdale, Michigan. He was obviously a massive wolverines fan and got me into college sports. Every time Michigan would play id root for the opposing team just to mess with him and laugh when Michigan would win nine times outta ten. Four years ago, that friend of mine unexpectedly passed away. It hit me like a truck to say the least. Now i try to watch every game or at least keep up with the score of the wolverines just to never forget a damn good friend of mine. I dont have the same connection to the team as most fans, but i definitely shed a few tears when Michigan beat Ohio state, just knowing he'd be so ecstatic about the win. Go Blue! For You BG!

When I drove limo's I was assigned to Jim and later he requested me because we got into some deep discussions pertaining to the politics behind all the disadvantageous refereeing the Lions have been privy to for decades now and he agreed with me. All drivers are touched by whiff of schizophrenia but we also speak truth based on the info we digest and analyze throughout the day on sports radio. Jim placated me. Out of the thousands of clients I've driven I consider him and Elmore Leonard pure michigan royalty and will cherish those memories forever...

I remember watching as a kid in 1997 as Charles Woodson paraded around Michigan Stadium with a rose between his teeth. Michigan went on to beat Ryan Leaf and Washington State in the Rose Bowl. Since then, so much heartache. Lost 42-39 to Ohio in 2006, no. 1 v.s. no. 2, Appalachian State, Toledo, the Brady Hoke years, Iowa in '16, getting blown out by Ohio in '18 and '19. This was unreal. No one from the outside looking in will understand what it meant to beat the Buckeyes yesterday. Not just to beat them, but to destroy them. This was truly a gift from God to the fans, the university, the players, the former players, the coaches, and the great state of Michigan.

Couldn’t agree more! I’m from upstate NY and I’ve been a wolverine fan since I was a little kid. Dad and I went to the New York State high school playoff games years ago at the carrier dome in Syracuse. We walked in to Mike Hart busting loose for a 99 yard touch down run when he was in high school in Onondaga. He was the big news around the state as we don’t get much attention up here. His going to Michigan only intensified my loyalty to the wolverines. I’ve never teared up over a sporting event, but yesterday was the most magical and exhilarating thing I’ve ever experienced in sports. So proud of this program!

First year student here, lifelong fan. Waited my entire life to rush the field after a championship win over ohio state. And it happened in my first year as a student? Tears of joy. I saw so many people who felt the exact same way as I did on that field. GO BLUE!!!!

This video is enough to make a grown man cry. I'll still be talking about this game 50 years from now. This team engraved itself in Michigan history forever, and they are far from done. They're hungry, pissed off and have something to prove. From 2-4 last year , and not even playing Ohio, to beating them 42-27 to go 11-1, what a 180. The program, and Michigan fans all over needed this. GO BLUE.
The fact that this was after a loss to MSU is what makes it even more crazy. In the past Michigan crumbled after a loss like that. But these aren’t your average wolverines (as Gus Johnson would say.) These wolverines kept believing and battling. It was truly Michigan Vs everybody. And they made sure nobody could steal this game from them by dominating.
@@meyersmediafamily Exactly right. Losing to Sparty just didn't seem to phase this team though. They had a short memory week in week out and were tunnel visioned on the tasks ahead. This team was NOT going to lose yesterday, it just wasn't going to happen. McNamara kept his cool after the stupid interception he threw, the whole team just continued to ride with him and impose their will on the bucknuts. It was amazing to see how calm, collected, and prepared Michigan was. Michigan was in a zone and just the better team overall. Hell of a win. That was a performance like no other. I'd hate to be Iowa who has to play this team next week. Ordering a Hutchinson jersey soon, sad to see him go. He's a Wolverine at heart.
@@drewbellinger2828 i literally was laying head first into the ground when he threw that pick. I was like “it’s 16 and 18 all over again. We had all the momentum and lost it.” But then they went and held Ohio state to a field goal. That was huge.
@@meyersmediafamily The pick was bad but wasting that gifted field position was equally as bad. Had a few slow drives after that too if I remember correctly. Once Michigan got rolling though they put together some methodical drives. Can’t wait for next year already.

Coming back to this video right before the big game tomorrow. Tomorrow will be the First time in 16 years that both teams come into the game undefeated. As a Miami fan I certainly know how you guys feel. We had lost to FSU 7 times in a row from 2010-2016. Longest 7 years of my life. When we finally got over the hump and beat them in 2017, in the fashion that we did, it was like the world being lifted off your shoulders. Congratulations Michigan way to beat those nuts! @@eholden6510 the hell you talking about? In the 80s up to the mid 2000s Miami was consistently very good and had won multiple national championships. Their last one coming in 2001. FSU basically same story, just not as many championships. But hell, even they won one back in 16. Michigan's last one was 1997.

I’m a 49 year old Michigan Alum. Raised in Ann Arbor in 70’s and 80’s. Born at U of M Hospital. 26 games attended at the Big House. And this was the most electric scene I’ve ever watched in CFB. I was in tears seeing this. Folks this is what Michigan Football is all about. And thanks Jim and Dan in the booth. WHY NOT US? LETS GO BLUE!

I know! At first i was like “wait this is like 2019 when we scored first drive and Giles Jackson got a reverse.” But then moody made the extra point and i was like “okay we got this.”

There are few sorting moments that gave me chills just watching on TV, but when the Wolverines scored to go up by 2TDs, "The Victors" played , and the stadium went nuts, I got chills, all right. Was thinking: "They can't stop us, yes it's *happening!"* Go Blue!

As a Spartan fan, this game was incredible to watch. Those kids showed what happens when you want it more and you work your ass off to get it. 97 looked like a Bosa brother.
No matter what the question for one year, the answer should be ‘doesn’t matter, destroyed Ohio’. And Harbaugh should find a way to use only those uniforms for every home game forever. That’s the sickest look Michigan has.

I’ve never seen my Wolverines like this before in a LONG time. It makes me so happy that we have a shot at both the B1G Title and CFB playoffs. It feels almost surreal. It makes me feel so good seeing how dominant we were. If we play like this the rest of the season, we outta be National Champion contenders.

Congratulations Michigan on the best win of the season. As a Buckeye fan I believed this had to be the year. This season feels so much better than 2016. The Wolverines rose from the shadows to now one win away from a Playoff Berth. Through Rival Week, Blake Corum for his heart off the field gained my respect. Saturday, Aidan Hutchinson got my attention, my respect and curiosity of him being over Kayvon Thibodeaux as the No. 1 Pick of the 2022 NFL Draft. OSU grad here. I was at the game Saturday and that place was electric. I grew up in Columbus and went to my first Ohio State-Michigan game in 2002 when I was five years old. This one reminded me of that because I remember everyone talking about how you guys ALWAYS beat us in the 90s and that day we just wanted it more. You guys wanted this one more and deserved to win the game. Congrats, go bring home the big one.

I have an uncle who's a life long Michigan fan. Even though I was on vacation I gave him a call and sang the Michigan fight song for him. He told me he didnt sleep all saturday night from the excitement. A very impressive feat for a guy that can sleep anywhere haha

Not a college football fan but there is something special about a group of people coming together for a common goal, dealing with adversity, and finally achieving it. The way those young men beamed with pride was amazing.
Congrats to UM fans. Well deserved victory. You bullied us on both lines of scrimmage today. Hopefully, the juice that was at that game will make everyone in the country understand that football is played outside of the SEC. With all of the coaching changes in the SEC with no real top level options available and Lincoln Riley going to USC (reportedly), maybe the BIG10 can make some inroads on the SEC now that maybe UM and MSU have gotten there programs squared away. Lite I got to those players post game made me happy for them and I am a buckeye fan. Well done.

Honestly, need some big hires to happen on the other side of the conference. Unfortunately, UM MSU PSU and OSU beat the crap out of each other and it makes the big ten look bad because we all come out with losses. Need to figure out a way to split up those teams but still make the yearly games happen. Figure it out big ten!!!!
The last time I felt so happy about Michigan football was when we beat OSU in A2 several years ago. We rushed the field after the game; I'll never forget how special it was. I'm so happy for the fans and students who have never experienced an OSU win. There's nothing like it and they'll remember it forever.

I come back to this video periodically. I watched this game live with my father. We were screaming, cheering and all of the other things we do when we play Ohio State. When that final drive by Ohio State ended. We hugged and cried out of happiness.

I live on the East Coast so typically only get to see 1 maybe 2 games a season in person. Found out by chance I was actually at the first game they played this song at in 2016 against Wisconsin, obviously before the sing-along had started. Just bought it on iTunes today and working on learning the lyrics so I can join in next time I’m there

College football feels right when places like Michigan are doing great. Was so happy to see Michigan win this one finally. They met almost all the challenges and kept playing to win. That early interception, a couple of penalties, the near fight, and no one lost their cool. They took the lead and Michigan took it right back. I kept thinking "don't stop scoring, keep going after those points and don't settle." and then the defense just shut down almost everything. From a neutral perspective it was wonderful to watch. That game, that style of play is what I think of when I think of Michigan football. Good luck to you all in the Big Ten championship. From a Hokie fan.

The energy in the stadium was insane. A once in a lifetime (so far 😁) experience for me. I’m a diehard fan and got to experience this with my son, who I had while finishing my grad school at Michigan. He’s been a fan since day 1. My ride or die. I love this team so much!!!!!
