Also, if nothing illegal was committed then no one would have been fired. Also, never underestimate AI software with the info that stallions was gaining, its not perfect but eventually, as the game wears one, it only takes a couple big plays and scores to change the entire complexion of a game. In fact, don't they exchange all-22s? Analysts can then reverse-engineer the playbook. Isn't that happening already? Geebus, with all the AWS and next-gen stats, and whatever the hell, it's hard to believe the the head coaches don't have printouts of the opposing quarterback's blood work, and copies of the last 6 term papers he wrote in English Lit. @@ericwatson3490 again, you're being naive. You only listen to "they put forward the motions to remove the rule" without even considering the arguments brought forward at the time to why it wasn't. It has significant advantage sometimes, hardly none at other times. Consider a 1990s offense where the QB is almost always changing with a huddle. Vs a 2010 Oklahoma that was 99% warp speed snap every two seconds no time for huddles so we look for the quick sideline instruction quickly. But most teams are a blend of this, and depending on each person's experience with this, you often get those different answers even among the NFL players, hence why you can hear some saying "omg, it is nothing" vs others saying it isn't.
But here's the solid facts: most whi say it's nothing equate it to good people just reading signs in game and getting good at guessing, but not an entire 50 man operation to get fat better at that with the banned cameras and spies. The videotaping is like what the Astros did, perhaps worse. And we know it gave an advantage there, on a sport that relies far less on chess knowledge of opponent alignments.

This year 'The Game' has different meaning for both schools...
For Michigan it's pretty simple, you have to treat this as win or else. With who's missing and why for this game tomorrow, you cannot think that even IF everything breaks how you need it to next weekend that you're getting a spot in the Big School Invitational. Nah, that's probably not happening and I don't need some insider to tell me this. This is the ultimate 'All or Nothing' for the Wolverines.
For Ohio State, the conference really put this one on a tee for ya. No Harbaugh. Win and you're probably in the Big School Invitational cause what? Iowa's gonna go nuclear next weekend and break 20? This is the best opportunity that the Buckeyes have to stick it to That School Up North. IF for whatever the reason Ryan Day Cooper fails to win, he had best be prepared to live the next year out of boxes. Not beating Michigan is what got John Cooper ran. (Not winning bowl games too, but not beating Michigan is as fireable an offense as there is in Columbus.)
    Should be interesting tomorrow afternoon.

So your line of thinking as a Michigan fan is, if we had the signs the last few years, why would we have given up so many yards passing to Stroud and trailed the game against OSU at any point? How does that prove anything? You can cheat and still struggle, especially if you’re playing a better team. For the record, I can’t stand OSU or UM. But your line of reasoning is flawed. If Michigan cheated at all with advanced scouting and sign stealing, they should be punished. And if that helped on even one 3rd down stop, for example, against OSU in the game, that’s enough to turn momentum and be a contributing factor in the outcome.

Ryan Day wasn't spying for MI and this investigation will not bring about his demise in this sport. This investigation will much more likely cause a demise to the MI university. Why wouldn't other coaches in the Big 10, want to stop MI from gaining an unfair advantage? It's definitely not for lack of respect of their own players. That is some of the dumbest logic I've ever heard. Worry about your own fucking team, not the messenger, who is the Big 10, not OSU.
