Lore wise for mechanics, the emperor is the omnissiah (who is like the Jesus of the mechanicus). Some didn’t think he was during 30K but by 40K Emps = Omnissiah is the cannon belief. He is supposed to be the representative/incarnation of the Machine God (and I think the motive force is like the Holy Spirit of this obvious irl religion rip off lol)
That makes sense. Slightly on the heretical side, since most everyone in the Imperium believes that the Emperor is God, but it's the Mechanicus. Don't piss them off xD.
my top three 40k soundtracks go like this: 1. Darktide (captures the overall feel of the imperium from the grand and menacing inquisition to the sprawling hive cities of regular folk. and multiple tracks sound like something that could exist in-universe too) 2. Mechanicus (same as darktide but with the mechanicus + necrons, it’s just that darktide also has some pretty industrial tracks that are almost on par with mechanicus) 3. Dawn of War I & II (they’re just so good that I put them both in one spot)
10:08 That's Inquisitor: Martyr, an action-RPG (basically a Diablo clone). Not a bad game per se, but can be aggressively average at times. But hey, as noted by Mandy, you can also play as an AdMech inquisitor there, and I think there's an update coming that will allow you to play as a Sister of Battle.
This game is awesome! I had a lot of fun with it. What’s your favorite canticles? Mine are more cognition, more cognition, and more cognition. (Nah the last is max the machine spirit)
The game is incredibly fun. My current setup is +9 Cognition, +8 Damage, +10 Heal. Already have two tech priests who can just refill the cog gauge + another one who can cast a canticle for free, so we're never short on cog points. The +10 heal is also great for saving money. Never tried out the max machine spirit canticle though.
