Wow, I am envious for two reasons. One, I'd love to have your bourbon budget when I'm shopping. And two, there were at least a half dozen bottles that I've never even heard of before, let alone seen in WA state. Thanks, guys!
I would love to hear your tasting notes on the Masters Keep, Knob Creek 18, both Michter's, Old Hamer, maybe you could do a blind on the the top 4 of each haul. Trent, while you were in Kentucky you should have picked up some bottles from Bluegrass Distillers. I had a bottle of cask strength Blue Corn Bourbon, and loved it. Unfortunately it's not available in Ohio or Indiana yet. TonyB
You guys do such a great job with this channel. What a joy it must be to create something like this together, father and son. Really good stuff. And Trenton, you are da man!
Agreed. Loved the solo videos as Kurt does a great job. However, really enjoyed the transition to Trenton also being behind the bar. Great interaction and dynamic between you two. You actually have a bit of a comedy "note" that comes off based on family dynamic. Really enjoy the channel.
I'd love to hear your take on Knob Creek 18 yr. I know Trenton isn't a big fan of Beam products but I personally am a huge fan of the single barrel store picks and the 12 yr.
Happy Birthday Trent! Agree with others that blinds of related picks on bar would be both informative and fun. Especially to such rookies as my wife and I. Also helps with recommendations for family members looking to get gifts for the dad who has everything according to them!😊
Eagle Rare at $29 is a dream of mine. Only last week was I able to find it for the low low price of $39.95 here in Georgia (I bought 6). Over the last 2 years on the rare occasions when I could find it, it was priced at $49.95.
I’ve been fortunate to pick up all those allocated bottles and have tried them all with the exception of the Masters Keep which I picked up this morning. Gotta say that Knob Creek 18 is absolutely delicious and probably my favorite between the two Michters and the Willett which are all excellent pours. Looking forward to cracking the WT MK soon. Enjoy!
Went to a local store and finally found buffalo trace and early times bottled in bond. Excited to try these out since I've seen that you guys have recommended these. Thanks for the great content. Love the dynamic with you and Trenton. Glad he decided to get in front of the camera
Hi Kurt. Loving to watch the SLB show here from Brazil. I have learned a lot from you. It is a shame that we have got only a few options of bourbons available around here! Great show though! 5 stars
Definitely would watch a Knob 12 v 15 v 18 shootout. Also interested in that Michters Toasted, not that I’ll ever see any of it all the way out here in Oregon.
Love watching you guys! I’m in my early 30s and my father is mid 60s so it reminds me of my father and I when we get together and enjoy a few pours together. As an avid bourbon hunter in the most impossible state of Wisconsin I enjoyed this video quite a bit! I hope you do one of these every month moving forward! Cheers Keep the content coming gentlemen!
I love the barrel rested gin that is produced by a little distillery here in NY. Give a great twist on even the simplest gin and tonic. That Basil is a super drinkable and I picked up great fruit notes on the tongue from the red wine. I didn't notice red wine much on the nose.
I got into whiskey about a year ago. I figured out pretty quickly I prefer scotch over bourbon and for some reason I made it my mission to find a bottle of blue label. It took me 8 months but I did find one. I live in Alabama and I’ve learned our alcohol laws suck so it’s hard for me to find good bottles without paying way over what I should
I know of Whiskey row, they do a good job with the hauls. A couple of smaller channels I check out do as well. Every day drinking and your drinking buddy.
I love Trenton’s haul…good job! 😊 It’s ok Kurt, yours were really good too but never heard of some of them. Trenton really got me going with the Eagle Rare! Would love to have everyone of those bottles! 🥃
I love when I travel to see what you can hunt down. Indiana fills some of the blanks that Ohio has but the area down around Cincinnati has a great selection both on the Ohio side and Kentucky. Nice hauls guys!
Kurt, there is a wonderful barrel aged Gin at a distillery I frequent often for work in New Mexico. It's called Left Turn Distillery and is called "Conversionist Barrel Reserve Old Tom Gin." If you can come across one try and get one. Or I can try and grab one the next time I am there.
Excellent show, you two have really offered some great advice and aided my selection of whiskey in my cigar room; I would like to get your advice on the Michter's selections.
Love this channel. Don’t love store hauls. Never watch those on other channels. Comes across as bragging, despite best intentions. Much love to you guys. Keep up the good work.
Bluecoat from Philadelphia makes a great barreled gin. It's an American style dry which is a little lighter on the juniper and then aged in oak for a year. It's great in everything from a gin and tonic to a bee's knees. The barrel aging compliments the lemon in cocktails. The other great barreled gin is Fords Officers Reserve. This is a navy strength gin aged in sherry casks. While the overproof of many navy strength gins can be too intense the barreling cuts through and mellows this gin. Be careful since it can be dangerous because it's very easy to drink. I'd love to see a gin video one day. I can see a bottle of Malfy and what I think is Hayman behind you. There is more in that basement bourbon bar that just whiskey.
got the wild turkey masters keep and 2 bottles of Kentucky spirit today. also got the Willett and michters toasted sour mash recently. a bombergers followed me home about a month ago 🤣
Fun Episode.. Cheers!! Great bottles but also fun to watch each others reactions! I have a Spirits of French Lick LEE W. SINCLAIR Four Grain Bourbon Store Pick 4 year 107 proof, Barrel 687. Total Oatmeal Cookie on a glass!! It is a great find at $50.
I'm new to the channel (love it), and would be interested in a tasting of the different basil haydens. The standard is one of my favorite mid-level bourbons, and I greatly enjoy the dark rye but I haven't had the other ones, much like the one on the far left in this video
I just missed out on the 18 knob creek a couple days ago here in AZ. I did try the new Masters Keep at a place called Pitch here in AZ. It was worth the $25 pour. Cherry bomb.
So I just had an idea for the channel. Hopefully you guys see this and even the other commenters see this and give their feedback. Kurt gets a cameraman, Trenton gets a cameraman. Both of you do store hauls based on a particular theme. A third party blind tests the picks you each made to decide who picked better. Of course feature the friends of the family, but maybe also invite fellow bourbon RUclipsrs to fly in and be special guest judge on occasions like milestone episodes (25th, 50th episode, etc.) or have them come in a week or two before for a holiday episode. Maybe throw in some confessional segments like you see on reality TV. Barstool does a great job doing a parody of it where it's entertaining and satirical. I could see that for you guys! Even bring in the other family members for a one-liner every now and then 😂 I'd call it Bourbon Ballyhoo. Very confident it'd make waves, especially when you incorporate other channels into it. The promotion would basically pay for itself. For example: You guys and the Bourbon Junkies joining forces? We'd ALL love to see that
How did he get Weller and eagle rare I live here in Cincinnati moving that to the side I like to see a distillery review of Basil Hayden by you SLB drinks.
Nice haul gentlemen. One perk of working where I do is the ability to get the pick of litter. This week's find was Elijah Craig 18 year. I haven't tried it yet. Waiting for the special moment. The Old Overholt is on the shelf here. Worth the money?
Totally looking forward to the Russells Rickhouse! They only made what, like 70 barrels? I've watched a few reviews and all of them were quite impressive.
I think you guys will like the Ryes...The Whisky Tribe guys love Del Bac...but then they are Scotch guys. I'm w/Trent on this. I don't mind the occasional smoky scotch but its just not something I seek out. Enjoy ! As a Knob Creek fan would love to hear about the 18 yr.
Michters is my favorite, would love to see a review about either or both! That 10 year is a unicorn for me. I have a W12 with Trenton’s name on it if he ever decides he doesn’t want that M10 😂
Incredible haul. Crazy awesome. I was able to get my hands on the knob 18. I'm a sucker for knob so couldn't pass it up. Any plans for any type of review for it?
Nice picks gentlemen! I really want to find that Knob Creek 18 yr. and the Master's Keep. I'd like to see your review on the Master's Keep for sure. Stay safe, gents., Your neighbor here in Porter County!
would be interested in two videos based on what you got, (1) unless i've missed it I would like to see a master's keep video, seems like you have alot of them and I don't think it's usually in any of the videos. From most reviews it seems people tend to be disappointed in master's keep releases and always state just get russell's store picks instead. (2) I have seen very little knob creek (if any) in your videos, i would like to see if you would compare rate KC9, KC12, KC15 (if you have these), KC 120proof store pick and now your KC 18 year. Personally KC store picks are some of my favorites, but I am always curious if the KC12/15/18 hold up since they are lower proof at 100 instead of 120.
All great ideas thank you! In general I really do like the Masters Keep releases. The 17 yr and bib are my favorites. I say that and we did a MK blind during a live show and Decades won 😂
Old overholt 114 was a pa and Ohio exclusive it's outstanding. It was recently on clearance here in pa for like 18 bucks. I bunkers bottles at that price
Curious, as a Indiana native myself, how do you know when and if certain allocations are coming to your state? It's so dang hard to find anything good here
My best single day haul was a michters 2021 10 year bourbon, stagg jr batch 16, Hancock’s reserve, 1792 full proof, and widow Jane 15 year. I did find my first van winkle product today though so I’m pretty happy about that.
For the harder to find bottles, do you get them from smaller mom and pop types of locations or big chain stores? Houston's market is harder to come across some of them. I've been trying to get the Kc15 but no luck.
Trent has great relationships with a couple of our store owners so he will get a heads up when something good is coming in. These are smaller shops that I am referring to. We do have a couple Wiseguys which are bigger chains but they save their allocateds and such for lottery drawings.
Good luck on the Single Rickhouse Russell's Reserve. It was only released in like 5 states. Also Jason from Mash and Drum did a review if you haven't seen it yet. Aside from the rarity of the bottle doesn't sound like its worth the price. Said he liked RR13 more.
We need more bourbon hunting videos like this! This is awesome 👏
I would love an entire Michters line up video
I agree.
Absolutely 💯🖤🤙🏽
Yes please. I love michter’s and would love to know their thoughts on some of the different bottles.
Wasn’t a fan of the sour mash, only sour mash I’ve had. Would be interested to hear your thoughts. I love rye’s so would enjoy a straight rye review.
Agreed. Some folks suggest there's a lot of hype---would like to know whether that's the case.
Wow, I am envious for two reasons. One, I'd love to have your bourbon budget when I'm shopping. And two, there were at least a half dozen bottles that I've never even heard of before, let alone seen in WA state. Thanks, guys!
I work at a liquor store in Tucson Arizona and I am stoked that you mentioned Del Bac !!!!
Definitely interested in seeing future shows about every bottle Trenton had, on his side of the table.
Kurt looking at the masters keep reminded me of when I give my dad a gift that he loves but totally didn't expect.
He definitely couldn't hide his excitement.
You're clearly a good and loving son!
Yes he is!
Thx guys! Pls review the Masters Keep & Knob Creek 18 soon!
He is!!
Agreed. Loved the solo videos as Kurt does a great job. However, really enjoyed the transition to Trenton also being behind the bar. Great interaction and dynamic between you two. You actually have a bit of a comedy "note" that comes off based on family dynamic. Really enjoy the channel.

40.00 is still a good price!

Gotta say that Knob Creek 18 is absolutely delicious and probably my favorite between the two Michters and the Willett which are all excellent pours. Looking forward to cracking the WT MK soon. Enjoy them all my friend and congratulations!
Went to a local store and finally found buffalo trace and early times bottled in bond. Excited to try these out since I've seen that you guys have recommended these. Thanks for the great content. Love the dynamic with you and Trenton. Glad he decided to get in front of the camera
Both are great, and you can't beat the price
I'd love to see a review of the Knob Creek 18 compared to the 15 and 12.
For me it’s 12 CS > 12 > 18 > 15
Hi Kurt. Loving to watch the SLB show here from Brazil. I have learned a lot from you. It is a shame that we have got only a few options of bourbons available around here! Great show though! 5 stars
Thanks my friend! All the best in Brazil!
Definitely would watch a Knob 12 v 15 v 18 shootout. Also interested in that Michters Toasted, not that I’ll ever see any of it all the way out here in Oregon.
I am interested in that KC 18. I worry that 18 is too many years in the barrel. But KC 12 is so so good.
Wellers Special Reserve 90 bucks, ER 60 bucks here in NYC. Love the channel cheers.
Cheers

I love Trenton’s haul…good job! 😊
It’s ok Kurt, yours were really good too but never heard of some of them.
Trenton really got me going with the Eagle Rare!
Would love to have everyone of those bottles! 🥃
He knows how to sniff out the good ones!
You not knowing them doesn't mean they aren't delicious. Broaden your horizons.
I love when I travel to see what you can hunt down. Indiana fills some of the blanks that Ohio has but the area down around Cincinnati has a great selection both on the Ohio side and Kentucky. Nice hauls guys!
Awesome video, love the store haul! Also love Trent getting in on the videos now.
I really enjoyed this show. Would definitely like to see reviews on the Knob Creek and the Masters Keep.
I agree with the comment below about a Michters line up video. Also would like to hear more about the knob creek & Basil Hayden.
I have a finishing cask my wife got me, and I barrel aged a port, then buffalo trace, then a gin, and its amazing....
Wow that all sounds delicious!
Great show again! Love the store pick idea! Please review the Knob Creek and it’s price please!
Also I would like to see all Trenton bottle shows. Just wounderful picks. I want sip as well :) Hard to beat.
Love the shout-out for the French lick. I love that pour.
We definitely need reviews on the last 5! Nice pick ups from both of you. The Hamer CS is a staple in my house.
Would definitely like the Knob Creek 18 as well as the wheated Willett purple top.
Thanks for the recommendation!
For relatively low proof Shenks really impressed me.
great haul. I am also hunting for the Masters Keep. Congratulations. cheers.
Excellent show, you two have really offered some great advice and aided my selection of whiskey in my cigar room; I would like to get your advice on the Michter's selections.
Thank you!
Love this channel. Don’t love store hauls. Never watch those on other channels. Comes across as bragging, despite best intentions. Much love to you guys. Keep up the good work.
I would agree. That’s the exact reason we haven’t done them thus far.
Bluecoat from Philadelphia makes a great barreled gin. It's an American style dry which is a little lighter on the juniper and then aged in oak for a year. You got that right! I appreciate the gin recommendations! Fords sounds amazing to tell you the truth!
Glad to see I’m not the only one buying multiple new bottles a month lol
I live in Az & really enjoy the Del Bac, Dorado smokey mesquite good stuff.
Impressive haul!!
Trent is droppin' some cash!
I visit Scottsdale every so often. Hopefully I will see you at some point!
I'd love to see you review the Knob Creek 18 year.
got the wild turkey masters keep and 2 bottles of Kentucky spirit today. also got the Willett and michters toasted sour mash recently. a bombergers followed me home about a month ago 🤣
You da man Joey! Enjoy!
Would love to see a review on the toasted sour mash. Probably the closest I’ll get to trying one up here in Chicago lol
I really like it as well and agree with your tasting notes!

All great ideas! See what we can do!
Here in NY/NJ, we can get most or a lot of choices but it always costs an Arm and a Leg!
Toasted Sour Mash, Willett and the 18yo KC....and HELL yes the Master's Keep !!!
Great haul guys. Always enjoy the variety you feature but even more your down to earth demeanor.
Great stuff guys, love to see a run of the Basil Hayden products in a video
How did he get Weller and eagle rare I live here in Cincinnati moving that to the side I like to see a distillery review of Basil Hayden by you SLB drinks.
Happy Birthday, Trent. I hope you're celebrating with a great pie and bourbon pairing. 🥧🥃
😂😂😂
Damn Nice Haul you guys! I'm tuning in for the Masters Keep and the KC18 reviews.
Nice! Love to see KC 18yr, Masters Keep, and Old Hamer reviewed!
Nice haul gentlemen. One perk of working where I do is the ability to get the pick of litter. This week's find was Elijah Craig 18 year. I haven't tried it yet. Waiting for the special moment. The Old Overholt is on the shelf here. Worth the money?
I have only had one pour so far John in KY but did like it a lot. Need to get a few more sips in me for final answer lol!
Definitely interested in that Michter's Toasted!
I'd love to see reviews of the Master's Keep and Knob Creek 18-year-old. Keep up the great work!
Kurt had that glazed look over that masters keep! Love it!
Totally looking forward to the Russells Rickhouse! They only made what, like 70 barrels? I've watched a few reviews and all of them were quite impressive.
The Barrel Vantage is very nice. One of my go to's.
I have a 2022 bombergers that’s been opened for about 2 weeks that you guys can take a pour out of if you wanted to try it.
Appreciate your generosity! I do have some left from last year. That one was pretty good!
Love to hear your thoughts on the Mitchers
I think you guys will like the Ryes...The Whisky Tribe guys love Del Bac...but then they are Scotch guys. I'm w/Trent on this. I don't mind the occasional smoky scotch but its just not something I seek out. Enjoy !
As a Knob Creek fan would love to hear about the 18 yr.
I love the Shenks! Got lucky last year and found one in NC for $90 but worth it in my opinion. Love your channel!
Can’t wait to try it!
Not yet but I am sure we will think of something! Glad you were able to get one!
Fantastic finds guys!!!!
Cool video. So many bottles up there I wish I could score at msrp. I'm like Kurt, any bottle I get under $60 I will try it that day 😄
Great finds guys!
Wow what a haul!!!
Kurt quote, "Whoo! Whoo! Whoo!" Love it!
Thoughts on the Weller SR I found one. Mixed it with 107 not bad. Thx and cheers.
Sounds great!
I loved how Kurt's eyes lit up on that special Wild Turkey bottle lmao!!!!
Love the show. Congrats on the HAUL. Would love to a review on the Knob Creek 18. Cheers!
Nice picks gentlemen! I really want to find that Knob Creek 18 yr. and the Master's Keep. I'd like to see your review on the Master's Keep for sure. Stay safe, gents., Your neighbor here in Porter County!
Alright! PC!!
Great vid again, guys !
I'd be interested in a review about the Basil Hayden Red Wine Cask Finish.
would be interested in two videos based on what you got, (1) unless i've missed it I would like to see a master's keep video, seems like you have alot of them and I don't think it's usually in any of the videos.
@@slbdrinks thanks! Btw if you need samples of KC store pick, KC12 or 15 I’m happy to send both for a review to go along with your KC18!
I appreciate the generosity but I believe we have all the KC. I have a Longhorn store pick I love!
I haven’t seen a single review on the Shenks, so I hope you’ll review it. I just got a Shenks and a Bombergers today
Complete Michters review coming up this week or next week at the very latest!
I see that Old Overholt at my local Krogers in Southern Ohio all the time. Always passed on it because I’m pickier on what Rye’s I like.
I live in Ohio. Had to wait in line the other day for Eagle Rare and Blantons. Seems to be more available in Cincy area rather than Cleveland area.
Old overholt 114 was a pa and Ohio exclusive it's outstanding. It was recently on clearance here in pa for like 18 bucks. I bunkers bottles at that price
Great bottles guys. Cheers. Keep it up!🥃
Would love to see review of Masters Keep and KC18. It would be good to compare KC18 against KC15 and KC12 also.
Curious, as a Indiana native myself, how do you know when and if certain allocations are coming to your state? It's so dang hard to find anything good here
In the fall or allocated season Trent visits our stores most every day. With that being said he has become friends with a lot of the owners as well.
Great haul! Ill just be content with my ecbp. I thought turkey 12 was a international release. I would love to be wrong though!
I am waiting for that ECBP C922 as well!
Purple top willet is amazing
GREAT Picks this week!!!!!
My best single day haul was a michters 2021 10 year bourbon, stagg jr batch 16, Hancock’s reserve, 1792 full proof, and widow Jane 15 year. I did find my first van winkle product today though so I’m pretty happy about that.
Nice!
Definitely would like a review on the Knob Creek…. It’s $239 in SC
No idea what he pd but will find out soon!
Man you gents have a serious collection. Wow!
Much appreciated!
This video gave me the biggest Fomo. Tried my buds 10 year michters and been hunting for the rye! Good finds guys!
Nice haul guys
Would love to the see KC18 reviewed! Congrats on getting it
Great haul, gents. I’d love to see a Michter’s review video. The 10 year rye and Toasted Sour Mash are on my list and hoping I can get one/both.
Looking forward to review of Masters Keep and KC 18
Good luck on the Single Rickhouse Russell's Reserve. It was only released in like 5 states. Also Jason from Mash and Drum did a review if you haven't seen it yet. Aside from the rarity of the bottle doesn't sound like its worth the price. Said he liked RR13 more.
