A brief description on how the Oz Tuning Omega tune, designed by Ken Osborne works. Excerpts taken from a recent video. @oztuned #OzTuned #OmegaTune #OzTuning
No, not for a daily. The IMRC's help with smooth idle, low part throttle, and can help retain fuel economy. Really no reason to delete them unless your shaving off weight or have forced induction.
i have a 2014 f150 5.0 when i purchase this tune will i need to update it when i get longtube stainless headers on the truck or will it be best for the headers first then the tune?
Yes, and yes. You won't see the gains like you would with higher octane fuel, but will still benefit with our tune. Visit our website OzTuning.com for more info.
For a CAI, only if you have a 11-14 truck and install a tune required intake like a JLT or PMAS, then yes you need a Re-tune. Also, you would need a Re-tune for regearing. Best to reach us directly by email for tune support or questions though if you have any more questions.
Do you know the specific octane number that will produce MBT for our Omega tuned, naturally aspirated 5.0’s? I was curious if a 50/50 blend of 87 octane and E85 will produce the same power (MBT) as a 50/50 blend of 93 octane and E85? I’ve been running a 50/50 blend of 93 and E85, but I’m not sure if I’m wasting my money blending 93 octane with E85, instead of blending the less expensive 87 octane with E85.
All Omega tunes, since the very beginning, have always functioned this way. This isn't new information. It's been on our website on every product page for all Omega tunes, and the information is also included in the emails that we send with the tune.
I am seriously considering buying your stage 3 package for my 19 F150 5.0. Only thing I need to know is any estimate as far as horsepower on e85
I am considering buying your f150 gt intake manifold cai tune kit. This is a daily driver. Would you delete the imrc?

So you his will work on my 22 5.0 regardless what type of fuel I use even if it’s 87?
And do you ship to Canada?
Yes, and yes. You won't see the gains like you would with higher octane fuel, but will still benefit with our tune. Visit our website OzTuning.com for more info.
And no more cylinders deactivation?
Thanks
Would this work for the ecoboost 3.5 or the 2.7... also as I use 91 most of the time but I toss in 87 every once in awhile
will this tune also remove the limiter ?
Do I need to retune if going from stock to a cold air intake? How about if regearing?

Around E30
Does the omega x tune function the same for the 2018-2020 F-150 5.0 in terms of how it is reading fuel octane in real time?

@@oztuned thanks
do i need a retune if i got the omega tune when my truck was stock and it now has a 18+ GT manifold? or will the omega tune adjust for it?
That upgrade requires a tune update. Here is the link to purchase a Re-tune for that oztuning.com/product/oz-tuning-re-tune/
Sub'd to your channel I just ordered the 18+ GT manifold, how do you like it?
Will you tune powerboost?
Sorry. No plans for that right now.
