Appreciate the love fellas! Keep up the great work. Videos are becoming better and better with each upload. 👊
Thanks Ken! You're the man!
Ken is the fucking man when it comes to these engines
Oz is the man. I'm gonna be ordering my Whipple from him with his tunes. 1000% trust him.
Seen some nasty videos of oz tuned 5.0s. They definitely got it dialed in 🤙 make sure to do a towing update on that camping trip 😅
Have oz tuning on my 17 works great . Nice street driver , firm shifts 👍🏻
Ken is the man w 150s. Especially street guys.
Oz has fixed the stalling at lights. Has happened with tunes from a few other big name shops and even the factory whipple tune. Some thought it was injector, but people have issues with FIC, ID 1050x, etc
I was talking about this the other day on a FB group. You're right, it doesn't seem to be hardware specific.
So Glad to see you guys back, and seeing the Hammer again.
Thx for all the very valuable information. You dropped a fortune on finding out what works and what doesn't. Wish Oz made a tune for the 3.5's. I've balked on these tunes that require climbing under the hood to make plug change outs to change the tune even if they work fine. But now you're saying there's problems with some of these companies on burning out plugs etc.
Can't beat Ken@Oz Tuning with HP Tuners and Scott Richardson built 10r80
Hammer is back .Bad ass .
welcome back
and glad Oz is turned your monster
Thanks for figuring it all out for us
Good to see you again guys
Peace ✌🏻
Great to see both of you back at it !!
Good to see you guys are back!
You guys do the stuff id like to think id do if i had the cash flow. Thx for sharing, and im happy your 3rd engine is a winner.
Good luck with new set up
Thanks for all the info and for being the F150/Whipple guinea pig for many others, I'm sure!
Glad to see this truck back from the grace. Ya need to call out Jason Tank Myers and race the Red Rocket. He claims to be the world’s fastest powerboost.
Yeahh boy glad to see another vid
Ken does a great job. Unfortunately I too wasted hard earned monies on another tuning company that just kept stringing me along. 0:00 Glad your truck is working well. It seems the road to perfection is long and winding and filled with shelves of parts that didnt work lol
Welcome back boys
Love the update.
Nice truck man. With as much as you’ve spent, you probably could have gotten a Raptor.
Been watching you since you got it only reason i joined channel the tim i bought my 2021xlt 302a
Let’s go!
Well lets get a 10k mile update.. then wecan say its tuned properly.
But what did it dyno?
No need to dyno with remote tuning, dyno numbers don't mean as much as e.t./trap speed
@@prn1972 That is very true. I use to drag race and still do sometimes. Dyno is a tuning tool for the most part
My truck build is very similar yours, I wanted your opinion on your exhaust and suspension. Would you do them both the same way, or are you looking to change anything? My suspension is stock right now so Im debating. I have the LTH catless long tubes ready to go on but don’t want it too crazy loud and your exhaust seems great on video. How loud is it 1-10?
Who is a good tuner for the 3.5 Powerboost?
need a lund tune!! Top dogs of the coyote tuning game. so many f150s in 8s and 9s on stock sealed motors. factory ecu in mustangs into the 6s and stock sealed coyote mustangs 7s they hold all the 1/4 mile records.. and yes those are all 1/4 mile times
Need to do a driving video
That very video goes live Tuesday. Filmed it today.
@@BackroadDriver awesome looking forward to watching it
What about us who have only cold air
OZ recommended?
If you have a v8 you should get the Oz tune. Everything about how your truck runs and shifts will improve.
8 & 1 !?!?!!?? the motor mounts twisted the block, time to go to a plate & get rid of those motor mounts, maybe? The alloy used in reg coyotes 1-4 non voodoo & non pred use a flexible alloy comp for the blocks & the mtr mounts are mounted directly to the cylinders
I got a livernois tuner almost 2 months ago... I wish I could get a refund and go with a Lund LRX. Bad cable out of the box that took a week to diagnose, then a couple more days to get cable. Have another cable going bad. Now I have 2 questions in the support system, one over a week old with no response whatsoever.
Hit up Kris at Preaux Tuning and never look back
Thats too bad that Oz doesnt do 3.5 tunes. Who do yall recommend for the 3.5? Livernois?
Kris at Preaux Tuning
To run catless, what 02 sensors you running, and did OZ tuning just tune the codes out so it will run right? I think that’s what’s going on with mine, running too rich and sputtering sometimes, running catless but haven’t found a tuner in my area to check
I'm running the factory sensors and no defoulers. Yes, I have the codes but it does not affect anything. These 21 and up trucks run better with the codes on then trying to cover them up. They shouldn't be turned off by a tuner because it causes other issues. 21 and up there is more going on with the closed loop system and sensors than on 2020 and below trucks. Ken has seen a ton of issues with people trying to run defoulers. And yes this information is directly from him.
How’s the trans holding up still shifting hard?
Shifts are much better. You want the shifts to be crisp and not have lag. The mushier your shifts are the more you're using your clutch packs instead of engaging the next gear and causing wear to your steels and clutches. It's a fine line. They don't need to be too harsh but factory shifts are very smooth by design but they use the clutches and steels a whole lot more than a proper shift.
Did the Y-pipe require defoulers to not throw a code for the cats?
You will need defoulers to clear the codes. I'm not running any though. The codes don't affect the performance of the truck.
Did you ever put Steel braided brake libre on this truck? Waiting to do mine. It was worth it on my motorcycle, hope it will be on my truck too. What about rear brakes?
I never did brake lines. Thought about it but I have no issues with how it feels currently. A bit firmer pedal might be nice but I don't need it really. I guess they are still on my short list though.
@BackroadDriver Thanks for your input. I bought the same brake kit you guys did. I like it but it puts out a lot of brake dust and I was hoping for a firmer pedal feel. I bought a brake line kit from Rotora, they make a rear brake, 6 piston, 16 inch rotor kit for the electric parking brakes.
Who tuned it prior??
Livernois
Palm Beach dyno has good coyote tuning
Lund is the only option.
@@169abr I have 5 star tuniing with no regrets
I hate cylinder deactivation system that y your truck engine 5.0 blower up junk engine I have a 2023 5.0 xlt I hate what ford did. I will never bye a eco boast engine.
