First smart thing they did is take the Budweiser affiliation down from the signage. That probably helped increased revenue 20% given the location and customer base. Basic motorcycle repairs, tubes, tires, etc Smart. They would probably kill it if they spent $20K on a Food Trailer or Truck and sold Streat Tacos, Hamburgers & Beer during bike week. That alone would be enough revenue to live off for the year.
honestly I thought the yellow was eye catching and the inside before shot was better for sure, overall it reminds me of the old fun 1980s McDonalds and the new boring modern ones
What's even more amazing to myself is this is exactly what I visioned my dream shop would look like cause I wanted to sell gasoline and everything to do with automobiles including full service gas pumps like it was when I was a kid and a teenager. When they first turned a service station that I lied about my age to work at into a quik mart and pump your own gas it was like the worst thing that could have happened cause at least 5 or 6 of us lost our job. I wanted to bring the full service gas part of it back but I never got that chance to do it cause banks don't trust people and I always thought that's what banks were for but nope. Not in my world..
This is very entertaining but i was thinking any bank will give you a business loan for 300k easily, my question is why go through rich instead of a bank, a bank will work with you if you falling behind, private loan will take your business..
Bank isn't going to help you with the things Rich and the two other guys did. Like Rich covers marketing and knowing the vehicle business. He made Gas Monkey a big brand and does a lot of merch sales and knows how to make consistent money with repairs and actually garage work. The two other guys do the contracting and the interior/exterior work of the building to make sure it's set up right to make money and get things done efficiently. If they would have just a loan from the bank they would have to figure it all out on their own like finding a good contractor and designing everything themselves and figuring out what tools and equipment they needed, how to market correctly. Seeing they were already in trouble probably wouldn't have worked out well and then they could have had debt already and bank may not have even give them a loan. Also I believe Rich and them get some of the equipment for free from brands as a ad placement on the show which probably helps save a lot of money in getting it actually done. Also Bank may "help" but if you miss to many payments their going to take the business anyway too.

The bank probably won’t have his expertise or contacts
