Father-inlaw had a Pagoda Green 64½ 289/271 Convertible. I was a Camaro guy then and when I was dating his daughter (Now wife) he wanted me to work on it due to a misfire. One thing that caught my attention was the Rally Pack and Pony Interior, which I had never seen in a 64½. He said he had ordered it thru the Ford PDC when it was on Beltline Rd in Carrollton Texas. He retired from Ford in 1998. He sold the car to another Ford PDC employee in Carrollton TX, where he was the Traffic Manager. I always wondered what happened after the car was sold. It had so many rare options.

On our way to the 1964 Worlds Fair in late June 64 we went by my uncle's in Cleveland. He was a wheel at the casting plant (retired as VP). He had a week old Mustang hardtop with rally pack and pony interior. He paid $989 - cost plus 10% a special deal that the upper management got on a car every 2 years. After he retired he had a Lincoln for $135 a month insurance and maint included with a replacement every 20,000 miles. Rank has its privileges.

The closest thing I have to a 67 mustang is a 67 ford galaxie 500, they share the same drivetrain but mine is supposed to be a luxury car.
    It kinda hurts.
Cause my car was supposed to come with power windows, a built in clock, cruise control, air conditioning (allegedly),
An automatic transmission and power steering.
My car only has the last 2

A rip off would be if they gave her counterfeit bills. She asked for 60K and they gave her 60K. If she wanted more money, she should have done more research and and brought it to Mecum or Barret Jackson with a reserve. Then she would have found out what it's actually worth.

A lot of older people have money and are not too concerned with a high resale value of their property and just want a quick sale as she did say she would be moving soon.
