It's felt like forever, but it's actually only been 10 months since I placed the deposit for my new Porsche 911 GT3. After a few delayed with production the car has finally arrived and so I head down to Porsche Guildford to collect it!

There is a reason you've never seen such a spec before......it looks awful. It's a spec designed by someone with no style trying to do something different based on tenuous reasons like heritage or current styles (like the silver wheels, etc)
@@blackporscheroadster6415 Each to their own. He didn't do it because this is the current trend, but because he wanted it that way. Why would a light metallic green, that has a great history be awful? Or even silver wheels? The material used on the seats are also historically inspired and were used through the 70's and 80's. His spec is creative and tasteful.

Congratulations on everything Sam! The best-looking GT3 I've ever seen! With a beautiful interior spec nice throwback. I remember seeing a ice blue silver Turbo in the 80s at Porsche in Santa Monica CA. It had that plaid interior but in black and white like your color, but in that plaid that they had back in the day. It was the second turbo I ever saw but the first one close up.
I'm also with you Sam on clear glass and carbon fibre trims. Truly a classy spec, I hope to see many of your videos with the GT3!

I love the colour, its so tastefully specced, almost as if it was a GT3 touring with that classy green and the checkerboard seat inserts + manual trans. Especially love how the green turns almost silver when a focused beam of light hits it. I LOVE IT. CONGRATULATIONS!!

I wasn’t sure about the colour choice, and I kinda stood by it through the indoor shots, but I take that back, it really pops in the outdoor driving shots! Only thing I’d probably change is have the wheels in Porsche Neodyme. Hope they remembered to give you the tyre valve caps!
It's an amazing spec as it is but I fully agree with you. Neodyme wheels would make this car straight up filth...

Looks absolutely stunning! I think the yellow calipers look great. They are a nice break to the otherwise gentlemanspeced outside. Can´t wait for the uppcoming content!
I had red calipers with red seat belts on my old 911, I'd suggest getting matching seat-belts, which would also tie in with the yellow gear-knob text.
@@prolapsed5104 Also I accually think the yellow calipers look great because it matches the licence plate. Perhaps UK residents doesn´t notice it but to me the yellow licence plate really sticks out. But with yellow on something else on the car, the licence plate makes more sense.
@@scenicdrivesscandinavia7988 Agreed, and in the interior the Gear Stick text is yellow, as are the needles on the dials, so there's a selection of yellow accents insider and out.

I remember the first video I watched of yours was when someone in a van had reversed into the 4C, been alot of good days in between I'll bet but this must have been a really enjoyable day! Been a couple of those recently, so congratulations to you both on the arrival of your little one, and congrats on picking up this car! The colour really pops and changes under natural light.

Yellow callipers look amazing, they make the car pop a bit more and the alcantara wheel is almost mandatory on a gt3 since it’s a more track focused car

Beautiful spec and I love the seats. The seat centers are the easiest way to really make the inside your own and make it pop! Also if I had GT3 money I think I'd get comfort seats too and daily it. In a perfect world, I'd have a GT4 for track with the buckets.

Usually don’t like coloured callipers on a non grey scale car, but that shade of yellow works so well with the exterior colour. Personally I’d keep them yellow

Well played. I was disappointed about it being green when you announced that on BHG, but you’ve completely changed my mind. Brilliant tribute to those 930-era cars, reinforced by the Pascha. Really like the calipers - they make the rear number plate feel more at home and give the whole car just a bit of tension. Without that tension, it really wouldn’t feel like a GT 3. Congratulations.

They'll blend in and you won't even notice it after awhile. Can't wait for the first adventure as well as your thoughts on the car as you closer in on the first year (or 10k miles).
