*Start with early Mötley Crüe:* 1st Album: Too Fast for Love 1981 Live Wire and Take Me to the Top 2nd Album: Shout at the Devil 1983 Looks that Kill and Red Hot 3rd Album: Theatre of Pain 1985 Louder Than Hell and Home Sweet Home
Ok so this is my favorite band and since you asked for more song recommendations from them imma give them to you: Shout at the devil, , live wire, wild side, girls girls girls, , Helter skelter, home sweet home
I was on the thug side and so were my friends during this era. Sometimes, it would be a song to set one of us off. To answer your question “Was it cool?” Hell yeah it was cool!!! Some of my friends that had other music interest, crossed over because of this song. Kick Start My Heart is another song that has similar impact to the emotions.
I think you're really gonna like Motley Crue's other catalog of music. We've seen them live in 1985, 1987, 1990 and 2022. Still so good. If you react to their song, Wild Side. Keep in mind, it's not a party song. It's a pretty brutal song, lyrically.
. "Home Sweet Home' is really good. If you don't react to it, you should at least make sure to check it out. My recommendation for reaction is "Heart'. Barracuda or Aerosmith -Dream On.
This song is from their 5th album, Dr. Feelgood 1989. Dr. Feelgood is a nickname for a drug dealer. That may be why the video make you think of Scarface. Look up the lyrics!
Something a bit different I've seen on here. They has a tour where Tommy Lee's drum kit was in a rotating cage. He does a drum solo in it part of the time upside down. Cool watch
Yes they took the idea from Scarface, but trust me guys that you need to dive deep into their catalog. They have been my favorite band since 1984...check out their older stuff like "Live Wire", or " Looks that Kill"..?
It’s still “Cool” now! You guys need to get into lyrics. Motley Crue sold out to billions of people and they made so much money! Everything they touched back then turned to Gold!
Most 80s videos are cheesy AF. The _MUSIC_ is fire, just not the videos. "Looks That Kill", "Shout at the Devil", "Kickstart My Heart" and "Smokin' in the Boys' Room" are just a few of their awesome tunes.😈
Hell yeah I do some more motley my favorite song is dancing on glass but a lot of people don't like it a lot of people tell me I'm stupid but I like dancing on glass when you went to a crew concert you partied if you didn't get laid you was gay
80's music videos were a new medium back then, and you got some really strange videos. A lot of things seem cheesy 40 years after the fact, it reminds me of a joke I heard years ago... “I finally got around to reading Shakespeare, and I don’t get why he’s supposed to be such a great writer. Everything he wrote was full of clichés!”. I think Motley Crue's earlier music was much better, Try 'Looks That Kill', 'Shout At The Devil', 'Too Young Too Fall In Love'. They were still living out of their vehicles with no money back then and plenty of angst (like most bands early on). And yes, the videos will be cheesy! ;)
Yeah. Mick Mars is being replaced by John 5 who is a great guitarist in his own right. JOHN 5 burst out on the scene in the late 1990s with Marilyn Manson. He had some really great instrumental guitar albums around 2005 Era, so he has been around the block. Mick Mars can't go on long tours because of his debilitating AS. Now he is suing the band.
Be sure to do Wild Side... that's probably my favorite song of theirs overall, but you really can't go wrong with anything.
Wild Side in my opinion is the Crue's magnum opus.
GOD BLESS THE D.E.A. who fight the war on drugs.
(Motley Crue - Your all I need) Best guitar riff I've ever heard.
Reaction for this song on the way!
One of my favorite songs by them.
I saw them on the Dr Feelgood tour. The BEST concert I've ever been to!!❤
