Really wish Vince would have gotten in great shape. I know it's not easy the older you get, but he has all the wealth to hire top trainers and dieticians. Fat Vince is no fun
Vince sounds like he's exhausted and struggling. I feel like if Vince got into training, lost a bunch of weight and got his cardio up, he'd be able to get close to get a lot closer to his younger singing voice... I'm sure it's tough, he's older, the partying days have caught up to him, he lost a daughter, which I'm sure has affected him profoundly, so I don't blame him for letting things go some what, I know I'd be severely depressed if I went through what he did, and I would probably let myself go too, and the last thing I'd want to do is train. John 5 is a very good guitarist, and is obviously hitting all the notes with ease. I feel like his tone is close, but not quite there... Mick's tone was thicker and more saturated, maybe cause of his guitar, pickups, amp etc. and how he dials things in. There's just something about John 5's tone that feels more restrained, less gain, just slightly less of everything. I know John 5 is a tele guys, but Teles' are brighter, and have this twang to them that, where as Mick was using a lot more super Strats, which I feel would probably be better is John 5 switch to those. I don't know, every time I see Vince sing these days, I kind of feel bad for him, like he's a shadow of his former self... there's a sadness to him, like he's struggling or something.

...1313 will be missed. I was fortunate to see the Crue in Toronto in 1984 then again in 2022! Motley has never been about the music, it's a way of life. Cru4Lyf
I hope Vince wasn't complaining about Mick making mistakes. I don't know why anyone would pay to see Motley Crue in concert
WTF Vince ???? They are even playing off tempo !!!! (SLOW). ----- J5 nailing it !!!
Even John 5 (and a slower tempo) can’t save that wreck of a singer
Vince😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Night at the Roxbury .....With John 5 rocking his head ... lmfao
Well, 1st time even watchin ANYTHING recent from this band, let alone the new addition and....'Ol John does nail it pretty darned good (total respect for Mick) not overplaying (nor making it HIS style), Tommy STILL can lay down them beats too! Nikki? Does his thing, and Vince...? NO comment......ROCK the funk ON 🤘🔥🤘
Listening to Mick doing this live, then listening to this, back & forth. This just doesn’t quite cut it and at first I thought it was John 5. It wasn’t. Now I think it’s Vince. Oh God I want so badly to love this cuz it’s my favorite Mötley Crüe song. Maybe it’s the recording. Tommy & Nikki sound so great.
@@heidipeterson7662 😶 .............
Does Vince have asthma? He’s only singing small pieces at a time. I’m kinda worried about his health.
Does Vince even know the words? 🤔 Good to see John up here doing his thing, though. He’s always been an amazing player, and a great guy.
vince still knows how to put on a show
Vince needs to hire a nutritionist, a personal trainer, and security to guard his fridge. He would be in shape within six months. He can afford it, why the hell doesn't he do it? Oh, and he needs to stop drinking, some of that bloat is from the booze. He looks unhealthy. I love the guy, I want to see him be better, because I know he can be. If only he wanted too...
John Corabi available?
John looks bored up there....... but it beats the starving artist thing.
Johnny 5 is a great guitar player but it just not the same band. Been listening to the cruel sence they first came out. There was something special about the band in the 80s. Thinking Jonny will help the band grow in new ways.
Time for a change. John 5 is a good change
Only if the Crowd could sing the Entire Song!
Vince had one of the most iconic rock voices of all time however there comes a time for every cowboy to hang up his spurs and unfortunately for Vince (and Motley’s fans) that time has come and gone.
Effing awful thanks to Vince.John 5 your too good for this.
shitshow isn't it? Still can't believe people to pay to watch this shit. I loved Crue when DrFG came out. I wouldn't waste the money on petrol to go to this even if I got given a ticket. Vince is a joke.
Vince sounds better then a few years ago! Hope it Will still get better
@@jonasnordgren1720he’s still terrible.
@@tma4137 did you not read? ”Hope it Will still get better” did not say he sounds great now ^^
Now that John 5 joined Motley Crue, Nikki Sixth is Strutting around the stage as if he’s John Enwhistle.
John 5 adds to an impeccable resume but Vince HAS TO GO. Especially when the audience does HALF of his job
Cant blame John 5 for Mick not being there.
Omg Vince’s voice😢.
Mick Mars puts the heavy in metal
Waooow John 5 so awesome..
Vince walk like my granny.
Can’t believe John 5 is playing with these characters. They must be paying him well.
question: does john5 manage to play any of his solo stuff at all? like an interlude or something? would love to hear that
Obviously John 5 is more than capable but there’s a certain edginess to Mick’s playing that is missing for me. I miss Mick’s filthy fat sound.
It's not mick that needs replacing its Vince, bring back corabi
John5 never disappoints, Always brings it! Probably Rock's most under rated Guitarist in history
He is not underrated, I'm thinking you don't know the definition 😂
Great shot man…
John 5 upped Motley's game 5 fold. What a time to see the band again even with Vince's less than desireable vocals. High Five! 😀
Not comparable to Mick. Average at best
@@richcampbell6808He's a much better guitarist than mick you're high lol. Mick was good but he's not on John 5's level.
@@Fullcollapse1 Micks made tons of hit songs. John five who?
Now if they just had a singer
This is definitely one of the rock performances of all time.
We must commend Vince. The dedication it takes to pre-record such horrible vocals and then bring them to life with precisely choreographed fat boy wobbling on stage...simply remarkable. Now that's a committed artist.
I didn’t know much about John 5 prior to him joining Motley. The guy is one hell of a guitarist. A perfect choice after Mick. 👊👊👊
10000 times better than the wannabe rocker mick!!!!
@@KristianSivon remember that you are hearing the wannabe rocker songs. And J5 is just his live substitute.
@@KristianSivon The guy who helped make the band what it is you wanna disrespect? Go away jackass.
John 5 been around the block - one of the greats at the moment. Band just isn’t right without Mick though.
@@js1132000 It’s a different band without Mick I agree. But I do like John 5’s addition. They do sound good with him, no question.
Wonder if John 5 is regretting this decision!
Not when he sees his paychecks
I doubt that. The paychecks are much larger
@@charliehustle1540 he's playing with Motley Crue, I'm sure he isn't regretting his decision. He sounded great and MC is still a great band, theyre just much older. They can't stay in their 20s forever!
AWESOME 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
All I hear is "pound of paint" and "Martha Stewart".
Damn you, Official Heather. 😉
I really feel bad for them now.
I'd feel equally upset if they retired however 😅
Retire again please,
This guy is the definition of cool
Well it good to see part of the we won't tour again band, but you just can't replace mic Mars.
So I'm a huge fan of John Five so don't get me messed up here, but there is just something almost too perfect about his playing. It is technically perfect and I think it is just missing a bit of the lose feeling of Mick's playing who I also love. On top of that man his guitar sound is killer, but but doesn't fill up the space nearly as much as Mick did. That being said solid line up. If I could offer someone up to replace Vini it would be Russel Alan! I think he could do pretty solid here actually. Please Vince for all of us just pack it in brother. At this point it stopped being funny a few years ago. Now your just approaching crimes against music status
I hear you. It’s like someone took guitar lessons and all the teacher had was Mötley sheet music. No rawness, just technical.
Well said, I’m a fan of J5 also but I also llike “texture” of someone like ace frehly. The scratchy texture is missing with J5, in a category of his own though.
It sounds just like Mick
And sounds like the actual song
Vince is “singing” the Cliff Notes summary version of the lyrics.
Sorry mates! It Sounds like a cover band! No one can replace Mick ‘s …
John 5 great guitar player, but it’s hard to match Micks tone…it’s loud and raunchy! Not easy to replace
Hey Vince !!! Life goes on don’t let the past bring you down , tomorrow always comes , get your life and your health back hit the gym !!!! You think Mick drinks and eats sitting around the house all day !!!!! WTF , Thats why the stones kick ass at 80 years old!!!
John 5 doesn't look right with Motley Crue or maybe its just me? Mick Mars was awesome
about 5:06 you can see the base still playing and Stixx not playing it.Come on boys get the q's on mark
The back up singer/dancers have more energy than the whole band ...and audience.......yeah we’re old
