It's all coming together nicely!❤ I love those vego beds. We just can't handle the expense for them right now, so I am planting in 5 gal buckets, grow bags, plastic tubs, kiddie pool, laundry basket. My son brought me 3 pallets, so I added legs to turn them into basically a table to set my buckets and small containers on. I do what I can with what I have.🙂
I ordered 2 vego tomato pots. 1 for my mom and one for me ❤️. So excited to try it! I’m also going to try the carrot seeds! I’m still practicing and learning 😜 Thank you for your teaching videos. You both are a inspiration and a blessing love you guys
Everything is looking so good 👍 I got 5 new fruit trees, 6 Freedom blackberries & two grapes in the ground along with some veggies & working on a raised pot area. It's a busy, busy time & we reap what we sow. Thanks ❤
Good to see the minis doing so well. It's kind of a novelty but would be great for people that don't have room to plant big gardens. You could put them in windowsills or porch or patio just to have some fresh homegrown bite sized veggies!
I really like the idea of putting some carrots in with the tomatoes in that container! I was thinking of trying that in my tomato pots! Gonna give it a try!! Thanks!!😊
Your high tunnel is coming along. I like how you prepare for the worst as in hurricane weather. It takes less time and effort to build it right than to repair it later.
Closet to a high tunnel is 1 my folks made out of water trough. 😅 i finally got some plastic on it a couple day's ago, the compost (I just throw grass & kitchen scraps in it with occasional cardboard & ignore it, the chicken's add their contributions to it too 😅) is frozen. i was going to plant some sprouted store potatoes, but can't yet. I have to get a new temperature gage, our other one said it was 42 all afternoon, night & next day. When temps are 18 at night, 38 during the day, i dont think so. 😅 but it's a start.
I like Thyme, too. It grew well in my Green Stalk last year. I kept it right outside my kitchen door. I grew enough to dry some so I wouldn't be without it for winter.
Good day Danny & Wanda ..thanks for another good information video...them Vago little plants put on some growth baby pickles are cute❤ Creative thinking play some great imagination and a positive outcome.. there's always more than one way to do any job to have the same outcome most of the time...😊
I’ve found that a fender washer with a screw through it often holds better than staples. And is easier on the hands than a staple gun. In addition you might consider agrobond or window screen fabric on the inside help combat white fly and smaller insects
Sometimes life style counts more than a saw buck. I am older now, and I just LIKE garden raised better than store bought. This year it is enough for me to use stakes to grow veggies up, but I might buy one of those tubs next year, and cost be hanged
Thank you. If you have a chance to respond I would appreciate your thoughts on this. You have told us to try and raise our containers off the ground due to the natural radiation coming from within the earth. It there a concern about the vego containers sitting on the fabric on the soil. Golly I’m learning great information from you. I love the tips on the Saturday chats and recommendations for books to obtain. If I’m ever in Southern Mississippi I will try to contact you and just meet you in person. My wife and I are still looking and praying God finds us piece of property larger than out lot right now. Thank you for showing how to increase the use of ares for food production. Any new tree or shrubs we plant must produce food or it doesn’t get planted here. I am very appreciative of both of you. Thanks for Crazy Daze, Deepsouth, and Pecan Grove information. I love them all.
I have the English Thyme also, yummy. I did have Trigon a couple of years ago but it died out, it was delicious on fish. Having a difficult time finding any last year or this year to replant.
Bugs are already fierce here in SE Ohio. I've seen bees out back in February and I need to mow the yard now. Normally it's late very late April or around mother's Day before I mow. 2 months ahead of schedule
I'm so happy for you to finally get some work done on the high tunnel, hopefully it stays cool. Don't get too stressed out that's when you make mistakes lol. Vegetables are looking great , thanks for the tips on carrots and tomatoes, now I can plant more carrots 🥕 😀. May God bless you and Wanda.
Nice self waterer and pretty to look at. I made several self watering 5 gallon buckets, few years ago. Will start replacing as needed, with these. Thanks for the update
Y'all did amazing on your high tunnel!! Keep up the good work, and thank you for the teaching journey you have taken us through with y'all! Love, Prayers, and Blessings!
Will it save on water if I plant in pots and set them in the raised beds instead of planting in the raised bed soil? I have to lug water down the road otherwise.
Really do like these but just cannot afford them. Looking for a work from home or remote jobs to add income to SS. No reliable transportation. Prayers please.
For what it’s worth, until y’all can get the high tunnel covered, y’all can cover the plants with tulle to keep the plant predators off of them. Of course it will keep the plant pollinators off, too.
It has a sight glass to tell you how much water is in it … I wonder how you could make a sight glass like that at home ?… I make my wicking tubs out of the cattle syrup tubs and the black 4” sewer line with the sock over it
Fire ants, ugh. Those dang ants out here, can't even stand in the grass sometimes, without some kind of ant trying to come up & bite. 😅 They're aggressive in The South!

I can afford the vego beds either … I will have to buy one every now and then
CANT
And I have to DIY my own wicking tubs
@@tambrasmith9707 I make my own wicking tubs as well
That’s a cool idea 😎 Gotta use whatever we can

Critical thinking...knowing how to think..not what to think...you guys are the best..blessings
Exactly
We make our own wick tubs from cattle tubs, the veggo tub is fine for people that want to patio grow.
You two seem so happy over at Pecan Grove. I love what you're going in the high tunnel. Looks fantastic!
I love the Vego beds but only can afford one of the smaller ones. I love the tomato planter but too costly for my budget.
Everything is looking so good 👍 I got 5 new fruit trees, 6 Freedom blackberries & two grapes in the ground along with some veggies & working on a raised pot area. It's a busy, busy time & we reap what we sow. Thanks ❤
I love this property :)
Looks nice. Danny puts stuff together like my husband no directions needed well almost .lol

High tunnel is coming together. Always to much to do and not enough time. Thank y'all for sharing and have a blessed evening.
So glad that you are feeling well enough and the weather is cooperating enough for you to work on the high tunnel itself.

That tomatoe tower looks great. Thanks for showing it to us.
That a neat planter! The high tunnel is looking good. I definitely want to add some mess on the bottom o mine
Your high tunnel garden .looks very nice, love the color of the vego beds
The high tunnel looks nice with the new raised beds.
For the price $119 it seems to be the most beneficial for somebody in an apartment.
Good day Danny & Wanda ..thanks for another good information video...them Vago little plants put on some growth baby pickles are cute❤

You all are doing a great job again in the food area. I’m in central Missouri so behind some here but can’t wait to get into the dirt.
I’ve found that a fender washer with a screw through it often holds better than staples. And is easier on the hands than a staple gun. In addition you might consider agrobond or window screen fabric on the inside help combat white fly and smaller insects
Love the container. I've 2 on order myself. Everything looks great.
Hello again 😊
My goodness I would love that tomato waterer! You 2 come up with the coolest stuff thank you
The self watering plant pot is a Vego product. They apparently have people who have thought hard about their products.
@@vickisavage8929So what’s up with their products??? Have you had any experience with them??? I’m thinking of trying some.
I'm so excited for you two! Seeing the smallest progress and food production from the cucumbers is so rewarding! Thank you for sharing ❤
Good morning, I just watched the first video, now another one. Turning out to be a good Monday morning.
Enjoyed the video! Had me laughing at the Nimrod slip! Thanks guys ❤

This whole project is so very nice! ❤ I'm having tunnel envy 😂
Your place is looking great!! I have plant envy!!
I have the English Thyme also, yummy. I did have Trigon a couple of years ago but it died out, it was delicious on fish. Having a difficult time finding any last year or this year to replant.
Early girl is my favorite tomato here in n. Idaho! I get my first tomatoes from them!
Y'all, everything looks amazing.
Bugs are already fierce here in SE Ohio. I've seen bees out back in February and I need to mow the yard now. Normally it's late very late April or around mother's Day before I mow. 2 months ahead of schedule
I’ve had honeybees, wasps, and hornets investigate my open door for the last week or so. Unfortunately, the ticks have been active for almost a month.
Great video I'm glad things are coming along on your hi tunnel God bless
I'm so happy for you to finally get some work done on the high tunnel, hopefully it stays cool. Don't get too stressed out that's when you make mistakes lol. Vegetables are looking great , thanks for the tips on carrots and tomatoes, now I can plant more carrots 🥕 😀. May God bless you and Wanda.
There is actually a book on companion planting titled Carrots Love Tomatoes and it’s pretty good.
Thank you for the high tunnel lesson and showing the tomato product. Vego seems like a really good company with lots of helpful ideas. 😊
Please video making end walls. I'm unsure how to build for mine the right way.
That’s a great planter 😊
Looking good. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Vego bed look good love the color. Would love to get one thanks for the video
The vego link is showing a "500 internal error"
It is up now. Can you check again and see if it works now?
It's all looking real good Danny. It's all coming together.
I want one. May be a few😊❤
For what it’s worth, another really good tomato for cool weather is Siletz, and it’s very productive and tasty.
Where to get that red garden moblie seat ????? Have bad knees love that
I need one of them for my plant ❤
Fantastic setup.
It's looking awesome!
What I wouldn’t do for one or two of those planters!!! I’m planting in plastic kiddie pools cause I don’t have any land.
All your plants are looking good
It will grow faster if it is a wicking planter
And u can pour water soluable fertilizer down the fill tube for the resorvoir
How much does the self watering tomatoe tower cost?
Looking good.
Nice self waterer and pretty to look at. I made several self watering 5 gallon buckets, few years ago. Will start replacing as needed, with these. Thanks for the update
I love that pot!!!!
Y'all did amazing on your high tunnel!! Keep up the good work, and thank you for the teaching journey you have taken us through with y'all! Love, Prayers, and Blessings!
Your high tunnel is looking great.
Excellent job thanks for the video
I finally bought a greenstalk. Put strawberry plants in it
Very cool
Hey guys
Your garden looks beautiful.
Danny whats the rough cost of your setup looks great
Will it save on water if I plant in pots and set them in the raised beds instead of planting in the raised bed soil? I have to lug water down the road otherwise.
❤❤❤Hi!❤❤ love your videos ❤❤
Looking good!
Plant the food 1st. Prioritize. I like the way youguys think.
When you have enclosed them in, have you ever thought about using a light up bug zapper in the high tunnels?
I personally use a bug zapper but it's to keep deer out of my garden. I also live in south Mississippi and I am over run with deer.
Yes I keep bug zapper around.
🙏🙏🙏🙂🕊♥️👍. I made my own self watering system.
Did you say your high tunnel is 60’? I don’t see a 60’ foot option at growers solutions.
You can get them in any 4 ft length.
Really do like these but just cannot afford them. Looking for a work from home or remote jobs to add income to SS. No reliable transportation. Prayers please.
where do you find 1/8" hardware cloth? I'm only finding 1/4" which would be too large.
If you don’t find it at a hardware or big box store, you can always find it online. Sometimes you can order it from the hardware or big box store.
We got it on Amazon.
What’s that corn doing?
Where did you buy the early girl plant? I am In Perkinston
At Alexander hardware store
Please give your thoughts on the new gmo purple tomato
I did on a previous video.
When will you finish this high tunnel?
As Michelangelo told the pope about the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, it will be finished when it’s done.
When time presents itself.
For what it’s worth, until y’all can get the high tunnel covered, y’all can cover the plants with tulle to keep the plant predators off of them. Of course it will keep the plant pollinators off, too.
It’s like a wicking tub
It has a sight glass to tell you how much water is in it … I wonder how you could make a sight glass like that at home ?… I make my wicking tubs out of the cattle syrup tubs and the black 4” sewer line with the sock over it
I put a pvc drain at about 4” from the bottom of the tub
I have planted my citrus trees, prime ark freedom black berry plants and a fig tree in my wicking tubs and they have done very good in them
Old Bunny Poop is the best 👍🌱
When there is no food at the grocery store or no stores, the cost of that planter will be justified.
👍
Fire ants, ugh. Those dang ants out here, can't even stand in the grass sometimes, without some kind of ant trying to come up & bite. 😅 They're aggressive in The South!
Danny and Wanda have the same problem. They have as much as possible in containers on blocks.
💕💗💕🙏🙏🙏
Danny is 100% dude
