THANKS FOR WATCHING! - Хобби
Please pray for my hubby. He was diagnosed with colon cancer. He goes for a CT scan Monday to see if it has spread. Then surgery. God is in control.
Prayers from indiana for you and your husband ❤
Players are on the wind for your husband & for you.
Praying!
I pray that God heals him from the top of his head to the bottom of his feet feet in Jesus's name
In your loving hands Father in Jesus' most precious name and for your glory Father 💖🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I wrapped copper coil around my peach & plum trees because they struggle. Last year I had a bumper crop of peaches. The poor tree had been zapped by lightning for many years. Last year was the 1st time it produced anything in the last decade.
Good to know!
Did you just wrap around the tree trunk starting at the bottom?
I really like those vego beds. I use old logs right now. $$$ Running poor grandma style here, but getting it done old school way. Thank you for sharing. 😊
Thanks Danny and Wanda. I gifted my neighbor 4 coils that I made for her strawberry bed. I didn't explain all the benifits because her boyfriend would have poopooed it and made her give them back. (He's one of those who see nothing wrong with using seven dust and roundup.) I just told her it would help with slug control. Much Love ❤
Thank you for taking your time to show us! The information you give is so valuable.
Exactly what I need to see and hear! This is the best educational video for starting raised beds. Thank you for making this content, it should be the first video all new gardener watch.
I like when you get cranked up Danny, I get a lot of good information to remind me, least I forget.
There are three types of lime commonly used in agriculture; crushed powdered lime, pelletized lime, and hydrated lime. Danny has it backwards in regards to how long they're effective in the soil.
Crushed powdered lime, depending on the particle size will last up to five years and takes several months to begin working. It's difficult to apply without making a mess.
Pelletized lime has more consistent particle size and last 2-3 years but generally works faster than crushed lime. It's easy to apply and begins working faster than crushed lime.
Hydrated lime has to be applied most often, which is the opposite of what Danny claims. It works quickly and requires less to neutralize the soil. It's also easy to apply too much. It's highly caustic. Use with caution!
We can really enjoy gardening this time of year!
I have a Jerry Baker "backyard problem solver" book.
Thank you for sharing how you go about amending the soil it really helps me learn how to approach it. Easy does it little bits at a time
Hello Pecan Grove.. Best video of the day. .
Thank you Danny & Wanda.. pray daily that younger folks well learn more & more about garden.. This video is a jem to watch & learn from..
Being good stewards to the Lamb and the land..Shalom
Another method of application is to pre dissolve the Sulfate of Ammonia and Hydrated lime in water, then use a watering can. Just be careful on your ratios. Thanks for the video. Jon
Howdy Danny and Wanda.
I remembered you saying in past videos about organic and some things take a long time to be effective.
Thank you for sharing how your amending the vego beds and reinforcing electro culture.
I always learn something when you share. thanks again.
Thank you Danny and Wanda. Have a wonderful weekend. Pace yourselves.!!!
Everyone, may you have a wonderful and blessed crucifixion day as we honor the wondrous sacrifice that was made to draw man back to God.
I have some from Mr Mickey but need more as I can afford them. I can attest they work. I had some next to plants and same type plants in same soil I did not have any. There was such a difference in plant size a d growth. Amazing using with my tomatoes. Potatoes and cabbage. Garden bigger this year so need to try and get more.
Agree, coils work. I got copper wire at HD and curled them with a stick. Works like a charm! 🧿
Good morning Mr. Danny and Wanda. When I was a Herbicider in a citrus grove we used Ammonium sulfate to aid in the up take of of roundup and 2-4-D. When we were getting sufficient rain fall we used 100 lbs. to 1000 gallons of water. Dryer weather we increased to 150 lbs. to 1000 gallons/ wetter conditions 50 lbs. to 1000 gallons of water
What fo you mean by aid in the take up of round up… Is this getting the plants to absorb it?
We use miracle grow with Roundup when spraying cogon grass to make it more potent.
I use one 6 foot tall stick of bamboo with a fairly heavy guage copper wrapped counter clockwise in the southern side of all my raised beds with the copper and bamboo going in at least a foot depth. I center the antennas in the center of the southern side. So I have 5ft tall antenna. I also have about 30 to 40 small coils I'll put under plants I want to produce or if any seem to be struggling. It might be overkill but it showed to be very effective last season.
Ammonium sulfate will lower the ph of soil. We use it on blueberries.
We use a urea based nitrogen on our “vegetable gardens” and corn.
It's all they sell here. Plus my sulfur was low .
Great video today God bless
Taking notes
I like your plant and pick sign
I believe in Electra culture...ever noticed how green a plant gets after a lightning storm? I say try the coils..can't hurt anything...
I ordered some from HILLS MILL and I ran across some on one of those Chinese companies and ordered some from there also. They are much taller, wound around a dowel rod and have a bigger antenna on the top. So I will compare and see how much a difference they will make.
None! I made my own as well. Copper wire is the most essential item. Nothing special about size
Make sure the others are real copper and not copper coated or clad.
@pecangrovems they are pure copper. Just a finer guage than 12 gauge.
Very much enjoyed the ending on Electroculture. Thx again. --🍒
Thank you Danny and Wanda for this informative video, it’s exactly what I was hoping you’d do!
Thank you so much for agreeing to do this teaching video! I learned so much that will help me.
Love those beds…can’t wait until I get my VEGO BED… love that sign, “Plant and Pick”. 👍🌱💕🙋🏻♀️
Great info! Thank you! Planting carrots today!😊
looks great
HEY FROM SOUTH GEORGIA, A LITTLE COOL THIS MORNING, GOING TO BE CLOSE TO 80 TODAY, GOOD GARDENING WEATHER. THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO
Waiting for the results for my container garden soil test. Hope the results are simple to amend. Thanks for the recommendation for soil testing kit!
Your garden is looking beautiful! I harvested my carrots except for around the edges of the raised beds and planted my tomatoes down the center like you suggested. I’m hoping to be able to collect carrot seeds from the remaining ones. I have one more harvest of English peas and then will transfer the last of my tomatoes to that bed. Today is canning day for the carrots, pick, shell & freeze the peas, then get ready for Shabbat. Thank you for the information you shared. God bless!
Thank yall for doing this video! 💕
Chicken or Hog manure will supply N, P and K you need to grow vegetables.
Absolutely true, but the manure needs to age (compost) or it will burn the plants.
Yes if it's composted right.
🙏🙏🙏🙂♥️🕊👍thank you very much 😊
Thanks for taking the time to show us.☺️
Thank you Danny for valuable info.
Thank you for the info bro. Danny; I learn something with every video I watch. Just love those Vego beds! Would love some, especially for the sweet and regular taters...would be easier on my old back😊❤

GM & thanks for the info.
Thank you for the teaching.
👍Thanks for the valuable info! 🥰
I am in central MS. I got my herbs today for my balcony. Our apt. complex had the overgrown trees trimmed yesterday so I should get plenty of sun. I may ever try a cherry tomato this year.
Great watching and learning!❤
Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us!
Hi thank you for explaining all this.
Good morning. Thanks for the info. 👩🏼🌾
Great video, y'all . . . . .thank you for taking the time for us. Xo

GM ❤❤👋🙏
Good morning.
Morning
Thank you Danny and Wanda. I am waiting on my soil test kit to come. I'm so excited!!
Best of luck
Thank you for you knowledge. Those VEGO BEDS are soooo on my wish list. Just out of my pocket book range.
Your brassicas and peppers are going to bless you for providing them with sulfur. The difference in color between the potted pepper and the peppers in the raised bed is obvious.
Liquid fish emulsion is a good organic cure and you do not have to wait. The plant will uptake what it needs… when you’re low on nitrogen that is
Yes but there's no guarantee analysis.
You are lowering your PH with ammonium sulfate. You should use calcium nitrate which is great for tomatoes.
My soil test said my calcium was screaming high. Don't need to add more. My sulfur was low.
💝👍💝
My granddad used electroculture in the 60's .
Hehe yall did help vego sell the more 8 fters 😅.
I don't know.
Do the horticulture help with Potatoes, and Sweet potatoes? I know it works with tomatoes, and greens
Yes
What do you think of the mittlieder gardening system
Not a fan in our environment.
In the southern hemisphere, do you still put the copper on the south side of the plant?
That looks like a Miracle Grow lawn fertilizer container with the green spoon. Do you use that for vegetables or is it a repurposed container? Working with powders like the lime makes me nervous. I went to our garden center the other day and picked up a bag of copper powder and when I lifted it off the shelf this big poof of copper dust went everywhere. All over the expensive farm fresh eggs I had just put in the cart.
I use miracle grow for fast nitrogen on small plants.
The March winds are showing up on this video
Mr danny i put lime in my garden but didn’t rub into soil instead i put leaf mold on top of it you reckon that’s ok?
Yes it is fine.
Question, when the tomatoes are done, can I plant a cover crop of peas in my raised beds and cover them if we're going to get a hard freeze? Will that naturally bring up the nitrogen level in my raised beds and containers?
Only if they grow till full term.
Whare did you get the red hoops? Thanks jim80
PEX tubing is what he said. I use them too. Buy 50' make as many you need.
PEX tubing is what he said he used.
The red is 1/2” pex tubing over 3/8” rebar. Both can be bought in long pieces and cut to size.
Is a 70% shade cloth do dark for your garden? THX
Danny uses 40% shade cloth.
I use 40 percent the others are to dark for us.
How do you amend if the grid and everything else goes down so that there is no amendment in sacks to purchase, or no place, nothing open anywhere for purchase?
THATS why you prep
I have lots stored up. Plus I am storing up animal manure.
Great info. thank you.
