- Rick Sanchez is duelling Yami Yugi / the pharaoh for the millennium puzzle. Rick is on a rick and morty pre season 7 quest to find rick prime and needs the puzzle to do so.
Rick Sanchez summons pickle rick and yugi summons the dark magician with dark magic curtain. This is a fan made animation.
STORY PARODY PREMISE
Rick Sanchez has travelled from the rick and morty universe into the yugioh universe in search of the millennium puzzle. By harnessing the astral powers inside the puzzle, he can be able to locate the true location of the original soul of rick prime (seeing as rick prime has cloned himself many times. The millennium puzzle is currently held my yami yugi. It is linked to him. In order for rick to truly claim the puzzle, he must defeat the pharaoh in a shadow game/duel.
The timeline in the yugioh universe is set during battle city. Rick has already defeated yami marik and claimed the egyptian god card (the winged dragon of ra) and the millennium rod. Kaiba holds obelisk and yugi holds slifer.
Before coming into the yugioh universe, rick had also acquired various sharingan from the naruto universe of his previous ventures. As well as the millennium puzzle, he also seeks the infinity stones and the dragon balls.
With the dragon balls, rick sanchez hopes to use a wish that they grant, in order to revive his wife and daughter. But in order to acquire them, he must get through the saiyans, goku and vegeta.

Nah thats not Ricks style. He wants the puzzle for himself and he WILL get it. I love Yugi but my man Rick is unstoppable, always 10 moves ahead of everyone else.
On the off chance the creater gives the duel win to Yugi, because of Yugioh plot armour of course, then it wont matter because Rick will just lazer his ass and take the damn thing anyway lol

@@ASavageEye You can't just TAKE a millennium item. You need to win it. That's one of the rules you must follow.
@@ASavageEye If we are talking canonically, then yeah... Rick's gotta win it. The puzzle only really works for the one that wins it. Either by solving it's puzzle, or by beating it's wielder in a game. And the puzzle has anti-cheat powers, where if the opponent cheats the puzzle makes things even by altering probability to make things ideal for the wielder. Yugi can lose, but it has to be at a fair game. Its probability change can also be a curse such as how the puzzle killed the people who stole it from its original tomb.

Does Rick know about Yami’s special ability? When he duels, and feels pressured, he manipulates luck to force a saving card to the top of his deck. The steeper the odds, the better the card.
For example, if Yami is losing, the opponent has 1000- LP left, and Yami needs a strong defense: he can draw Swords of Revealing Light, Marshmallon, or Big Shield Guardna. The stronger the opponent or the lower his own life points are, the more likely he’ll draw Marshmallon in order to take out his opponent upon attack.

Not Marshmallon. Yami never used that. That's a card first used by the regular Yugi.

Yoooo this was legit! The attention to detail on Ricks cards was amazing, and the dialogue actually feels like someone both characters would say.
Highkey excited about seeing Rick's deck! On one of the shorts there was a few ideas being flung about on what he might have if Rick was a proper archetype which was hella exciting! I even remember a small comment being made about Pickle Rick being banned from tournament play and it getting an errata which is kind of funny. Really looking foreward to the next part!
