I loved this. It wasn't just a 30 second gag fight, you actually dedicated the entire episode to the duel.
Not only that, but besides the fact that half of the roster is just memes, just treated each card with seriousness.
Honestly, this is my favourite blend of episode. When the jokes and absurdity doesn't come from the fact of what they say and their reactions to said absurdity, but that they don't even acknowledge it, but act like it's completely natural and just a part of their everyday life.
I hope to see more episodes like this. These are my favourite kind.

Ok this duel is actually pretty well thought out... the first thing that happened that was weird was that cell didn't activate mirror force the first time that dark magician with a gat attacked, but if you read the mike lesowski card neither player can set and activate trap cards when he is on the field... also slifer probably foiled cell's plans with the face down cards because he can't be effected by magic and trap cards... his attack went to 3500 hundred because the card yugi played to increase slifer's attack points was from his hand
There is another weird thing. Dark Magician with a Gat is a Ritual Monster, but Atem calls it a Fusion Monster

Slifer is affected by magic and traps. I once mirror forced him against my friend on master duel
@@fireblaze5032 Ik this is a late response, it's possible to Mirror Force Slifer after the turn he was summoned(or special summoned via Monster Reborn or something). On the turn he's normal summoned, there's just no way to use a spell/trap on him at all.
This still doesnt have as many ass pulls as yugioh GX has. Lol

Fun fact: the reason Atem (pharaoh) can always “ass pull” his way out of most duels is due to the millennium puzzle he wears. Aside from its main purpose of locking away the pharaohs soul until the pass phrase is said by someone who needs it, it also senses dire situations in duels and can make it so that the card that is needed will be drawn in said dire situations.
actually, the Millennium Puzzle doesn't have any special powers, that's LITERALLY the soul of the Pharaoh that does it.

We don't see his hands but you're right! He didn't have any Set cards; both monsters should've been destroyed and Cell would have an opening. Yugi had no defense so a Shallot was all he was going to need.
Because cell monster got added to yugi monster by the spell card, that how yugi monster got stronger
@@THEKINGBETWEEN his attack dropped to 1000. But then it gained 2500 putting it at 3500. Slifer gained attack equal to Big Chungus’s attack points.
So Yugi played Leeching the Light which means that Big Chungus is LIGHT attribute?!

@@TheZamaron it's a scripted duel. It's usually the voic actors reading off a script or prompt while people duel with constructed decks. Of course you get yugi and kaiba but you also get ones like Joey vs Pegasus or Joey vs ishisu

Such a beautifully created Yu-Gi-Oh episode for something that was rushed, definitely felt like I was have a good watch of the show not to mention Yugi was dragged way into the future which had pendulum summoning
Low key the effects on this specifically the textures on the models were freakin' gorgeous. I dunno where you got those models from, or if you textured them yourself but hoooooly shit I couldn't get over the literal shimmer on Slifer.
