@@jenniferbess1 I thought that too, seeing as this lady likes to keep everything so clean, it was a bit of a turn off for me. .......also the dogs bowls in the dishwasher and on the counter along with the hand washed items. I've had food poisoning a couple of times so I'm extra extra careful.
I have to share with you. I was sitting on my couch flipping thru RUclips and found your food prep video. I got up and spent the next 2 hours cleaning, chopping and slicing my veggies. I packed everything in glass containers with tight lids. Guess what? We ate all of our veggies with zero waste, cooking dinners/meals was quick and easy, and even my husband figured out how to make a quick stir fry for himself! It just takes a little of effort and we were set for 2 weeks! The glass containers really do keep the veggies fresher. Including zucchini. Everything I read said not to chop, but I did and it’s fine. Thanks honey. I enjoy your videos. They are motivating to this working mama.
New viewer, and I thought you were gonna waste the salmon skins and I just thought how much my dogs would love them. When I saw you go out back and give them to your beautiful Aussies my heart was so happy!
I appreciate your tidiness and attention to detail. I cook and clean the same ways. So much easier, faster, and efficient. Many people don't appreciate the efficiency of motion that can save so much time in cooking, cleaning, prep work.
You have such a beautiful kitchen! I love how everything has its place, and how you included cleaning as part of the process. It is as enjoyable to watch as cooking : )

From a dishwasher expert, I've heard you actually shouldn't be rinsing things before putting them into the dishwasher. They have to be a little dirty, so the chemicals have some dirt to stick. :) I love your idea with white sharpie pen! :)

Nice job meal prepping!!! And I LOVE the real sounds, very relaxing to listen to while I’m watching. This video motivated me to get up & finally make a batch of my macaroni salad which the family will enjoy as a side for meals this week. Thank you for the motivation & have a great week!

This is an excellent meal prep video with lots of tips. Love the homemade pesto. I'm sure that large bag of pine nuts was pretty pricey. The silicone ice cube trays that you used for the pesto I got recently from Target and love them. Thank you so much for sharing.
If you find walnuts for a cheaper price than pine nuts (I don't live in the US, so I have no idea), you can switch it. It is a slightly healthier option compared to pine nuts and you don't need to add that much because walnuts act as a thickener to the sauce. Tastes slightly more nuttier but if it helps the pocket then why not.
Love your channel! Thank you for sharing your links to all the practical things that make life more fun and easy, especially for the mundane activities to run a household....as I "add to cart" :)
Hiya Randi, my husband goes to the farmers' market every week for our fresh produce and when I finish washing and prepping all the produce my kitchen is a hot mess. I need you to make a trip to Western Australia to give me lessons 😝 On another note you have done well with the basil. Last summer I let mine go to seed and then sowed some in the garden . We'll see whether it comes back in spring . Thank you for a great video and have a good weekend 🥰
Hi Linda! I try not to juggle too many things when I'm in the kitchen, otherwise I start dropping the balls! 😂 I have the worst luck with basil outside. It never gets enough water and if it does it gets eaten by the beasties. 😂 I keep trying though. Good luck with the basil! Take care and have a great week! 🌸💕😊
I absolutely luuuuuuuv this video. You're clean, organized and prepared. Very few videos show the "cleanliness " of the cook. I could eat what came out of your kitchen without a doubt.
I line my baking pans with chlorine free parchment paper to avoid the aluminum to come in contact with food , it also makes the cleaning easier. Very neat and clean and healthy food prep and cooking.
Hi Randy, I really enjoyed the food prep video. I have just started doing some myself and you have given me some great ideas. Love the breakfast one and I am definitely going to try it. Thank you 💖
I've just come across your channel and I love it. I like how you keep it real and above all how you have a system to make weekly routine easier and smoother for you. I have a question, though, don't you find that meal prepping makes food stale or soggy? I always try to get to it but it doesn't really seem to work well for me maybe because I like freshly cooked meals more.
Hi Flora! Nothing is a good as fresh cooked meal. Cooked meat doesn't reheat well. Prep things that take a long time to cook, like rice. I try to cook things that make good left overs, like soups, stews, chili, etc. My husband is less picky. 😂
Instead of throwing away the water the veg has been cooked in I save it to add to soups & stews or gravy or even to add to bouillon or stock cube for a savoury drink.
I cried seeing you feed the salmon skin to the dogs lol that’s the best part! I usually take a knife and scrape off any remaining scales and then air fry it skin side up with salt and a spray of avocado oil. It’s so delicious!
Hey Randi! I hope you’re well. I really enjoyed this video. I love how you meal prep and keep your fridge so organized. I need to get a white paint pen like yours because I rotate ingredients in mason jars too. Your babies are excellent dishwashers!❤️🐾 I hope you have a great weekend. Take care. 💕👩🏼🍳🧅🫑🦋🌸
Hi Marcie! Food has gotten so expensive! Keeping the fridge organized cuts down on waste. I forgot to put a ling to the pen I use. Make sure it's water based. Thank you so much! You too! 🌸💕😊
I really enjoyed watching you prep everything, idk if I could do it like that all together. It would take me a couple full days... But there is one thing that really bothers me, you leave the water running and running when you could just close it and open it again... Water is a resource we all need and we're running out of... I know I'm gonna get a lot of hate on this comment but, it's just my opinion so...
I feel ashamed that I don't know how to cook like this. I grew up on process food. The more I learn from scratch the more I realize that not only it is easier, cost less with the knowledge of storage but it also takes the same amount of time.
I didn't grow up eating this way, either. I had to learn how to cook without grains and dairy. 🤦🏼♀️ Having food prepped helps so much on days when I don't have the time and energy. 🥰🌸💕
I just found your channel today September 2, 2022. How did you learn to clean, prepare and maintain your home? Unfortunately, I am still trying to keep my home clean and organized. I did not learn these skills growing up. It just all seems so overwhelming. It makes me very sad.
I learned a lot by trial and error. When we moved into the house, I couldn't keep up with the bigger space. That's when I started cleaning for 15 minutes everyday. Look for the Fly Lady system. It can give you a place to start. Progress not perfection. 🌸💕🤗
We all grow up in different environments and there is room for growth and improvement. Not everyone knows everything! I follow Diane in Denmark, she taught me a lot too.
Just a thought - so if you save your cut offs like garlic or onion peals, anything cut off most veggies, collect them in a freezer bag till you have enough saved to boil a pot (or use the instapot) to make a veggie broth base - there are so many nutrients still in those items. I add spices and make mine pretty strong so I can water it down with chicken or beef stock with the veggie stock to rice or pasta to add flavor. I also freeze some of this veggie base stock in cubes or will can at least half of it. I use a cloth in my sieve to keep all the particles from my broth once done. The particles are then added to my compost and provide great nutrients to this.
I don't get how you let the dogs eat off the food tray, put the dog bowls in the dishwasher and hand wash the dog bowl with the same sponge as household cutlery😝 your so clean and tidy then go and do something totally in contrast
I’m sorry but it is really gross to wash the dog bowls in your sink and let them eat from the tray. You should really separate them. Covid has nothing to do with this. Maybe run a separate load with all items touched by the dogs.
My heart sunk when I saw you offer the tray to the dogs and then use the dish sponge to wash their bowls... Dogs' saliva contain bacterias that can make humans really sick, also it isn't hygienic. Please be careful!
I’m wondering how thru out the ages how all kids have survived with their pet dogs licking their faces while growing up? Me included. I don’t doubt what you say but it makes me wonder….
Guess now people who used to go eat at her house won't anymore very unclean makes no sense dogs eat their own vomit clean their ass with their tongue couldn't believe my eyes
Why? It's anti-bacterial Pre rinse. Follow with soap, hot water and a dishwasher (human or machine) and Voila! A super clean baking sheet. All good and clean. *No animals or Karens were harmed in the making of this comment.
Hi Gail! I have a friend who feels the same way about dogs. And she still eats at my house. 😂 she knows that everything is cleaned and sanitized before I use it again. THS. 💕🌸🥰
Same. We love our dogs like our kids, but no way i will let my dogs eat from our plates or wash dog bowls in a dishwasher with our dishes. Other then that nice food prep!
Hi! Im so excited, I found your channel today, yay! It looks like its just what I need, thank you for that. I enjoy the stasher bags as well. Have a great day

Thanks so much!
So smart to measure out the ingredients for the banana bread and store in a mason jar. What a time saver.
Totally agree, I was mind blown 🤯
It’s a huge help during the holidays!
So no one is commenting about the dogs eating from the tray she just cooked her meals in right nasty
@@jenniferbess1 The only con in this video 😒 isn't it unhygienic.

You should add turmeric at the end before it's done. Heating up turmeric above 105 makes the properties that help with everything bio unable

It never gets enough water and if it does it gets eaten by the beasties. 😂 I keep trying though. Good luck with the basil! Take care and have a great week! 🌸💕😊
Perfect 🌟 thank you ❤️ the music was Perfect too 👌😊
I love that sprayer. I use in the kitchen and one in the bathroom for homemade facial mists
I never thought of using them for something else! Great idea! TFS 🌸💕🥰
Merci! Vous aussi! 🌸💕😊
COMO SEMPRE FANTASTICO UMA SEMANA ABENÇOADA PARA TODA FAMILIA 💙💙💙
¡Gracias Margardia! ¡Que tengas una buena semana! 🌸💕😊
I absolutely luuuuuuuv this video. You're clean, organized and prepared. Very few videos show the "cleanliness " of the cook. I could eat what came out of your kitchen without a doubt.

@@zachmiecheltinoco3756 right!
I line my baking pans with chlorine free parchment paper to avoid the aluminum to come in contact with food , it also makes the cleaning easier. Very neat and clean and healthy food prep and cooking.
What brand is bleach free? Where do you buy the parchment paper? Thank you!
I didn't know parchment paper had chlorine! Thank you for sharing. Great tip! 💕🥰🌸
Great ideas. This video it’s so satisfying to see😍
Hi Randy, I really enjoyed the food prep video. I have just started doing some myself and you have given me some great ideas. Love the breakfast one and I am definitely going to try it. Thank you 💖
Hi Joanne! Having meals ready for the week saves time and money. So nice to just grab and go! Have a great week! 🌸💕😊

😂 I just can't bring myself to try it. It's good for the dogs, too. TFS.
You too! 🌸💕😊
LOVE your channel. Thanks for the inspiration!
Hi Patricia! We're running out of all our resources. Thanks for the reminder! 💕🌸😊
@@27foxplace I'm not trying to be rude or anything, I really do enjoy your videos. 😂
Love love the low waste!! Very corrrect !!
What great ideas! Definitely will incorporate these things
Hi Anastasia! That’s great to hear!
Me too today and I’m so happy because amazing channel
It comes with time. We never love housework until we tame it. I mean, you have to find a system to start from and do it the way it works for you best.
We all grow up in different environments and there is room for growth and improvement. Not everyone knows everything! I follow Diane in Denmark, she taught me a lot too.
What a pleasure looking at this video 😌
The dogs eating off the tray tho?
That way they can lick all the good fats up 😊
Just a thought - so if you save your cut offs like garlic or onion peals, anything cut off most veggies, collect them in a freezer bag till you have enough saved to boil a pot (or use the instapot) to make a veggie broth base - there are so many nutrients still in those items.
Soap and water prevent COVID...and everything is cleaned and sanitized before we use it again. 🌸🥰💕
Sorry, but that has nothing to do with COVID. It’s about bacteria 🦠 cross contamination.
I’m sorry but it is really gross to wash the dog bowls in your sink and let them eat from the tray. You should really separate them. Covid has nothing to do with this. Maybe run a separate load with all items touched by the dogs.
I love the idea of making banana bread mix in advance. I definitely will do that.
My heart sunk when I saw you offer the tray to the dogs and then use the dish sponge to wash their bowls... Dogs' saliva contain bacterias that can make humans really sick, also it isn't hygienic. Please be careful!
Hot soapy water takes of all the bad bacteria in the kitchen. I sanitize the sponge in the dishwasher too. 😉
@@Superfatcat2525especially when your three year old gives the dog some of his cream and finishes it!
I’m 67 and its a “wonder” how I’ve “survived” ignoring most of the the germ phobic concerns. Same with my 88 YO mom. Good grief! Just enjoy the video.
I really loved when you gave the fish skin to your dogs 🥺♥️ they don’t like just dog food they like human food too 🐶💙
It's great for the skin and coats, too! 🌸💕🥰
Yeah I saw them tearing something up on the sheet pan at the beginning of the video 😁🐶 they probably love prep day😊
Lost me when you let the “DOGS” eat off the baking sheet would never eat at your house 😱
Anyone knows people that give there dogs kisses on the snout? No? Just me?
Give me that baking sheet, I eat from that, no problem
Hi! Im so excited, I found your channel today, yay! It looks like its just what I need, thank you for that. I enjoy the stasher bags as well. Have a great day
Hi Deborah! That's awesome! Thank you, you too! 🌸💕🥰
The loud music is too distracting
I just hold my finger on the screen and it moves through at double time. I stop when she speaks.
I love the idea of having prepared banana bread mix. Will put a couple together. Thanks
You are so welcome!
