Cool to see you found those first figures in such good shape. I have been collecting Spawn figures for a very long time. I use to visit with Al Simmons at the McFarlane store and he would sign the figures I bought. I sure miss that store...Al was nice enough to get a few of them signed by Todd for me. Those were the glory days...keep up the videos. Great to see those old ones. I never collected the originals, just the later ones. 😉😁
Just today and yesterday, we went to an antique festival in my state. So, I was looking around and saw a lady with tons of Spawn Figures, and I’m a HUGE Spawn fan. I opened up a few boxes and crates and found these original 6 figures. I remembered where they were and kept looking around. Here’s the jackpot! I found all of these figures scattered around other boxes in their GOLD versions!!! I bought all 6 of them in gold for a total of $22, once I got home I researched and found out they go for $40 to $60 each. If she would’ve known what she was selling, I would end up paying ~$360!!!!!!

I'd just like to go on a bit of a tangent. Spawn has the perfect chance to be a horror-based superhero movie just like Venom did. If they would stick to just storytelling, and understand that less is more, then that movie would be great.
Medieval Spawn was my favorite. I took him every where as a kid

I honestly think that SPAWN will be the next big film in the next few years. Everyone is gonna start collecting the original spawn figures. I love them as well grew up with them and have a bit of a collection myself :) nice pickups sir!
You rock bro. Series 1 Overtkill is my favorite fig. I couldn’t help but to open it. I got a deal on 2 for like 25 I think. I opened the variant and kept the og mint
The spawn figures are like none other. I've been a fan since I was a young kid, and I'm just now getting back into them again. My absolute favorite would be the Nightmare Spawn. It's just something about that figure that's so wicked. I have a video of it on my channel if you want to see what it looks like. I definitely recommend getting one if you can! Usually there is one or two of them on eBay. You'd love it!
I really like the originals. I have some very rare numbered variants including the metallic repaints and the ultra rare 'Blue' Spawn. Thanks for the great video.

The samurai wars version was my fav!!
Both of the Classic Cover series's were some of the best action figures ever. Perfect sculpts and paints right out of the comic. I.043 is awesome for a 10$ figure at the time. But the Holly Grail of all spawns has to be the 20th Anniversary Resin Statue. I paid 750$ and was worth every dollar

Did you ever get the green Tremor? I didn’t see it in your video. It also came out with the first series variants. I use to have all of these plus series 2 & 3, and I even doubles to open... but then I had an ex-wife, and she gave everything to her son (he was 8 at the time). Long story short. *Poof* I was off collecting for awhile.
I don’t collect too many spawn figures, I only have a custom spawn used from a marvel legends figure, a violator from 1994 and an Angela figure from a line that I can’t remember. I would like to try and find a San and Twitch, and the newer spawn figures to keep on card
So excited for the reboot! Nothing more Canadian than Spawn too! Love the HBO Animated Series! Johnny sent me the Hamburger Head TRU Exclusive Figure in our trade. Love it.

I have a red violator in the original packaging :) It is rare to say the least, but it does exist.
Theres a variant for that overkill where the 5cents is handwritten on the parking meter by the factory. Hard to tell if you had one or not.

I'm putting all my spawn figures on eBay on 11/28/2018. I have figure from all the series up until 2005 or 2006. I have variants of figures. If you're interested I'll send you the auction info when I list it.

Pretty cool stuff! I am not the biggest fan of Spawn, but I do like older figures. I am about to past a video tonight that has some Predator toys in it from Kenner in 1993 that I thought you would appreciate.

There's so many variants of that first line, depending how serious you wanted to get. haha. For instance, there's a gold Violator (there's gold versions of each) and a black Violator besides the two you have. Then if you want to get super serious, there's variants with comic as the background of your red variant, etc etc. lol
Have you seen the versions of "Medieval Spawn II"? I think you'd like them a lot. And you have to get yourself a Malebolgia! :)
I'll be unleashing some new "old" Spawn figures I've been picking up. Just don't have display room for them yet, so been putting it off. haha.

Awesome thank you for all that info. I didn't realize there was that many variants out there for the original line. I don't think I ever saw one of the gold ones. I guess the quest still continues for the original variants :) I def. need to pick up the Malebolgia too. Thanks again.

I am a collector of spawn figures/ comic books and the term "mask-less" is kind of cringe to me..."hamburger face" is what we called him in the 90's lol. Other than that awesome video and very cool collection:)
I also wanted to know why the plastics trun yellow? in that case do you still keep it in since you can no longer see it in mean after that I doubt it's mint... in that case I would take it out..lol

it's not rerelease of the original.... Original Spawn is based on Todds drawings and new one is based on Cappulos....

Spawn toys are the best and that will never change. Everyone is on the marvel legends kick , but to me their just cheap ass toys that are overpriced.
Spawn blew me as a young boy. The toys were dark and cool.
