Hi Nick, well done for the shout-out to Paul. Lovely photo of the grandchildren. The blue pipe next to the south stand is water pipe. All water mains are done in blue polyethelene pipe. Has a lifespan if approx 100 years. Looking forward to your vid of inside stadium tour.

My son in law did a Bramley Moore tour with his other workmates from United Utilities next door, he asked when the pitch will be finished and how much seating had been fitted, he was told the pitch will be finished in 8 weeks, 50000 seats are now in place with 2000 seats left to be fitted. 😊😊😊

If you check again on what that Blue pipe was sitting on, you find that it part of the actual Dock wall.

Hi Nick, if you look close at the blue piping at the foot of the south stand it's sitting on the original dock wall that runs the full length.

It looks like the back seats of the upper stands are further away from the pitch than any at Goodison.The stands are in effect single tier stands with a corporate section in the middle. At Goodison the upper stands are above the lower stands.(EG if you look over the front of the top balcony you see the enclosure not the main stand)This could mean that rain will get on the lower stand front seats especially the away corner when the wind blows in from the SE. I would avoid seats at the back unless you have good eyesight or at the front and get wet or behind the glass vomitories---Any comment David Badcock?

The wind today at Crosby was a nightmare at west lancs for the open qualifying today I gave up after 3 hours today so I can imagine it was a struggle on site today
the piping will be for the drainage
I heard they were gonna dig down 3 feet as they put rocks in between the sand at the top so the top layers for heavy machinery wouldn't sink whilst they were constucting the Stand Sections..!! Only a rumour put sounds right and then they are gonna be 18inches below Grass level to lay a mixture of artificial grass, seed plants that will make the proper grass bend in easier as the grass is gonna be like a hybrid of real grass and artificial grass although it'll feel like real grass jyst makes it attach better so I've been told but if I've got parts wrong um sure you'll who know better will let us all know
Mr Drone. I presume the pitch will have a sprinkler, heating and drainage system incorporated. Keep a sharp lookout for all types of pipes.

QoTF: I'm not sure if you meant to use the word "turf" specifically or generically but they won't be laying turf specifically. Apologies for mentioning it if you meant generically. (They will be sowing seed from August, if the schedule for the rest of the pitch work still holds).

Early doors on this project, I set out to fill the void of ignorance, not in a perjurative sense, but to educate and cut out the fakery and wild misguidance. It was a committed cause but gradually the audience has generally bridged most of the gap, so there is less need for me to interject. Added to which there are a handful of others who seem very keen to get their words in early, also as educators. So, largely my mission has been successful. I do still step in occasionally but there is less need. being more in the background also reduces the chance of people snapping back at me because they don't like being corrected or because they object to being given fuller information.
Wonderful video once again mister drown ❤️. I did knowtise through to the disabled people area going through the walkway there seems to be some little steps leading up to the next floor was I right.

Can't help thinking there are a few missed opportunities at the new ground. Why aren't the inserts between the brick facades blue instead of black and why didn't the club sell the bricks from the panels at the sides of the steps on the West Mezzanine to fans for names like the South Stand 'stones'. Could have raised more money for the club. Hope there is going to be more Everton signage around the ground before it's finished also. Could you ask about Everton ' branding' when you meet with Laing O'Rourke, Nick?
The lack of branding is because of the heritage status of the docks. Everton wanted more blue and a sign with our badge on the outside of the ground, but Historic England and the council refused.
I think the fencing could maybe be for the advertising hoardings?also, why have they removed the seating in the NE lower section in the away end?

On a less important matter, I think the white material around what will be the pitch side track looks like gravel for a French drain and it will probably have a pipe in the bottom to take water away.
I am sure there will be piping for pitch draining and other piping for undersoil heating too.
With technology now we should be able to change our pitch to suit playing different ways depending on the visitors….
Also on the south side was that the old dock wall visible in the sand and running parallel in front of the stand

@@DuncTheBlue1878 Agreed, dunc, but the drainage on site over winter has been shocking. Sand or not it's been a Quagmire last winter.
I think i read that they would be removing that top layer of sand. That seems to be the case.

Just wanted to pick your brains a second, but is there barrel cladding not matching with the other end where the diamond pattern is there's 8 triangle one end and then it's different where they are finishing it off now.. just seems bizarre the same design is not all the way through the cladding... The ‘diamonds’ are air exhaust vents and they’re different depending on the number of extractor fans behind the barrel cladding.
there seems to be 2 access tunnels near the dugouts will on be for the starting XI from both teams and away subs to use and the other be for the home subs to gain easy access to the dressing room if needed ??
Pete: if you mean the tunnel to the south of the Home Dugout (at 8:37 mins), that's for 5 Accessibility-and-companion locations, which is why you will note that there is already the barricade being fitted inn front of that area.

I think that rugby league is probably going to be played there in the form of the majic weekend but Can you ask if the playing surface is big enough to hold an American football game as they do at spurs, this would be an excellent showcase in the USA and would draw a sell out crowd making it an excellent revenue stream
Should be okay as American football pitches are smaller than soccer.

Hi mate, when you have you tour can you ask if they will be adding any white seats spelling out EVERTON and EFC?
All seats will be blue. There’s a chance a sponsor will pay the club a fortune for their name or logo in white seats, but no plans to at the moment.

The fans will be very close to the pitch, similar to Tottenham stadium. It doesn't seem like 105m x 68m but of course it must be to meet new standards. Probably just camera angle.

The 105 x 68 is the pitch area, there will be a few metres all round too, although it does look tighter than that on the videos.
The first 10 rows are going to get soaked when it rains ? Please confirm.
Not if there’s no wind - all seats will be dry. If it’s windy, then some of the first few rows will get wet. If it’s the prevailing wind from the south west, the away fans will get a soaking 😆

I'd guess that the new Castore jersey will be released before the first pre season game vs Sligo Rovers on July 19th.
New kit announcement is ‘imminent’ apparently. Absolutely pathetic that we’re in July and still haven’t seen our new kit, when most of the other PL clubs wore theirs during their last game back in May. This is why we need a new owner, CEO and Chair.
