Thank you for the video. I actually gave up on my Ronin a while back because it was frustrating in getting it to work properly. Sadly, I missed one little step (which your video showed) and now it works. ALSO, side note about the Data cord connecting camera (in this case, Canon M50 M2) which I have, to the Ronin. A super easy fix is using one of the DJI Mavic connectors for your phone. I took one of the connectors and tried it here and it works beautifully. No need for 90º connectors. Just a thought. Less cord, no touching.
It appears that the seller I purchased it from on eBay has stopped selling them, here's a link to another one that looks to be identical. 1x Micro USB Male Plug to Type C Female Left Angle Jack Data Charging Adapter | eBay www.ebay.com/itm/173584608878
Will you do a video for a Canon M50 with Mark 2 & Gimbal for ref i.e you can potray yourself taking the shot in this entire set in park location with a guy singing and then some montage shots of people moving ( Basically Before & After Editing i want to know ) and also if possible will you add an additional wide zoom lense and upload the video ?
Good information. Thank you. Do you, or ANYBODY know, if there is some kind of quick release system for the strap? While not on the Gimbal, the strap is important (for me), but while on there it has to be removed. The Canon strap takes too long to put on the camera or take it off...
I have an important question! Is there is a free space too put the cable from the right side of the camera to the gamble it self?? + if i wanna put the cable in the raven eye but the cable not enough lens? What should i do
Very awesome video. I found it the most informative. Instructions by DJI need some work. I was hoping you could help me. I have my Mark ii set up and connected but when I push the record button it doesn't do anything. Is there a setting I have to set on the camera? Im brand new to using a gimbal
Mine doesn't work rec. Button doesn't work using dji cable. What should i do? My camera is the same m50 m2. Do i have to set it to my menu on camera? I am having a hard time to connect my gimbal on my camera
The Rona- Sc can handle a payload of 4.409 pounds of weight before issues may arise. It also has a slide mount to direct the weight forward or backwards to balance. I'm not sure what that camera and lens would weigh total but if it's under the weight limit I'm pretty sure you'll be able to balance it.
16:36 One is a riser plate and the other is the regular quick release mounting plate. Both come in the package with the gimbal. I would recommend using both if you plan on opening the battery door to switch batteries without having to completely take them off, the riser plate does this for you.
Which gimbal would u recommend for m50 users like me who likes to start with short film making and music vids. Also lenses, can dji ronin support m50 with long and heavy lenses?
When I double click the front button to recenter the gimbal, it is off aligned to the left. Does anyone know how to fix this. I have tried recalibrating several time but it does not fix the issue. Please help.
@@reviewittv1802 thank you! I guess it was too much weight, im just learning to balance everything for tge first time and i am having a hard time doing it
By Far, one of the best review videos i have ever seen , Very well covered in detailed, this is my definition of a perfect review , thanks a lot. But I just need a favor, I too have a Canon M50 mark ii, can you please help me with link of the usb port that i could use coz I dint get that too well... Thanks a lot.
Thank you for the awsome feedback!! If I am understanding your question right are you needing the link to the adapter for the cable to plug camera to gimbal?
@@reviewittv1802 Sir, just curious, what is that port used for? I mean can i not use the camera without having to use those cables? sorry I am very new to DSLR's an mirrorless cameras and also the gimbal, so I just wanted to know what is the main purpose of that port and cable, thanks for clarifying... I am keeping my purchase on hold just to get a better clarity from you so that I dont regret buying this gimbal later on, if not this, which other similar type of a gimbal would you suggest me for my Canon M50 mark ii?
@@Seedhe-Saadhe-Akshay-Akshay So the cable is to connect to the camera so if you want to use the record button on the gimbal itself to start the recording you can otherwise you don't have to plug the cable into the camera you can just use the Gimble and camera itself. The gimbal also has joystick to move the camera manually up and down ect. If you are going to use the app and phone to move the gimbal remotely that would be another reason for connecting the cable to control remotely if that's a function you want to use.
@@reviewittv1802 Thank you for clarifying, so now concern is will I be able to use the gimbal comfortably with the wires plugged in with the 90 degree adapter or will it hinder the axis movements ? That’s also my biggest and main concern sir, do you suggest me to go ahead with the purchase assuring it won’t really affect the axis movements of the gimbal
Thx for the awesome Video, One question, I connected the camera with the USB adapters like in your video, but the rec. button on the gimbal doesn't work, do I need to change a setup on the camera?
It should work I had a problem with a 90゚ angle adapter from amazon so I ordered the one that is on my set up now and it's worked fine I did put a link in the description Box. Make sure though the adapter fits the original DJI cable that came with the gimba.l
Same here I've had the Ronin SC for some time but using it with other cameras that are not compatible. Was excited when I bought my M50 Mark II today and it does not work when I hit the record button either. Not sure what is going on. Both camera and gimbal have the latest firmware.
A small rode mice on top of the camera can work or a larger mic mounted on the side of the Gimble can work also but check to see if you can still get the angles that you would use during that time because on some angle the mics will rub up against the gimble.

Hey does the long adapter cover up the hdmi input?
No, you still have access to the HDMI at the same time.
Which gimbal would u recommend for m50 users like me who likes to start with short film making and music vids. Also lenses, can dji ronin support m50 with long and heavy lenses?
I would recommend a DJI Ronin- 2, you can do everything that you mentioned as well as the payload supporting 30lb of equipment weight.
@@reviewittv1802 oh thank u for the recommendation. But I cannot afford Dji ronin 2 at the moment lol
Tilt axis is not completely balanced, and lens cap is not removed before the process.
What do you use for the focus? Do you put a focus ring on the lens? I’m not seeing one on the lens in the video
Auto focus and for manual focus you can just move the focus wheel on the Gimbal to adjust.
When I double click the front button to recenter the gimbal, it is off aligned to the left. Does anyone know how to fix this. I have tried recalibrating several time but it does not fix the issue. Please help.
Haven't encountered this issue yet but will follow up if I come across some info.
Can you use the gimbal to film Yourube videos.
Yes most of the videos I have filmed after this one was done with the gimbal.
The ronin s focus whell is compatible witch ronin sc?
The regular Ronin-SC as shown in video as far as other Ronin models I am not sure compatibility.
Is it normal that the whole thing vibrates when im trying to calibrate the gimball with the app?
This can be from either to much weight on axis motors or sometimes not unlocking the locks on axis points.
