Lucky! I go bonkers for Nightmare Before Christmas stuff. But I agree, the fact that it's battery operated is a drawback, I imagine the batteries would drain rather quickly especially if lights and sound are used. But it looks great on that wall! Keep it there! Stay spooky 🎃🎃🎃🖤🖤🖤👻👻👻
Great review, this is exactly what I was looking for when I seen the item In an AD. I woukd love an update on how often you have replaced batteries, it would probably be best to wire in a battery eliminator and just plug it directly to the wall. I'm willing to bet batteries don't last a month. Thanks again for taking the time to post this.

Aww, what a nice Mom you have. Very cool cuckoo clock. I did not receive anything Halloween related, but we did give a couple of Halloween related gifts to our daughter in law. They where some items for her Spooky Lemax Village. She loved them.

I’m having major issues with the cuckoo itself. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. All the batteries are in the right places. It lights up but the ghost dog never comes out.

@@HappyHaunting I finally got it to work! It had to do with the sound being too low & me not having it on the correct setting.
The part when you removed the sticker was classic. I totally do that all the time and I haven't learned by now. Most military manuals that I have read always say that at the end right after the instructions , a caution and a warning is always after the first few steps LOL
The lights are a nice added touch to the whole look.
It would have been nicer if they flashed or something though...

What would you recommend using to hang this on the wall given it's weight?
I am concerned the weight is going to be too heavy for normal hanging sets.
I think the heavier duty picture hooks work fine. It's not all that heavy.

I almost bought this for myself. I bought the Munsters cuckoo clock a few years ago (also by Bradford Exchange) and I really like it. Yes, they’re very delicate, especially since there’s no real good way to set it down while you’re preparing it for hanging. Very sturdy, but delicate at the same time. I would love to have a wall of various cuckoo clocks so maybe one day I’ll pick this one up!

There is a switch that you can turn the function on and off. Try turning it the other way.
I just got this. Ours is on and the pendulum is swinging but the clock isn’t changing time. Is there a button for the clock? We had no directions.
I don’t have mine displayed anymore and don’t remember. There was a switch on the side I believe but I don’t recall. Sorry.
