@@diwanshihere hi, I use retin A 0.025% , which is pure tretinoin, so check dr sam bunting and ribina guleria videos first (all of them) if you want to start tret. I started using it because of my pcod acne. I can't comment about the retinol from brands never used any. Rubina guleria has videos on brand retinols too. Her videos are very informative in indian scenario.
@@BeKingShorts hi, no I am not. I have just done a lot of research while I was searching about how to deal with my cystic acne due to pcod. If you are not desperate like me due to pcod then best will be to talk to a dermat first.
Skin care which includes actives/ something that dries your skin should always be coupled with peptides or something that protects your skin barrier. Unless you are constantly taking care of skin barrier, anti bacterial/fungal care, Sun protection etc, do not use products that will compromise your skin barrier. Sadly I see so many teen adults using actives/chemicals , which will scar them for life with chemical and skin burning. Protecting barrier, keeping it moistened is more important.
Session was insightful & informative. Thankyou ✨😊 Quick question to ask doctor: if we will cut down dairy because of oily acne prone skin, then what beverages we can have to replace tea, coffee with milk?
As u described that what to use for oily and dry skin... can u plz be more elaborate about how and most important when to use (day or night) specially niacinamide, retinol, salicylic acid, hyaluronic acid or any other you wish to add.

Well rehearsed answers. Plus if she is a morning person who likes to wake up before the sun comes up, how come she mentioned right in the beginning that she wakes up at 7-7:30 ? Takes the credibility away.
Everyone's having different choices but why would anyone get into botox and all such procedures just to took young at their 40s?? This podcast made me feel as if one should use retinol just to reverse ageing and look young....why? Why can't we simply embrace natural skin? Yes acne and other related skin issues are something which one can easily get rid of in a few years with consistency and proper discipline and that's a thing which one can try to work on as it's an imbalance which needs to be rectified - if possible but anti aging ? In our bengali culture , moms and aunties had good food and never really cared about looking young...they were pretty for their age and yes, anti ageing is an insecurity and utter BS.
This has to be on of the most interesting episodes!😍

My question is How to reapply a sunscreen. Can we wash our face every time or just wipe it with wet wipes.?
U don't have to wash or wipe just reapply on ur skin
What about when you have have makeup on sunscreen and need to reapply sunscreen?
0.5% retinol is too much for beginners. Start with 0.025% once a week for absolute beginners.
can you tell which retinol is good?
