Found secondary port at bottom of toilet was clogged with crystals. Top of bowl starts the spin but lower port....lower front ... is where the full force of water is coming from. I used a 50cent size wire brush to clean out this port. Trust me it saved a lot of work and wife was happy not having to hold down the handle

Get the after market NuFlush Champion 4 Flush Valve Replacement now it will work.

I was thinking of doing that too but isn’t the flapper diameter smaller (3 inches, compared to 4” on the AS one) on the nu flush?

A/S champion quick press short flush for pee!
    Press and hold for solids!
    It’s a water saver feature!

Hate this toilet. Should have gotten the Kohler from HD instead but they were out of stock. The flush mechanism sucks. You have to hold the damn handle down. Not so bad for the homeowner once you figure it out but guests who aren't used to it get frustrated.

You're totally right. All of my suggestions are garbage and retrospect. The answer is to throw it in the trash and buy a Kohler
