I do the math right, and the previewer shows no errors, but amazon keeps kicking it back at me, so I'm missing something that it won't tell me about.
Awesome video. I've had my books kicked back to me from KDP for measurements so many times I can't count. This seems to be the most comprehensive and thorough video I've watched yet.

I’m into day 3 of uploading. Thank you for this. I am changing among search platforms, download formats in Canva and types in answers. I will try your template at this point!!!! I am working on a Windows based PC with current up to date everything. I have a family member who is in the industry so I am incredibly grateful for the support on that part. I do sometimes wonder if my behind the scenes IT might be a bit ahead of the curve compared to KDP which has to be mass market. I will circle back when I get this sorted.

Thanks! You can upload your artwork into Canva and place your images on the pages then save as a pdf file.

All of my original coloring books have no bleed but it’s really a personal preference.
The blank pages are not necessary. They are there as fillers so that when people are coloring it doesn’t bleed through on the next page…if however they use a marker it will still most likely bleed through though lol. So…there’s that.

Thank You. What pages are the empty and which numbers are the coloring pages. Is it important ? looks like you have the design on the 4th page on the left side. Is that correct? I read somewhere where the design should be on the right side. Which way is better?
Did you show the settings for "with bleed" in this video ?
Question - I get the part with the sizes with bleed and no bleed. When I go into KDP it’s asking me to pick a trim size. My book on canva is 8.5x11 inches with no bleed. What am I picking for trim size on KDP? I don’t see 8.5x11 - it looks like they let you enter your trim size - do I enter 8.5x11?

If I am not wrong; you are suggesting to keep images n text inside the square, even for using bleed.
Am I correct....
I think the things you want inside the square are the things you don't want to get cut off, regardless of bleed or no bleed. Doing bleed makes Amazon not give you a white outline, and spread the colours to the end of the paper. So you can have things outside the square that can be backgrounds, but any vital word or image should be inside the square to not risk getting lost.
Will the even pages be the back?

Do you need to change the size of the cover when you do this?
I know you shared the link with me to watch this video ive watched it before ive watched alot if your videos i have the interior pages down its the front and back cover thats giving me the issue when it loads its in the center and there is no way for me to drag it over
I just want to clarify. You are adding the blank page in between because amazon does front and back pages and that will make the back of the coloring page blank, correct? Or is it to actually have a blank page in between each coloring page?

I thought the books with bleeds have no border. You created a book with bleed and then added a border. I thought that at the beginning you showed that pages with bleed extend to the edge of the page. Please advise.
Okay, let me explain it a bit better. Bleed means the colors or images go all the way to the edge of the page, without stopping. It's like they're spilling over a little bit.
But sometimes, even if a book has bleed, you might still want to add a border, and that's fine! Adding a border means putting a frame around the edge of the page, kind of like putting a frame around a picture on the wall. So, even though the colors or images still go all the way to the edge of the page, you can still have a border around them if you want.

Does anyone have ready templates in canv for KDP Amazon 8.5x 11 size with bleed, I can't figure it out, maybe someone could send me how to set it up for myself? I would appreciate your help with this topic.
When I use Canva the quality is always blurry. I attempted my own art and the AI images generated. No luck. You can tell the pixels are low quality.
Sorry to hear that it’s not working for you. Have you attempted researching an artist whose working is not blurry and hiring them?
