Also our first home living space is all new white tiled on the whole ground floor. So the living space on the ground floor is there the rug will go. The theme in the living room is sandstone colour sofa (velvet), sandstone curtains (similar fabric) very light coloured oak doors and white walls with white low down tv stand and glass table with light oak legs and that will be sitting in the rug along with the sofa together going the full width of the sofa and table sitting full on next to the sofa. Do you think this will go with the rules you set? Will this look good? About to order if could quick reply thanks! Will Sub!

She speaks with a little bit of vocal fry. She does sound a little nervous. She might even have some medical issue we aren’t aware of, or some issue with her vocal chords (&its none of our business really). Be nice 🥺🙏 ps. As a singer, i’d say she could maybe benefit from some simple breathing exercises/or breath work to help with both nerves & supporting her voice. If she wants to go for bigger guns she could try vocal coaching, some teachers work specifically with your speaking as well as singing voice. ✌️
I think she is just yelling as she speaks so it sounds like she is spitting at the camera

Good video and informative, although I find your voice not relaxed or more like anxious. Relax your voice and be more calm and speak through calmly no need to worry. Use flexible words no need to sound like an IKEA advertisement. Use your own wording. I hope this comment doesn't come out as bad, but more encouraging for you to do better and to point out few things to work on.

These are great tips. I just purchased my fist home and I’m having a hard time picking a rug for the living room. I have a grey couch and 2 yellow accent chairs. I want a cozy feel. Do you hav any suggestions on color??

Good looking out on the rug pad.
When you are recording these videos it would be easier for the ears if you place the camera on face level hight and not speak with a high pitch. I understand why you have this setup but it is not easy to listen to you. Also, it is a lot better if you show more of the project you are working on or explain than to just film yourself talking about it.

Should I get a rug pad for a floor that has carpet?
I have a natural white oak wire brushed flooring with knots visible.basically its a little patterned flooring. I would buy plain furniture. still I was wondering of I should consider a plain rug instead of a petterned one because of the flooring. could you suggest please?

Been a mission finding the right pattern. Couch is black as well as the curtains. Floor has that faux marble pattern...
One more question - My dining room walls are muted green /light olive green in color and dining table is 6 seater dark brown with white curtains on back wall- what color/pattern of rug will work for this. Thank you in advance.
What if your couch is grey and recliner is brown? And your floors are a stone look with colors of tan and grey
Then no need for a rug just get a contractor to dump two trucks worth of Caribbean powdery beach sand in there.

I would have listened to more than a minute if your weren't stretching your neck up to look at the camera and yelling at me. Two simple things for video. Look direct at camera and don't yell.
Couldn't watch the whole video because of the grating voice. Less pressure on the larynx will help.

The rugs out there are horrid , the clo rs uds are antiquated and old fashioned and if you come across something half decent they want so much money you've got to win the lottery to be able to buy that, the greed out there is chronic
