I was judging Hyeonbin so hard at first as a rude child, but he is just bottling up a lot of sadness and disappointment. When he cried I just wanted to hug him, he probably misses his Mum so much too. I hope his relationship with his Dad improves. This was a nice episode I really enjoyed the different story. What a cute family!
I think Jose is too nice with his son because he feels bad for him for not having his mom around. He is also working so hard for his son so it honestly broke my heart when Hyeonbin ignored him. I hope after seeing this ep hyeonbin will change his behavior towards his dad.
I grow up without a mum too, so I understand the little boy 😔 I know one day he will love his dad a lot and see how much his dad did for him. I know this boy is sad without his mum but he needs to know that his dad loves him
Wow, I saw them at Nami Island. I was so shocked to hear Latin music there. Me and my friends started dancing and loved the vibe, the people around were enjoying the music a lot too but they weren't as loud and cheerful as we were, so some locals started recording us dancing to him playing Lambada. That's one of my best memories of Nami Island, the band's energy was so cool. I'm so shocked to find him here now, his story is amazing, he is a great father! I hope he can get along with his kid. His kid is just going through the tough teenage years, as he grows up he will realize what an amazing father he has.
Also, I wish Jose taught his son Spanish, that way when can't communicate in Korean he can say it im Spanish. Spanish is easier for expressing feelings anyway. The son needs to understand that his father is struggling in a foreign language, and make an effort to understand each other.
I would be nice for his son to learn Spanish. But his father also lived in Korea for 20 years and you would think he would a little bit better in Korean after living there for so long.
Bravo Jose! You and your bandmates represented Ecuador well. Thank you for coming to Korea and sharing your culture with its citizens. You're courageous and kind and the world needs more people like you.
He is one lucky child. He might not have his mom but he has a dad who loves him to bits. At his age he might not fully appreciate his dad's efforts but one day he will. His dad is doing everything so his son won't experience the hardships he's had because he didn't have a degree. His son also has a good heart just does not know how to show it.
I understand that the father needs to be both mom and dad but he needs to be firmer and discipline his son. hopefully the son can mature and realize how hard his dad tries.
I can understand the son. My parents split when I was still a baby but going into 2nd grade, my dad got custody of me and my relationship with both my parents were good. Though as I got older I was tired of having to pick sides, I'm not longer close with my mom and I tend to give my dad lots of attitude even tho I know he tries his best. I can't express my feelings to him anymore, that stopped around 7th grade. I'm a sophomore now and scared my relationship with him will only get worse. I wish I grew up with two loving parents.
Honestly a lot of kids with divorced parents have a hard time forming a bond with one or both parents. Especially if the parents try and put the kid in the middle of everything. I can tell you myself as a kid from a divorced family that it gets a LOT easier when you become an adult. It's easier to build a bond with your parents when they no longer feel the pressure of teaching you the ways of life and instead can be your support as you start making your own choices. Don't worry about your relationship falling apart with your parents, it _will_ get better in a few years. They're always going to be your parents and they're always going to love you.
I feel you. My parents split up by the time I entered kindergarten. My mom has custody of me and I used to see my dad during the weekends and holidays, or during his time off from work. As years passed as I got older my relationship with them got worse. I'm 18 now and I don't see my dad as often as I used to. Our communication is shaky and we don't seem to be on the same page. He's honest but aggressive. That's what I hated about him but if their is one thing I regret is not being honest with him because I used to be afraid of him and kept my thoughts and feelings to myself. 😔
In case anyone was wondering what the name of the song that the dad sang at the end it's called "Don't worry, dear" by Lee Juck. That song came out in the Korean Drama called Reply 1988 and when I heard the dad sing it I got emotional 😭. That song has a deep meaning and it reminded me of the Korean drama which was one of the best I've ever watched. I got annoyed by the kid but then I understood what he was going through cuz I went through something similar. I laughed when the female MC asked the kid if he knew his dad loved him and then the male MC said "What would he know at that age they don't know love " or something like that 😂😂 I hope that the band won't disband I want to hear them when I go to Korea one day.
Dios Lo Bendiga :)
I understand the son because I had a similar childhood experience. I know he will regret this later and be forever sorry for how he treated his father. I would have never been allowed to act like that though, I would have probably been punished dearly.
I'm officially a big fan of them(^_^) woow what a talented band!! I want to see the full version of that song covered by them! they nailed it! pleaaaaaz do it! pleaaaaaz!!
Jose is a real single parent , he works , sends money back home , cares about his sons future AND he is a man in a foreign land That man is a real hero
The son is rude and ungrateful. Shouldn't he love his dad more as his mom left him at a tender age & didn't look back? Kids must be taught values at home and at school well. We all go through puberty and some kids don't have a parent or parents but not all behave like this. The poor father is of foreign origin, is struggling so much but giving him a good life yet look at the boy's behaviour. One must not justify such atrocious spoilt attitudes.
Why every time Koreans get a divorce , one of the parents literally abandons their children?..in Western both parents keep their rights for a weekly visit at least or during holidays. Divorce equals for the child to also "divorce" with one of the parent.
being away from home to provide for the family is really hard. it is a heavy responsibility you have to willingly carry on the lightet side, my dad would of given me an ass whooping for not answering when he asks🤣 Jose is a sweet dad
@KBS World TV, why I cant watch the rest of the episode...please make it possible for Malaysia too..I am very interested to watch the muslim family live in Korea...please fix this asap. Thanks in advance.
bruceb3 full eps of kbs variety shows become available in australia on youtube 3 weeks after they are aired. it is due to agreements kbs have with the distributors in certain regions, including australia. that is why they started making highlight clips of variety shows.

deeeeeeezzzzaaaa he's half Korean, his mum is Korean, but she left him but he keeps her last name and his Korean name because he's living in Korea
ahh right I see :)
The last song gives me a chill. I am rooting for you and your family, Jose. Wish your band will keep being busy and successful!!!

Dino Korean is already a very emotionally expressive langauge..
If you look in their fb page. You can see his son playing in the band nowadays playing different instruments. That's nice to see.
I'm so proud of him ... I'm Ecuadorian and watch him promote my culture is so comforting and amazing ...
I cried....beautiful dad and son..❤️

Jose's such a great dad. He is doing his best for his son. I hope for success for both of them and the gang. This is the best episode so far

The info to the song actually shows up in the captions... also Lee Juck's version isn't the original one.

Why isn't this show available to Australians?
cause your internet is to slow. double check with your kangaroo and it should work.
bruceb3 full eps of kbs variety shows become available in australia on youtube 3 weeks after they are aired. it is due to agreements kbs have with the distributors in certain regions, including australia. that is why they started making highlight clips of variety shows.
I like that music
what's the song that played when the son gave the father the silent treatment?
B1A4's Sandeul's Solo,
Is the son half Korean? They didn't mention about his mother's background.
Español!!
am i the only one who thinks hyeonbin is really..... really handsome?
chae hyungpepewon he gives me jungkook pre debut vibes😳
Me too. He reminds me of Park Bogum
He reminds me of G dragon!!!!!
Also the translations are wrong
