We did it with just BST(I have Aymur tho, so my TP drainkiss is almost capped). You TP on add and only WS on Mboze. That way DRK, COR, BRD can all WS Mboze until 25% with just TP drainkiss every 30 sec. At 25% you do Unleash and they can keep going. When Unleash ends, DRK solo WS until then end. We had RUN tanking add and armor breaking Mboze too. We also had WHM, which is imo not ideal, but we had no other jobs. Optimal imo is using BLU to cure and also to DPS (tp on add too and Expiacion Mboze) and additional tp reset too. That would be both safest and fastest. So DRK BRD COR RUN BST BLU. You would just need remedies to deal with paralyze.
Cleared on BST as well... Found being on the stairs behind Mboze and the add was better... No risk of paralyze or pet death... Was able to position around 11 yalms away with no issues...
Am i losing my mind? i thought the Charmers Merlin was dead? Ready is a 30 Second base, Minus 10 from Merit1, for 20 seconds, Minus 5 from 100JP Gift for 15 Seconds, and Minus 5 for gletis legs for 10 seconds, which is cap.....
What does DRK, specifically, bring to this fight? Wouldn't WAR or SAM do the same job? Good Subtle Blow sets are available for both, and Tachi: Ageha can provide 25% Defense Down with no need to switch weapons mid-fight. I've only just done this at V10, but I've done this as SAM with a SMN and BLU clearing it's TP. It's come down to the wire a few times (less than 30 seconds), but it was a pretty simple/stress free run. However the group is concerned with this strat working at higher Vengeance levels.
It's mostly about Soul Enslavement. That's 30 (60 if you luck out with Wild Card) seconds where the DRK can go to town without worrying about feeding it TP and getting murdered during the sub-25% time where everything is otherwise at its most dangerous.
I have done it with SAM w/ Subtle Blow Capped.. many times on V15.. Its the same thing, and Yaegasumi gives a great defensive option after Unleash wears off.. its 30 seconds and it can survive many AOEs and boost the DPS for the remaining HP of Mboze ... Shouldn't be much left of Mboze after Unleash wears off... Sam with Meditate + Meikyo + Yaegasumi = Rapid Finish.. Especially with Capped R:20 Nyame..
I thought "Charmers Merlin" became extinct with the change to BST merits and "Gleti's Breeches" replacing "Desultor's Tassets" for Ready recast? Is this advice for fresh BST without 100JP?
@@Quijanoh1 its pretty much 100% tp drain once you max out the aymur's tp bonus and JSE hands will ensure you're pretty much always at capped TP after the first drain. I really wish the BST Gift for TP Was 400 TP instead of 40, so we could have a nice clean +2000 Pet TP ;_;

Using merits instead of merlin and aymur for tp bonus is a huge boost since drainkiss scales with pet tp.
