Quite sad really when you think of all of the families who it played host to over the years and who passed through its doors. At this time of year it would have been packed with holidaymakers.
Someone was definitely in that hotel curtains closed but after you walked around the building they were open
100% , nice hotel to squat in , especially with the power still on and with washing facilities. Thanks for watching.
Wow! Thanks for this vid! Such a shame to see this place looking so derelict. Stayed here 17 years ago with my mother. Believe it or not she saw a ghost at the foot of her bed. Other eery events throughout our stay which we’ve never forgotten! Are you sure those noises were squatters? 🙈
I think it was a squatter as i saw the curtain twitch too plus i could smell weed on the ground floor. But you never know. 👻
I live rlly close to it and haven’t been going recently it’s so much more destroyed now all windows boarded and smashed everything inside smashed up and sorta painted

I was here a few weeks ago it's creepy on your own not as creepy as walking round the Royal Hotel on your own though
I just posted my video of the Royal it's extremely amateur just a 7 minute unedited rubbish video lol of me trying to find the indoor swimming pool.
I just watched it and subbed you , it's a good video the pool was down the stairs at 4.48 into your vid lol.
@@ExploringHabit I did manage to find the pool in the end lol but I didn't video that part i was rushing around as it was starting to turn to dusk and I was getting a bit freaked out in there by myself kept imagining someone or something was going to jump out at me for from one of the rooms😬
@@ExploringHabit thank you for the sub. I didn't make my videos with the intention of uploading them to RUclips I made them to show friends and family the places I've been they are pretty rubbish to be honest I don't have a clue how to edit or anything but it's a little record of my explores.
I know this was made almost a year ago but has the policed fenced it off or anything or is it still open to the public?
There is a wall just to left of the fences near front entrance and then if you follow round right from by pool there is a conservatory area you can enter building from
I bet the housekeeping staff dont miss working there!
Considering non of the tips ever reached the hard working staff.

I was up with another person looking around it yesterday again and encountered the police they had no problem with us being there , somehow between the last 7 days someone's been up stripped all the light fixtures and stolen all the garden furniture from the conservatory and outside the pool
Less security these days due to inflation etc etc. Shame it's not being taken over. It's a nice hotel.

Just checked online , wouldn't suprise me if it's arson.
Explored here about 8 months ago, amazing place. The very top was so atmospheric, very creepy. We found a room that had clearly been used by squaters but didn't see anyone. Went to visit again about 2 weeks later but the tour bus had since been and security had fully secured it.
I like these old hotels they have so much more character than boring modern buildings they knock up these days. Glad it's secure and not been set on fire like so many have.
@@ExploringHabit absolutely. It's a beautiful building. The room at the front with the open door was used by squatters, lots of food and drink laid around. The main door to the kitchen was fully open when we went. Had a blast exploring but was pretty trashed, sadly.

Normally I see people share the explore but not the location just to try and preserve it for a bit of time
