I suppose for the sake of being transparent, I should go over my setup as well. Though, I'm no longer sponsored or anything, but I used to be, so I stick with the same products I used back when I was. I use Globe shoes, Volcom clothing, Element decks (my current deck is the "Public Enemy" deck) Thrasher grip tape (with the green spray paint logo that says "Thrasher Magazine" on a classic black background, Bones Swiss bearings, Speed Demon wheels, and Shorty's hardware for the screws and bolts. I do use other Element decks, in general, but that is my current setup. I'm a disabled combat veteran now, but before my military career, I was a sponsored professional skater on the Element team back in the day.

Dam dude that’s awesome! Really appreciate you watching my video! It is always awesome to hear people’s stories about how they got into skating and that sounds like a awesome board set up for real 🔥
I really want a twin tail, shame they’re usually more expensive than a normal deck

Yeah I feel you they are a bit pricey but you can snag them for a good price every now and then! I got this one for like $59. Thanks for watching homie I appreciate you 👍🏻
I will have to admit to a bias, but I use Independent trucks. The bias does come from being sponsored by them from 2004 to 2013.

Yeah bro I feel that! Plus there really isn’t a bad truck brand really at the end of the day it is up to everyone’s personal preferences. Like I said in the video I’ve been rocking thunder trucks for years and have been super biased with them but I think the slappys are better.
Down flat up rail alone was worth soty... like a video game grind... i might try that board out next... and i got pre-ordered a set of grind king lockers... they look soooo orange. My ankle is tweaked gotta chill for a bit

Yooo I was just thinking about getting some of those for a video! Let me know what you think about them. For real I’m stoked he won it this year. That’s a bummer bro hope you heal up for sure!
They're not coming till February or something like that... maybe I'll do my first review video on them. Honestly that's why I landed a few front crooks and got back crooks about 40%... want to see how different it feels
