Thank you! You two are so unpretentious and approachable. Thanks for including the price of the foods. I am a fellow Californian and see the prices as realistic and fair. I can imagine surprise or outrage from anyone not from a major metropolitan area. So your inclusion of prices gives anyone a heads up for consideration if that food is an option for them.
Yay!! I’ve visited Little Tokyo before but didn’t know what food place to try >_< this video was really helpful :D thank you guys so much and you’ve gained a new subscriber 💕☺️
Also for Udon, a nice feel at home Japanese Udon Restaurant in Gardena called Kotohira. It's in the plaza on the corner of Western and Redondo Beach...it's next to the Pho restaurant.,
01:05 Hachioji is the first city I lived in when I moved to Japan! It's about 40kms to the west of Shinjuku. 八王子は私の日本の故郷です! Hachioji is my Japanese hometown! You were 100% correct with your pricing assessment of that Ramen. $12.95 was way overpriced for the same item in Tokyo.
U guys should take a foodie trip to Charleston SC. It will remind u a lot of New Orleans. The seafood is incredible and their whole hog bbq is legendary. Lots of bars and live music make the nightlife fantastic!
The pdx sushi place is really great ramen and 🍣 but too much spicy but taste great 👍...i love 💘 tempura roll...9 dollars expensive but alot ypung people like them they have ramen and salmon dinner
Love your vlog! Would love to check out all the Ramen shops in LA sometime. Have you guys tried Kizuki Ramen (Kukai in Japan) yet? We have several of locations in Seattle and I think there is one in Beaverton, OR too. If not you should check them out he next time you are up in the PNW! -Steph
Hi Bill and Lisa..there's a very popular Ramen spot in Gardena, close to the Target on Redondo Beach and Van Ness called Shin-Sen-Gumi Hakata Ramen. Very good place for Ramen. Always crazy packed so I suggest you guys get there early.
@@billandlisa I love Daikokuya. Tried Shin Sen Gumi but was not as big as fan as I was for Daikokuya but that is personal preference because they are supposed to be different types of ramen. When I want matcha softserve I usually pick Tea Master over Midori Matcha.
Great video!!! Heading to LA next week. What's your favorite? I"m only there for the weekend so hit me up with your best. Will definitely try burgers never say die.
@@bighead391 Best ramen places are hard to say, so much personal taste goes into the selection. That said, Tatsu, Shin Sen Gumi, and the place we went to in this vlog are note worthy and worth a try.
So annoying how much ramen and pho places are charging today in the States! Takoyaki is one of my favorites. Fun review as always! By the way, Little Miss BBQ here in the Phoenix area just started selling a green chile burrito on Mondays. www.phoenixnewtimes.com/restaurants/little-miss-bbq-barbecue-special-green-chile-burrito-11298515
Daikokuya is overrated. We waited two hours to get in and it isn’t someplace you should go out of your way for. I’ve had better ramen in Torrance alone. They just got overhyped from Yelp for idk what reason. Not worth it. Again, not awful but just not the best as everyone states it to be. I highly recommend Daikaya in Washington DC. It’s always crowded cuz its small but worth the wait. Go during off hours and wait it shorter. Best ramen I’ve had and noodles made in house. I actually still crave and think about it to this day
Sunday after church 11am. Best time, I love the black garlic surfer Frank Downey ❤
White peach calpico is my favorite too!

Yes, we try and include whats of the menu prices and/or mention what we paid for the meal. Thanks for watching, Wendel!
I love your videos and especially I love the way both of you interact with each other. Pure love
You guys are so adorable! ❤️
Enjoyed your video! I'm visiting LA this week, and you've given me some new places to try when I hit Little Tokyo.
YES!!!! Just what I needed! New video with the most beautiful couple on the planet! Love you both! Thanks for the new upload guys!
Thank you, Tania!
I enjoyed watching you guys.
Love your video. Tip: park at the city lot at 1st st. & Judge John Aiso st. north west corner. $1 hour, $3 flat rate after 5pm.
Great tip! Thanks 1Sano!
It's never empty like that when I've been there. Lucky you!
You guys are awesome! Ramen is one of my favorites. I look forward to your vlogs every week!
We love ramen too! Thanks for watching, Owen!
Another great video👍 Keep em coming!
Thanks Winnie!

Thanks Samantha! Have fun exploring and eating your way through Little Tokyo!
Enjoyed the variety of Japanese delights and that you both knew of the foods and how they should taste v. Taste.
Yum to you both
Thanks Ramsey! We're no Japanese food experts, only know what we like, and happy to share our thoughts. =)
Excellent video, thanks for another great one. Also, Lisa - I absolutely love your drinks/martini t-shirt! I think I might just need one in my life!
Lisa said she got it a couple years ago, it's her drinking shirt. haha
Perfect attire for your next NOLA trip 😊
You could have had a ramen tonkatsu burger to celebrate burger day again
Also for Udon, a nice feel at home Japanese Udon Restaurant in Gardena called Kotohira. It's in the plaza on the corner of Western and Redondo Beach...it's next to the Pho restaurant.,
Bookmarked! Thanks for the recommendation, Jose!
Ramen detox...luv it. When I saw midori macha I expected a green tongue from Lisa.
LOL! Like the red tongue from the Hurricane at NOLA? haha
lately I've been in a crazy Japanese food addiction love ramen and mochi
Time to hit up your local ramen joint, AT! lol
Fantastic video
Come to TORONTO! I'll take you around!!😁
We still need to make it out to Canada!

Thanks for validating, OMOC! It's time for us to re-visit Japan soon, we miss it.
Great day guys!!!! Enjoy!
Thanks J!
I love watching your vids, but ya'll make me hungry!!
LOL! Sorry RR! We have that effect with our vlogs. haha

Oooh... BBQ! Yes, we still need to make it out to the Carolinas!
I think its hilarious when he gets impatient with Lisa sometimes. Hes like hurry up and eat already lol
LOL!
Have you tried Ramen Sora in Vegas?! Soooo good!
Have not, thanks for the recommendation!

Wow everything looks so good and since I won't be making it to Japan I think these prices are very reasonable
Overall, prices weren't too bad for LA. Worth a visit here to try out the food!

It's on our list of local ramen places to try! Thanks for the tip!
That was my fav ramen place when I lived in LA!!!
As far as taste, it's very good! There are so many ramen joints popping up in Little Tokyo now, including Shin Sen Gumi!

Music starting at 3:50 is addictive.
Funny, we talked about that song playing, saying that it sounds like a soundtrack from a 70's Japanese action show like Go-Ranger! haha
Yayyyy new vid 😍
I am going to check it out
For sure you'll like it, Tanya! Lots of food and shopping there!
Great video!!! Heading to LA next week. What's your favorite? I"m only there for the weekend so hit me up with your best. Will definitely try burgers never say die.
One place to try for sure is Langers (their #19) for their iconic LA pastrami sandwich!

I’m curious, are these shops run by real Japanese or is it like here in New Orleans every Japanese restaurant in run by Vietnamese
It varies, seen some Japanese, some not. It's LA, big melting pot.
Bill & Lisa's food and travel vlog thank you
Great Vlog u two. I'm a white caucasian. Never cared for Japanese food to be honest. I do like Spam food though.
We love Spam too! So much that we visited the Spam museum in Austin, MN!
