E-brake/handbrakes are only found in Manual cars. In Automatic cars you shift the gear into park (P). So this guy was trying to steal a manual car, is what I'm saying.
People can steal cars with nothing but a wire hanger and maybe a pair of pliers to help hotwire the vehicle. He had keys... The actual keys to the car... and could barely leave the parking lot.
Listening to him plead and beg and whine and say things like "Pleasee nooo." "Please don't do this to me!" as if he actually thinks he's done nothing wrong and has the right to be doing what he's doing, pisses me off to no end. He is attempting to steal someone's property, and he's begging to get away with it.
Unfortunately some people think they are entitled to property that somebody else is working hard for and they don't realize or care what kind of financial and even career impact that can have on somebody. Personally, I'm fine with the old school ways of dealing with thieves, by cutting off a hand. Thieves are some of the worst kind of criminals behind rapists and murderers.

I work at a Honda dealership. Do not *ever* get your car serviced at a car dealership. They do not give a flying FUCK and will do everything in their power to get more cash out of you. Oil changes and tire rotations aren’t so bad… very basic clockwork stuff. It’s when you send in a vehicle to a technician to get advanced or otherwise side work done (transmissions as an example) they will completely fuck you over as most as they possibly can. We have about 5 or 6 cars that have just been thrown to the side, they’ve been at the dealership for about 2-3 weeks, I’m not even sure if have of them have been touched. Also the techs are allowed to work at their own pace, and if they don’t wanna do a job, they simply won’t, Usually the foreman ends up doing those jobs though at some point.
