My favorite show 🔥🔥🥳🥳
Looks like this has been in the works for a while. This comment is over a month old.
Bro if your englishing not espada it's sword 🗡️
I feel robbed if I don't hear Doug say "It will keal" twice in an episode.
Does anyone else like it even more when Doug beheads the ballistics dummies?
After cutting the skull in half and disemboweling the dummy, it did seem a bit superfluous. Cool, but superfluous.
@@RandallHallKaizenReiki but still cool
Oh Yeah!!!!
Its the best part, I'm still waiting to see one bisected across the abdomen though
@@RandallHallKaizenReiki It´s a demonstration. If it was the real deal, the dummy wold be dead in the first hit...
Given what the first spatha did to the dummy, this was the single most disappointing disqualification I've seen on Forged in Fire. Really wanted to see some more testing.
Yea but rules are rules and not meeting all the spec means it can't be tested sadly.

@@kalanimoeai584 WTF? The goofball who failed was given very specific instructions, blame him.
You can always tell when a blade fails when the video is more detailed on the forging process. If both blades work well they always show a bit less of the forging and more of the test
That's what I was thinking as well while watching this - and for once they showed more of the concerns each smith had during their process.
Giving the money back to he's parents who helped him wow that's a real gentleman and smith wish I could buy a sword from this young master great amazing beautiful sword he made a masterpiece

@@davidmedd8573 that's how you show em! Be the same person!
Came here to say this.
@@latenightcereal2390 you see the irony here? You just did the same thing genius.
I love how authentic Will is in his regret. Like he has the look on his face like "ahhh I really dont want to do this".
The way no-one wants to win, by default without the other blade even being tested.
@@KermitFrogThe I know, right? And this way, we never get to see how the blade would have held up to the full range of tests.
I'd like to see those weapons tested, even though the winner was already declared, unless the weapon is unsafe for testing. It'd appreciate the craftmanship of the weapon and its maker to see it in action regardless if it is a DQ'd weapon.
@@Anonyomus I agree.
Indeed. He has a face of "Oh man, I really wanted to see that in action"
Alex look so satisfied when dough beheaded that ballistic dummy with Alex sword only in one swing
I thought that he looked kinda scared of his own creation.
@@timjowitt4882 exactly. Kind of like he knew it was good but to behead the dummy in a single blow was too lethal for him.
I love how he always says “it Will kill” with the biggest And kindest smile on his face 🥺🥺🥺🥺
He spells it KEAL... Stands for Keep Everyone ALive
@@jaynoxjay I know it's keal but .. it will kiiillll 🤣
It used to be : it will KILL, now it's 'Keal'? Test is about killing, not kealing. Cutting test is about cutting, killing test is about killing.
Even here political correctness moved in.
H u h
I wonder if they made a morning star in the show :0 i havnet watched these videos in 7 months
When you watch too much forged in fire and you start shouting out what they should be doing 😂
The contrast of doug massacring a ballistic dummy and then explaining how beautiful and good the blade is while having blood covering him is absolutely amazing
Alex is such a cool son, giving his prize to his parents
They probably have a lotta money no sane young person would do that otherwise
@@Oldysrv Nope, he was just brought up well , and knows he was lucky with his parents who has given him everything he needed, and more.. Filial piety.
Just have a suggestion, before testing the sword just give a close up view of both the work, so we can admire the beauty of the finished swords
Agree I don't get why they barely show the blades.
The kid´s sword is one of the best that I ever seen. Beatiful damascus pattern.
This one and the crusader sword are some of the most devastating swords on the show
that man has just way to much fun testing
That is easily the most impressive weapon I've seen on this show. It was strong enough to bash through the skull on the first hit, and by the last hit it was still sharp enough to decapitate cleanly. Every single blow was above and beyond a kill shot. Bravo, Alex!
Even though that other sword failed to meet a specific parameter crowning the other guy the victor, the losing sword should have just been used anyways for the sheer fun of it, I also wanted to see how well it would have worked.
Why give that guy a run at all, he didn't make a weapon to qualify? Send the guy home...
As much as I would love to see it get used on the kill test they don't have a choice, the weapon needs to meet the parameters in order for it to be judged fairly and accurately, no exceptions can be made.
@@BobBob-ui6ot But the point was that the competition part was already over: the audience would like to see how a DQ'd weapon would perform just for the sake of entertainment.
A DQ'd weapon can still be a good weapon overall, even though it isn't qualified for competitive testing.
@@BobBob-ui6ot Do you people really watch this show just to see a winner? There's no reason not to try out the blade after the winner was already announced
@@smirfbroil6934 That isn't the point. IT IS A COMPETITION after all. In an competition, if it doesn't meet the parameters it does not get tested.
Kevin : You can't disqualify me... this is madness !
Judges : Madness ? This... is... NOT A SPATHA !!!
Alex knocked it out of the park from start to finish from the pattern weld on the blade the prominent medial ridge to the handle and pommel construction, every part of that sword is gorgeous.
Really is a shame that testing didn't continue, i would have liked to have seen if it performed as good as it looks.
I love Doug's expression at 7:44
I love how this show is all about the blades and the hard work the contestants do and absolutely 0 of the drama most shows like this are centered around.
finnaly this amazing show got its own youtube channel cant wait to more forged in fire episodes on youtube
What do you mean finally? They've been uploading videos for like 3 years
@@theycallmeJacko yeah but it was on history channels youtube page and it was künda difficult to find the videos i like or want because this is not the only show that history channel makes. so now i can just get in here and find then watch what i want
@@theycallmeJacko channel is a 3 months old and this is a second video.
There’s been videos for quite some time now this must be a new channel
did you just gave show a gender?
It must be soul destroying doing all that work and leaving straight away, but that other blade was amazingly beautiful.
Wish we see how the lions head came out.
The fellow who lost was heat treating at way too hot of a temp for the steel. And he was wondering why the blade kept curving. The judges have all said before that there should be little to no actual flame on the quench. He had a bonfire! And the winner didn't have a bit of flame on that beautiful piece of work he presented.
Also, his blade wasn't glowing red like most of the others who quench their weapon. I was wondering if it will be hot enough to harden the blade. Apparently, it did because it sliced through that ballistic dummy like it was a butter.
There's that temperature the steel needs to be at to be juuuuuust right and those experienced fellows can nail it almost every time
One of the most brutal tests of any weapon on this show, truly excellent. Bravo to the winner.
wow that was an impressive kill test for the first sword
That he gave it all to his parents shows a selfless heart.
5:30
That is the most beautiful blade contrast i’ve ever seen!!
One of the very few smiths that can do "Damascus to impress the judges" and not "dUmUsCuZ 2 iMpReSs tEh jUdGiZ"
That first blow of the ballistic dummy was single-handedly the most devastating blow i have seen on Forged in Fire! wow! went through skull bone like butter. 🤣
4:35, why was he drinking laundry detergant?
It's Gatorade, bro...
Is Gatorade a mix between mineral water and energy drink btw?
@@RandomAssViewer Is Gatorade made with real gators?
"It's a bummer it couldn't be tested..." Well, make the sword they asked you to make...
His sword was absolutely beautiful and deserved the money, and the win.
On the first sword Doug could of stopped after the first strike but kept for the fun of it
What?!?! They left out my favorite part where Wil gives the history lesson and tells what show or game the weapon is featured in.

woah he almost cut off his left shoulder 5:56
INCREDIBLES!!!
History created Forged in Fire channel thats amazing 😃
Too much excited to see new episodes 😀
I feel bad that they dont at least demolish a dummy if a blade doesnt meet parameters
That was the cleanest decapitation I've ever seen on this show.
This is the first time I've seen the blade fail before even testing lol
the original inspiration behind the medieval arming sword.
Son? It's your long lost dad! 🤣👍👊
cant they say
you lose
but we will test it anyways
What a great young guy!
doug suddenly cuts himself : IT WILL HEEEAAAL :)
Omg 😱 the soldier is back! 🥰
West Virginia is a piece of heaven brought down to earth such a beautiful place.
Yes, Welcome to the forge ... IT WILL KEAL..
‘Bit of the top please’
Turkish Barber: 6:40
I used to think the heads and arms chopped off at the bottom of the Bayeux Tapestry were just artistic licence, as I didn't think a medieval sword would slice off an arm or cut off a head.
DENIED!! I was robbed. At least show off the rest of the testing. Finally get a decent weapon in and we don't get to see it perform.
man the Spatha is such a freaking utilitarian and brutally efficient design, seeing what it did to that ballistics dummy compared to some of the other weapons...sheesh
"Weapons expert" - uses one handed sword with two hands, every time.
Is no one gonna mention that the title reads: "BUTCHERS the Final Round" while there is not even a first round?
This is literally just the final round. It didn't go through the final test, but when they go to their home forges that is the final round. That's why nobody is mentioning it
I don't think that, that is why. I think it's an automated title. "Butchers the Final Round" would at least mean that there was some testing.
because Clickbait.
@@MyNameIsChallenger i think "butchers" is a perfectly good description for what the first sword did to the dummy.
@@NySiiS Maybe as a word it makes sense but as a sentence it's misleading
That "it'll kill" sounds so evil

POV: you talkback to your mom 6:22
This guy is a menace
wouldnt mind a bit of history about each sword
U need to get that old prisenter back
He's gone for good.
Good boy!
They should continue with the testing even though a winner has been declared, just to see how the blade would hold up. Maybe have a winner who gets the money, then have a wall of fame that your blade can go on ONLY if it passes the testing
3:13 fire aspect 2
It's too bad the medial ridge was what killed this competition I would much rather have it go to the testing.
Also I'm not sure all spatha had medial ridges I believe some were lenticular in cross section.
I imagine them in the airport security explaining who tf they are transporting a ancient sword in their package.
Well done in giving it all back to his parents. Fare play
Heisenberg making swords now
Ben Abbot being there is a honour of this industry . The literal undertaker of forged in fire . 9 - 0
It's amazing bro n I love your decision to give all money to your parents love from Pakistan
very nice looking spada.
My man really took a chunk of time to carve an actual lions head for the pommel but didn't make sure to meet the parameters. Astounding
At 4:35 is he drinking antifreeze or is Gatorade actually available in that size in America?
Increased knowledge.
One of these days, they should make the Klingon Batleth the final challenge.
Need to do close ups for us to see entire pieces
didnt know budget Ryan Reynolds is also smithing now
Giving back the money to the parents, that is called honor kids
disappointing ending for sure because we didn't get to see that second sword being tested but OMG was that first sword a thing of beauty and the way it performed was like better than any other blades i've ever seen tested on this show before.
I think that thing was going to win regardless but yeah, i would've liked to see the other one tested still.
Maaaan i feel so sorry for the second dude
God damnit
I don't think it's fair because they still should test the strength and durability of the sored because it's still important not just during the kill test either.
Im just here for the testing
The Roman cavalry version of the Gladius.
likin every single video
Even though he didn't follow Perimeters they should of still did the competition just for the fun of it.
Awesome sword a sword worthy of King Leonidus of Sparta
this sword is something medieval knights would love
Nope, its a roman sword, medieval knights would have used an arming sword or longsword, after discarding their polearm.
Wow! That disqualification sucked!!
