What a delight. If I looked after myself as much as these guns have been looked after, there is no way I would be in good working order in 3/4 of the time these have been around. The craftsmanship is beyond compare! What a privilege it is to have access to such things of wonder... Well filmed and presented. Good work guys!!!

Our shooting group has a few Purdy's and a Boss scattered amongst the Brownings, Berettas, and Kreighoffs every week. These English guns are something to admire and covet as we all try and break targets. Obtaining one is on my bucket list for sure!

Now this is a video, everybody with an interest in guns should see. The pinnacle of Gun making. The two best makers the world has ever seen. When I was a 15-year-old boy, a gun collector called Arthur Williamson. Had both a Woodward and a boss o/u. He let me shoot them back to back. In his garden where he had a trap and a pattern plate, he has long since passed . And now I’m older I realise what a fantastic experience this was and how a few people ever get the chance to shoot the worlds. Best guns. I have to say I love a Woodward but there is just something about a Boss&co

I love the Mossberg comment because so true. Although I am literally the guy that owns a Mossberg 930 field gun that I justified to myself with OR3Gun aftermarket internals and so literally about as utilitarian as possible, I can still come to your channel and fully appreciate the extreme other end. Although these are untouchable to me, it's impossible to not appreciate the utter timeless beauty and appeal of the highly crafted pieces. Thank you for your channel content, I live vicariously through it.

I love watching your videos, and really enjoy how much you appreciate engraving work and the finer points of dressing up a shotgun. I am a romantic when it comes to classic shotguns, but my FAVORITES are the ones that have clean boxes and lines. sleek, clean and shine where its needed and function above busy messy stuff that to me takes away from its lines and design

Nice work gone into the guns, but however much we pay the same things they do, my mate took his expensive gun out and as we was shooting bolting rabbits while ferreting I took my cheaper gun and I shot more than he did and also did not care about throwing the gun on the ground to collect shot rabbits, I think the gun was an old Bikal it was built like a tank, but also I have more expensive guns but at the end of the day they are tools for a job and scratched and dints can happen out in the field.

Many years ago I visited Purdey’s shop in London. Handled two SxS shotguns which felt incredible. There was a O/U on the shelf. To be honest, it felt terrible in my hands. Granted, this is a subjective assessment, but that’s what I felt. Incredibly beautiful, but didn’t feel “lively” at all. This was a long time ago. I’d love to handle on today!

At approximately 8:40 there is a discussion about steel/bismuth/tungsten shot in these super high-end firearms. While I agree with the bismuth comment, I would disagree with the tungsten shot. Tungsten is much harder than steel, and I would treat it with the same if not more care than steel shot. I really did enjoy watching the video of a bunch of things that I will never be able to afford.

If you haven't already please consider Jesus as your lord and savior. He's the only path without a dead end! We are born with a sin nature. The wages of our sin is death. The good news of the gospel is Jesus paid our debts on the cross! There's no sinners prayer. Salvation and repentance are granted by God. Evidence of salvation is living a godly life through the ministry of the Holy Spirit! Evolution isnt gonna turn us into something else before we die, that's impossible! If we evolved from monkeys how are there still monkeys?! Please, all of you think about this. You're making a decision between blessing and life or curse and death. God treated Jesus as if he was the guilty one so we can be innocent. Idol gods and false religion's can't save us. Repent and seek the one whom can. JESUS!
That's a beautiful shotgun. Have a blessed week!
