I lived in Cali for 2 yrs and yes seen a lot of homeless there. Ive also had family members moce here to Australia because they could'nt afford it there and thats both parents working 2 jobs.
I just came across your page today so looking forward to following your journey.

I appreciate you. I was made "homeless" by a wicked landlord and an ex husband that stole my resources (fighting for all of it..many wins) Fortunately I had resources for air b n b but it's now 2 years of not having stability. It is like getting out of quicksand! People have no idea the damage it does! On the other hand I am wayyy stronger and I actually do not want a lease or mortgage again especially with what is coming in the great reset. It's quite an eye opener...when you have nothing to give suddenly most leave..it's a horrible wake up call.
That’s a good example, like trying to get of of quicksand. I say it feels similar to walking in the ocean against the tide

I just found your channel. Anyone can find themselves homeless. Living pay check to paycheck, something like an illness can lead to homelessness. Thank you for sharing your experience. I hope much success for your channel to help you become housed. ❤

Motel 6 always book online for cheapest and with AirBNB if U can book 3 weeks in advance u can get a good discount even renting a room inside a home they have that as well just stay in ur own space and clean after ur self . Airbnb has awesome deals b rates and if u can have shelter for 3-4 weeks at a time I believe U will be able to save up quicker n have less stress but I see y’all IN alemeda for ur P.O. Box so I’ll search n show U Airbnb is very affordable in my state of Arizona just a basic bedroom u can find for 700-1000 for a month
I did find a 1 room inside a home as low as 900-1100 range tbere a few places for 3 weeks in your area I know 3 weeks is like the minimum on Airbnb before a big discount so maybe y’all check that out sometimes it’s a room inside a home Airbnb is awesome

Do you have a go fund me and maybe list goals and goals progress. So many people are out there are in the know. I was also homeless and it’s hard to find help especially when you need like asap. Keep educating on homelessness no one deserves it!

@@jesandjayyeah like a donation goal and progression and make sure you give special shout to donors ;) I know the people will come together and help asking definitely is a magic skill because sometimes you get it.
@@jesandjay I think you should. I’ve seen a couple of homeless women on here get a ton of donations. I think when people see you actually doing something to improve your situation, they really want to help.
You guys just popped up on my you tube feed and I want to see your journey. Also all of us are just one bad thing happening away from being in your shoes. You’re sharing valuable information that just might come in handy one day. I hope and pray for y’all to get a home and that you’re safe in the meantime. 😊

Its time to turn your car into a home. You have a car. The seats in the back seats should lay down. If you have a few blankets spread it out for comfort. Your front seats can be pushed all the way up. They have window screens on ebay. I nhave four of them paid 1.98 for them. That way you can have your windows down . What is wrong with the car that its not running.
Have you guys thought of what you will do with the current car once a new one has been purchased?
Yes, we will probably still sleep in it , detonate size of car we end up buying
But i moved to oklahoma because i couldnt afford 2000 dollar rent
im terrified of this same with my son, 3 week count down, in Oregon. no resources for us either, any advice?
son is 23 years old, we are in this together, he has mental health issues and I have some serious medical issues
I’m not sure of resources in Oregon. But I would start looking immediately, even if there’s a chance you’ll save your home. Get EBT if you don’t have it, SSDI if you don’t have it, apply for everything because the turn around can take awhile

I understand what you are saying, and I get this opinion from both sides. People agreeing with what you said and then people saying " don't depend on a man" or don't expect a man to take care of you. I can't have it both ways! :-)

I hope you gain full time employment soon. I wish people would stop saying 'we're all just a paycheck away from homelessness', this is untrue, its a gross generalisation.
It is a generalization but the sentiment behind the statement is appreciated. I see it as more as a blanket statement for “ anything could happen to anyone at anytime “
