Okay, the silliness of it all aside, you have to admit that there's some very high level micromanagement going on there. I don't think I can win against any of them and I used to play StarCraft since launch. Kudos to the champions. I really love these kinds of tournaments where they take it seriously.
Competitiveness comes from peoples abilities to efficiently micromanage around, and use their units correctly. Take for instance the High Templar, he has no base-attack, and can only cast abilities. Most people don't bother to use him just because he can't attack, yet he can be one of the most powerful units in the game. The Psi Storm he is able to cast can decimate legions of units within seconds, shown in the video where the lightning storms are over the tanks.

Lol, spekle, in Australia there's this player called Legionaire, who has been in the scence for a long time. He used to play in the Korean leagues (go search for him, I'm sure there's a video somewhere on youtube). He's always been the Australian WCG champ, so many years in a row. But yeah, don't kid yourself.

When players decide to nuke, they usually intense micro and distract the opponent with other harrasment attacks while the nuke is being set off. But you generally don't see nukes because it is high risk of failure.

There was one round Ive seen 6 years ago, player hallucinated 24 carriers and rushed with it, 5 being legit. Guy literately gg'd once being spotted. From then, people never gg'd until the majority of the base were gone.
how did those players manage to macro so many units at the same time : as an example... disableing 6 oposite units at once.... or recalling 5 packs of units at the same time... :D idd really want to know please....
