Irradiate only does damage to biological units, but you can target machines. A nifty trick is to cast irradiate on a tank with Defense Matrix and watch the Zerglings explode when they get into range. Or, as Boxer did, use two Scienve Vessels to target each other, and fly around your enemy's drone line; works very well if you do a little attack because it doesn't say you are under attack if it's only the splash damage that is zapping the units. Best of luck

In the end, he does lose his marines at 2:30, but he finishes the Zerg player off by equipping the Sci Vessels with irradiate and essentially destroying all the miners.
He irradiated his own Science Vessels and plowed through the drones? I would never have thought of something like that. Not to mention the incredibly long-lasting marines.
@angryrantingguy they combined it because the medic was considered OP in the SC2 because of the ability to pump out 2 rines at once with a reactor, and optical flare would be even more OP since Ovies arent detectors anymore unless u upgrade them. Also with marine sheild upgrade medics would come to early on in the game making a M&M rush way to deadly
I'm surprised that boxer didn't sweep his opponent even earlier. That must have taken place in the mid-early portion of the game, and set his opponent back a LOT. If only Boxer could have spared a half second to order the rest of his forces in his base to assist, the game may have ended very early.

Just a guess but even with the best lurker placement he could've done it looks like boxers second set of forces would have just rolled over them especially if using comsat. Boxers science vessel trick was just epic =)
From the moment boxer got marines into the zerg base he won because he distracted the zerg enough so he could bring in a large force.
