So much trafic ruins the fun! They should limit the number of cars on track at a given moment more drastically. I can't see the point bringing a good car to a race track if you spend half the lap waiting for slower cars to move out of the way.

Usually a meg with a big turbo will start at around 400 with some examples like RS tuning in the uk hitting around 600hp without huge modification, ie, no real block work done so no sleeves, rebore or crank/stroke changes just rebuild items like cams pistons ect. had my meg for 5 years and still having fun

So much trafic ruins the fun! They should limit the number of cars on track at a given moment more drastically.
I can't see the point bringing a good car to a race track if you spend half the lap waiting for slower cars to move out of the way.
You are absolutely right 👍 Need to show the video and tell the track operator, that it’s just too much traffic 😅
there should be a better driving etiquete. When you see that a car from behind is faster, move aside, don't drive defensively like you are in a fvecking race.

What are your thoughts on the stock breaks of the Type R?
Generally they are good, but if you break hard and late (as on the track) they suffer a lot, the discs crack so that a regular change is required, what I recommend is steel braided brake hose and better brake fluid 👋
@@NordschleifeTypeR Thanks for the reply and the good info. Follow-up question: is it legal in Switzerland to change the stock disks for larger ones (for a car that is also driven on the public road)?
@@haveaseatplease well, it really depends, for bigger discs I believe rather not
Every chance needs to have homologation of Swiss authority which means that the producer or importer of it has to go trough an approval process in Switzerland, this is only done by the producer if sufficient potential buyers are there, so it’s a judgement of the producer, single approval is also possible, but so expensive that not worth it

@@NordschleifeTypeR I'm asking if the Renault you were Hunting has a 6 Banger Engine Or turbo 4 Banger engine. In America and Canada some serious driving enthusiast or Gear Heads refer to smaller engines like 4 cylinder as a 4 Banger or 4 popper. 6 cylinders are referred to as 6 bangers or 6 poppers no matter if their turbo equipped or not.
@@benjaminwilliams3568 actually I don’t know but I don’t think he had a 6 banger, that would be a massive upgrade, and knowing the rules in Switzerland (he had Swiss number plates) quite impossible 😩
Probably a 4 banger but with mods like bigger turbo, other software setup, maybe other intercooler, etc 👌🚀
@@NordschleifeTypeR If I'm honest it looks like it's fairly standard, I know from experience that a 2010 meg can run a mk2 focus rs closely standard (in a straight line) and on a decent remap with some minor supporting mods will push up to around 300 - 320hp without much extra in, obviously civic on a remap can gain a bit too, as soon as you start touching a bigger turbo on the meg you might as well go all in because there's only a few options out there due to the standard turbo being a TD04 of evo fame so turbo kits like ktec's or other specialits are quite big and quite expensive, around £3k -4k don't even remember if that includes an intercooler haha.
@@benjaminwilliams3568 The Megane is a 2 litre 4 cylinder turbo engine with around 275BHP in it's top form in this version. The new model is a 1.8 Litre turbo 4 cylinder with 300 BHP in the Trophy version. This one may well have been mapped for a bit more HP as it was keeping the Type R at bay though in the straights the Type R would probably have got it. The Megane in the corners is immense and for track use is a weapon with great handling chracteristics.
