Thank you so much and great that you’re watching my videos again ❤️ It’s not easy and takes many years of practice, I’m driving on the Nurburgring since 15 years 🏁🏎️ but always a lot of enjoyment 😊
Dude! Your back❤ It's very nice to see your vids. Your Honda sounds sooooooo Good. Did you delete the resonator? Are you running a mild aftermarket muffler? Your 2 liter sounds really really good and very smooth. You got one of the most empty track sessions I've ever seen, spent few cars and a lot of road to stretch your Civics legs out. This is your best vid to date. Your driving is exponentially improving as well. The only Sad thing with Fribt Diffed cars is the front wheels are overtaxed having to pull the cars weight, steer, and provide traction all at the same time. Listening to you control your throttle input show your very intune with your car, and even controlling your throttlevinout, your front tires just can't handle the g forces of trying to grip and turn in. Maybe a qaife limited slip differential install might solve your open differential limits? What do you think? It's nice to see you back on track sir. Thank you 🎉🎉🎉🎉
I commented three years ago when you racing a 718 and I said on straights that 718 gets ghost and you said give the Type R your Type R 50 to 100 more horsepower and you claimed a different result here I am three years later and you are still chasing .. Whats Up Brother ?
Crazy driving. You gave that m4 a run for it's money. Goes to show what a dedicated Japanese sports car can do even with over 200 hp less and 4 doors. Also shows how crappy bmws are. Respect for the extremely good driving and the gear changes were 👌
What makes you think this video is representative how "crappy BMWs are" ? The Civic driver is clearly a better driver. Put an equivalent skill level driver in the BMW and you would see how that "crappy BMW" will perform against the Type R. The Civic is excellent but your comment against the BMW is baseless.
@@mikeman8653 while you have a point I know what the type r is capable of. The m4 weighs 400 or 500 kilos more and it's a bmw so naturally it's not good on the track. A fk8 type r had the same lap time as a m2 comp which costs twice the amount has 2 less doors and has 150 more hp. What you don't understand is that the type r is a dedicated sports car. Made with a race driver on track. The m4 is just some failed attempt at a sports car so they gave it over 500 hp 👌. The m4 csl which is limited production and costs about 200k euros if you can find one is beaten by so many cheaper cars on track. Gt3 amg gt r nissan gtr audi r8 and many more. The porsche and r8 have times below 7 minutes. Bmw is 7:19. Not even close. The m4 csl is a full on track car if you didn't know. It comes with helmets. Yet it was slower than cars with the same or less power than it has. Bmw was always a mediocre brand. But honestly as a true audi fan I can say bmw is now the best as of right now because they didn't go hybrid and still have a coupe. Audi ditched the rs5 coupe and went hybrid. Audi came with adjustable race coilovers forged wheels tuned diffs and many more things with the comp package. Now they are just hybrid heavy elephant shit. Bmw is going the same way. Porsche is the only one that will remain probably. The type r weighs a little over 1.4 tonnes. Naturally it IS better than a almost 2 tonne coupe.
@@DudeThedudesky You’re not quite making a convincing case for why "BMWs are crappy." Referencing other brands like Audi and Porsche, as well as their hybrid systems, isn’t really relevant to this discussion. Quoting Nürburgring lap times for cars that aren't in the same price range or category doesn't add much to the argument. I understand you view the FK8 as a dedicated race car compared to "heavy elephant shit BMWs." I hope you get the chance to drive or own both vehicles someday to appreciate the significant differences in manufacturer intent and how they perform on the street and track, as well as their intended markets. I personally own the FK8, G80 Comp, G82 Comp, G87, Audi RS3, and my favorite, the GT3. I drive all of these on the track and use them as daily drivers (except for the CRX with a k20, which is purely for the track). Interestingly, I find the FK8 to be the least comfortable for daily use, with no heated or cooled seats, a bouncy ride, and a noisy cabin. But I absolutely love how it performs on the track. While I might "not understand" few things about cars as you mentioned, I fully enjoy all of my "crappy BMWs" on a daily bases and track days.

Why do you mean? In some curve it’s a trade off between remaining in 4th gear or changing in 3rd, in 3rd the control is better and of course more power in the exit 😅 But happy to get your input 😊👍
@@NordschleifeTypeR More often than not you downshift to 3rd and having to upshift shortly after the exit of the corner. Look at your run again. It's ineffective and not very elegant.

Nice driving, but not enough power to overtake m4...

Thank you 😊 but you are right would need more power 😅
